Widgets primer?

Where can I find basic info on how to use these? There doesn't seem to be a widgets "help" function (my drop-down menus don't change when I open dashboard), and some basic information I get using osx help seems wrong ( it tells me to click f12 to open dashboard, for instance; that's a volume key).
I've learned how to customize the four or five widgets that appear when I click on dashboard, but where are the other pre-installed ones, for example?

Click on the plus sign in a circle at the bottom left corner of the screen (once you are in Dashboard).

New Spry Widgets

Hi,
Are there any tutorials explaining step by step how to create brand new widgets or functions in the Spry mould?
There's some additional stuff I've been acheiving through bits of other frameworks and would like to see if I can repeat the functionality through writing some Spry extensions.
If there's anything on turning them into dream weaver extensions so I can inthat would also be greatsert them just like other Spry functions and widgets that would also be great.

CS5.5 lightbox widget won't work

Hi, I am currently designing my portfolio page, and I decided to insert the lightbox widget into it to save time; however, it is causing me a lot of problems. I have tried both dragging the widget directly into dreamweaver and downloading it manually; although, no matter what I do, both the thumbnail images, enlarged images, and all the .gif's do not show up.
I realized that this would usually happen due to incorrect file directory, so I double checked those paths. It turns out that the paths are all correct. I tried redownloading it various times, but nothing changed.
Is this a typical problem with CS5.5?? It is so frustrating!

I can't speak to the Lightbox Widget itself because I've never tried it. But you can successfully add jQuery plug-ins into any site regardless of which version of DW you use.
Download Fancybox or similar Lightbox plug-in script.

Dream weaver CS6 Widget not working

Hello,
I'm somewhat new to DW CS6 for Windows 8 which I just purchased and installed. My problem is with Widget Browser. When I click the Widget Browser I get "Failed getting widget feed" error. Can someonw suggest what may I be doing wrong?

The old Widgets were not updated regularly so not the latest and greatest by any means. Most of us use jQuery plugins. See link below for details.

CS6: Widget Browser and LightBox Gallery Widget

I am a student-- i am presently taking a dreamweaver CS6 class. i think understand correctly that the widget browser and the lightbox gallery widget are no longer available. if so, what do i for the replacement??? thx.

NCS/Prime 1.2 search error

On our NCS and now also on our recently upgraded Prime 1.2 we get the following error when doing a simple search in the search window at the top right of the screen:
There was an error while parsing and rendering the content. (Tried to register widget with id==mseLicenseInfoDialog but that id is already registered)
This occurs whichever role you log in as and only happens on teh simple search, when using teh advanced search we do not see it.
Has anyone else seen this and share how we can get rid of it/fix the problem?

Symptom: When NCS is unlicensed, clicking on Advanced search gives error dialog with content "Error while parsing rendering content.....".
Conditions: NCS is unlicensed.
Workaround: Add a NCS license.
If you believe it is licenced corretcly I would speak to TAC or Cisco licensing.

Using CWUTU 2.0 with Prime 2.2, How to?

I don't suppose anyone is using the ol' Cisco Works User Tracking Utility 2.0 with Prime.
Moving our LMS 4.2 to Prime 2.2 shortly and I pointed the CWUTU at the existing Prime 2.2 install (wireless) to see if could get a handshake. While certs were exchanged, the utility advisees to verify IP:port as no other response to query..

Sorry but it can't be done.
UTU was a lightweight tool that, under the covers, talked directly to Prime LMS's Sybase SQL Anywhere database. Similarly the Prime LMS Widget did as well.
Prime Infrastructure uses an entirely different Oracle database and is thus not compatible with UTU.
There's currently no equivalent tool for the desktop and I've not heard of plans to introduce one. :(
There was the Cisco Prime iOS app that offers a "clients and users" view. It may be of use to you - I haven't had the chance to try it on a live system.
It appears Cisco has abandoned this app though since I can't find it on the app store anymore after looking just now. I do have it on my iPhone. :)

Jquery ui widgets

Where can I find some videos on using the jquery widgets that are in dreamweaver. I want to see what the possibilities are. I am not sure if I can download more plugins to give me more options within dreamweaver or if i need to download stuff that I do independent of dreamweaver and then insert it it. So any way to point me in the right direction would be great. I am also interested in the different effects that jquery offers. thanks

Widget Browser can't be started

Hello,
I can't start the Widget Browser. I get the message "Unable to load WSDL. If currently online, please verify the URI and/or format of the WSDL (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/exchangedwwidgetsfacade.cfc?wsdl)"
What can I do? I use Windows 8 and Mozilla, cookies are allowed.

Widget Browser was deactivated quite a while ago.
Use the Adobe Add-ons - https://creative.adobe.com/addons
Or, manually use jQuery plugins.

Widget Browser in Dreamweaver CC

I really liked being able to use some of the widgets with cs5. Now that I have upgraded I cant find out how to do that. I see the adobe exchange but that doesnt seem to offer the great stuff the wodget browser offered. How do I use that again. Or can I find nice slide show widgets and stuff like that using jquery... if so where is a good place to go to find our how to use all of that... thanks

Adobe Widget Browser 'error 2032'

XP, latest updates, antivirus turned off, firewall turned off (just to make this work, these are usually turned on).

After reading some threads on above topic I still have not found a solution. I am sorry for posting something that has been addressed before but this is clearly not working. At least, I can not make this work. I tried about everything I can think of now.
What I did so far:
I sign in.
In the top portion of the Widget Browser, I can see I am logged in.
I get a list of widgets.
When I select a widget, the widget is openened and the download starts. After a few seconds, I get the message "There was an error downloading the widget, error 2032" and the download stops.
I disabled my antivirus.
I disabled the firewall.
And tried again.
Nothing worked.
I created a new Adobe account.
That didn't help either.
I thought it might have something to do with the browser and turned on cookies.
Didn't help.
I have been trying to get this to work all day yesterday and today, taking up serious time. And I finally am at my wits end. Any input anyone?

Help creating an applet (prime numbers and numbers divisible by 4)

I am very new to java, and I have exhausted all of my resources before posting here. I have checked the archives but what I am looking for is not really there. I have an exam in 2 days, and there is a question like this one I cannot get to work.
I am supposed to ask for two numbers, the startNumber and endNumber. Then I am supposed to print in ascending or ascending order (this is already done)only the numbers divisible by 4 and the prime numbers. I have seen in the archives how you can use a boolean to check for prime numbers, but given the complexity of this question, I cannot put it into practice. Anybody can help me please?

I'm sure there are better ways than this but it's the only one I can think of offhand.
Create a boolean array from 2 to the largest number, set them all to true, then go through and on the first true number set all the multiples to false. Then do the same with the next true number(Sieve of Erasthoenes). Then you can go through and set all the mutiples of 4 to true with another loop. Then print the numbers in the range.

Ahora, en el código se observa que existen condiciones de carrera o "race conditions", . Esto sucede cuando se intenta escribir y leer a una variable local o global casi al mismo tiempo, por ejemplo en el primer cuadro de la secuencia estas escribiendo a "verde" el valor de falso y al mismo tiempo se esta leyendo de "verde" para escribir al Linx subVI, como esto se encuentra en paralelo no se puede determinar cual de estas dos accionas sucede primero. Te recomiendo establecer un mejor orden para actualizar las variables y de verdad buscar realizar este proyecto con una máquina de estados, puedes encontrar un gran ejemplo en el "Example finder" que se denomina "State Machine Fundamentals". Lo puedes enconetrar de la siguiente manera:
