Why the date on my iPad is showing 1st Jan 2555be? I can't change it back to 2012!
I'm not sure when it started, but now the date on my iPad is showing 1st Jan 2555be and I can't change it back to the current date. Anyone can help or share if you faced the same problem? Or is it because of some apps that I installed that caused the problem.
Settings-general-international.
Change calender format, you have it set to Buddhist.

iCloud only give so much space for free storage, then if you exceed the limit of 5gb you have to pay for additional storage. -
back in the days of leopard, the dashboard widgets would come to the foreground but you could still see what you were working on. Now I've updated to mountain lion and the work is no longer visible when I activate dashboard. Can I change that back?
Go to system preferences, mission control, and unselect "Show Dashboard as a Space". While you're there, you may want to make dashboard set to a hot corner "Hot Corners" button at the bottom.

Why is it like if i don't sync the data in my pad to the itunes of my system ,the data in my ipad is getting cleared when i copy any thing to my ipad.This is not comfortable rite?why is this so.?or there is any other way?
i noticed this as a bug in iTunes. make sure the correct file is selected in the preferences menus. It does not have to be the default location directiory as Vazandrew stated. your iTunes music library can be anywhere you want it. i have mine on an external cuz i'm a dj and have over 80,000 songs.
once you select/verify the location of your music library, simply drag the folder into the left panel in iTunes from a finder window. iTunes does not automatically add the items like it use to for some reason. -
On iCal this year the date of shrove tuseday is showing on Tuesday 13 of February witch for a start is wrong coz it's a Thursday and wrong because its meant to be in march

If you open the recovery drive (partition) it should only have a single folder (Recovery).
To make sure that your not saving restore points to that drive.
See:
Start, Control Panel, System, System Protection tab. Make sure the D drive partition is set to OFF so that it does not save there.

The best way IMO is to sync each iPad with your computer. Having all your stuff backed up on a computer is a good idea anyway. Just read how many folks here are trying to recover lost stuff that could easily be copied back from either backup or iTunes on the computer.
Sync both iPads to the computer. Transfer all photos to the same computer. Then sync again selecting which items you want on each iPad. -
What is the data usage for ipad mini on stand by when connected to WIFI?
We connected 34 ipad mini's for yacht WIFI network that has internet access. Now data usage is 1GB/h higher for the all connections than before.
None of the ipad's are used for internet. My question is what is the data usage when ipad is is standby usage and how I can stop is downloading/uploading.
This slows down internet for rest of the users in same network.

I have installed the latest version of iOS in my ipad but forgot to backup the content, what should i do!!! I don't want my media and other data erased, how can i find back all the data in my ipad? I haven't restore ipad yet, so any others way can be use? Now my ipad is in recovery mode.
Once you are in Recovery Mode, it's too late to do any backup. I am afraid you are going to lose your data.

It sounds like a remote erase was sent via 'Find My Mac', to check please go to www.icloud.com and login. Is there any data there?
If it was a remote erase only someone who had the ID and password could have done it. And in that case the data is gone, it is not recoverable I'm afraid. -
