Why there is a chrome folder under firefox directory ? Is it related to google's chrome ?

I just started creating my very first firefox extension. When I was following the steps([http://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2009/01/28/how-to-develop-a-firefox-extension/ How to develop a Firefox extension]) to create the extension folder hierarchy, I came across this folder named '''chrome'''.
Google search directed me to (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Chrome_folder). But all it says is:
''The chrome folder contains files for customizing the application with CSS, userChrome.css and userContent.css.''
I am just a bit curious why this folder is named '''chrome''', has it anything to do with Google's browser Chrome ? Or it just a pure coincidence ?

Because there's a DACL that allows to create folders (you are in an
appropriate group allowed to do so), and there's a second DACL that
allows for creating or modifying files (you are NOT in an appropriate
group to do so).

Yesterday my dock application folder blew up in the display window? I'm not sure about the question I asked, but it seems like one problem just leads to another. While I was trying to fix my Netflix problem someone suggested a freedownload that I thin was called WMV4mac or somethng like that. I downloade it and after my installer completed it there was a request to download a licencing software??? I wasted too much time trying to get rid of this software, but wonder if I might have screedd up some things in the process.
I could go on about the tribulations I've been going through, but everyone will loose focus? So lets see what happens next?

Use of JOBS folder under root directory

We have Backup, Binn, DATA, Install, JOBS, Log, repldata directories under the instance root directory, as of now I heard the JOBS directory is used for jobs information, but I never see any jobs related information is captured under JOBS, Can someone please
explain the purpose of this directory and what kind of jobs information stored here if any.

It is just a default directory that SQL installation creates. It is not being used in the latest SQL versions (you can rename it and restart SQLAgent without any problems). However, in SQL 2000, it used to maintain a registry key called working directory
for this path and SQLAgent was dependent on this folder even though it is just a default directory (I haven't seen any usage of it though)

Bug under firefox with mac version

There is a pb only under firefox for mac and not in firefox for windows, neither under safari, chrome and ie on both version.

Yes there is but you have to read the instructions carefully and choose the right library. For more detailed help just provide more details about system and versions.

How to completely uninstall air app(clear up user files under app directory)?

In the adobe air 1.1 install/uninstall document, it says "Removing an AIR application removes all files in the application directory. However, it does not remove files that the application may have written to outside of the application directory. "
But it's not true. I found you cannot completely uninstall the app if there is any user files under app directory. If the user re-install the app, it will reminder the user "some error has occurred ...because an application with that name already exists at the selected installation location.... ".
How to get rid of this problem if the user didn't clear up the folder manually before re-install? If it's a limitation of adobe air, anyone could give me any evidence from official documents? Cause I have to persuade the user to accept it Thank you.

You shouldn't need to uninstall the Micro, it won't conflict. If tags aren't being sent properly then there might be some issue with the tags being read from the files. Check with a dedicated tagging program, and rewrite the tags perhaps on some test files.

The problem was coming from my server.
I recently played with some settings from a "cache control tool" offered by my hosting but i thought i had it back at default. Turns out i must've missed something. Now i have the .html caching on and everything works good on all browser.
I have another question tho...
I'd like to know if there's a way to cache an html file without having to ask my hoster to cache all of my htmls...

I have 100's of CDs that I have downloaded to my itunes library and they are in the library playable but they do not show up in the C drive under the iTunes Music folder under users. Why are they in the libary and not in the itunes music folder. Win 7 OS

(1) Firefox's built-in post-crash page has not been a real HTML page for a long time (for example, from the time of Firefox 22, see: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/968212 Want to save LOTS of versions of "Restore Session.xht" from the "oops ..." page for later use]). If you had this working differently with Firefox 25, that might have been created by an extension.
You can check to see whether extensions are disabled or need an update on the Add-ons page. Either:

* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. The disabled extensions cluster toward the bottom of the list. To poll for updates, use the "gear" button above the list and choose Check for Updates.

Hello, since a day or two (22/nov/2013) youtube is not displayed proprely, in fact the whole page is a real mess and its unusable under firefox. I had to use chrome to watch videos today because of that.
I have the latest flash updates, same goes for firefox.
I made a screenshot of the whole things, but it doesnt seem like I can include it to this post.

A short time ago, Youtube changed its page navigation model from loading the entire page when you click a link to modifying the contents of the current page (similar to how instant prediction results work in Google search). Since the page will lay out correctly for you on reload, it suggests that something is interfering with the normal operation of the scripts that modify the pages when you navigate between videos.
Note: If you notice this problem primarily when going "back" you could work around a problem with the in-memory cache by making a setting change. This forces Firefox to re-parse the page and may slow down "Back" on all sites by some milliseconds. Here's how:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''sess''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the '''browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers''' preference and change it to 0 (that's a zero).
