Will a Flash navbar work inside a div tag?
I created a pretty simple navbar in Flash and put it inside a <div>. It looks great but the links don't work. Am I missing something or will this not work?
Your code is fine if you take out the other stuff. Got an error somewhere else?
Tear it down starting with this and then rebuild one line at a time......

View the CSS on it and view the html on it. It is pretty straight forward if you inspect markup and then change the CSS to suit.
With those catalog names though your space does not look big enough for them so most of them will instantly be on two lines no matter what you do. So consider that as well. -
Problem with Flash in a Hide/Show Div Tag
What is the best way to handle Flash files on an HTML page
within a <div> tag you hide and show (via javascript). It
seems to reload when you hide and then show the <div> tag
when using display: block.
Positioning instead (move offscreen)?
Visibility?
Other?I would say off-screen is going to give you the best
cross-platform performance. I've found visibility show/hide
prevents the swf from working in IE while hidden much like you
alluded to. Of course in mozilla browsers hide doesn't behave the
same way. -
Cant get rules to work with pz:div tag
im using commerce server 2.0.1 with sp1
i made a rule sheet and rule and rule selectors through the wlpsadmin
tool
and then i was trying to base content inside a portal using one of the
rule selectors and the pz:div tag.
this is what the jsp page has inside:

the server just hangs for about 5 minutes, and then no content is

interchangingly. i never got the jsp tag to work, however i got around it by
using java code. they have a class called ContentSelectorExample which you can
use to exceute a rule. here is my code that seems to work:

How do I center an image inside a div tag using fluid grid layout?
where do I find and what do i use the image properties position when using the fluid grid layout. I'd like to center the image in the mobile page versus th left position in the desktop.

Will Adobe Flash 8 work with Windows Vista?
I was just wondering whether anyone knew whether the new
WIndows Vista will work fine with Adobe Flash 8?
Thanksnervous is not how i would describe it - more like confused
and innacurate. We have no choice for
creative content solutions? I use at least 2 other animation
programs for starters. There's also
Corel and Painter and well, I could go on when it comes to
graphics editors.
There's also Camtasia as oppsed to Contribute.
True Adobe now dominates the market, but often times the word
"monopoly" comes with negative
connotations - Photoshop, AFter Effects, Flash and other
products have become so universaly standard
mostly because they deserve to be based on their features,
stability and because we chose to use
them over other products.
But I also agree with you, Adobe is now the one-stop-shopping
for almost anything a creative person
would need. I just wouldn't say there are no other choices. I
combine other animation software
almost everyday for things that flash falls short on.

Many times, while I am surfing through the Internet a particular web page will have a video, which requires Flash. iPads do not use Flash. So my question is, what app can I get from the app store will help me views these videos?
I did a quick search here and came up with a couple, the better of the two appears to be "Photon Flash Web Browser".
As with any app, read the reviews and decide for yourself. It may or may not work with the sites you need. -
Flashes wont work inside templets, why?
When i put Flashes inside templets, they just wont work.
viewing the page gives me the exact page, but without the flashes,
and when i run a validation it says: 'The tag name: "embed" Not
found in currently active versions.[XHTML 1.0 transitional]'
I've tried changing the "active versions" but it dosn't seem
to help, if anyone knows what all this is about and knows how to
fix it would i be very glad to hear. (:

LynneThe camera connection kit can only be used to import photo/video files form a camera, SD card or USB flash drive. You can't import other types of files. You can't export any type of files using the camera connection kit.

Will abobe flash 11 work on my 1.60ghz desktop
I just install Adobe Flash Player 11 on my Gateway desktop running Windows 7 Ulitimate at 1.60 ghz. The minium requirments are 2.33 ghz for desktop and 1.60ghz for netbook. My Youtube site has stopped playing videos as well as all other video sites. google say error 5. Firefox my image assistant says "Failed to instantiate Image Assistant back-end! You are probably missing a dependent library". But is their any way I can get back the older version?

Always need to reboot Mac to get flash to work.
Every time I want to use Adobe FLash player, it crashes upon start and I have to reboot my Mac. I tried upgrading from leopard to Snow Leopard and the problem is still the same. I am using the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
It doesn't matter if I am using Safari, Firefox, or Google Chrome, Flash crashes in all of them.
I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, tried the debugger file and STILL......it crashes. I just recently realized that a complete shutdown and restart of my
Mac will get Flash Player working.
A side note: I also experience this same thing whenever I want to use the scanner portion of my Canon Pixma printer/scanner. There too, I have to shutdown and restart the computer. Not sure the two are related or merely a coincidence.

None editable Div tag within a editable Div tag template
I am using a template i created to build a website and the only editable Div is the 'Content'. Using this template i have created a 2nd template for a portfolio page. On my 2nd template i have a Div tag within the 'Content' Div tag with list of all the jobs i have done with hyperlinked to photos. I want this list to be only editable on the template so when i update the 2nd template rest of the files related to this template get updated.
Is it possible to have a none editable Div tag within an editable Div tag?

I have a main template with just the 'Content' Div Tag editable. Using this template i created anyother template for my portfolio page. Inside the editable Div Tag i have another Div Tag with 2 sets of tables for my portfolio lists. I want this Div tag to be only editable through the 2nd template only as i will have portfolio lists of over 30 pages/links.
I selected the Div Tag with the 2 set of tables and selected 'Add Object to Library'. First message was that the CSS coding will not be copied but errors messages as follows;

Everytime i click inside the Div Tag, i keep getting these messages.
I went to the library and amended the list but only the 2nd template changed, not the related pages linked to the 2nd template.

why does adobe flash not work in my firefox. i have down loaded it several times. it will work in explorer and chrome.
IE uses a different version of Flash than other browsers use. You need to install the Plugin version of Flash for Firefox.
1.Download the Flash setup file from here: <br />
