Will CS6 masterclass Premier Pro ever be updated to process XAVC from PWX-X180

I currently want to process XAVC from a Sony PWX-X180 sony camera. I know folks have written that the Premier Proc CC will do it, but
after spending all that money on the Master Collection, I was wondering when my version of Premier pro will be able to do it...

Hi,
You will have two versions of Premiere Pro after upgrading to CC 2014. It's not necessary to uninstall CC. You can have both versions installed in your computer.

The latest Premier Pro CC 2014 update forced me to convert and create version of my project while guaranteeing that the project would not be altered; however, the timelines/sequences are not the up to date versions I had. I saved different version of this project for various purposes, but they were all named differently(i.e joe and mary wedding, joe and mary wedding 2, joe and mary wedding 3, joe and mary wedding 3.1). I do not know if they just pulled the timelines from the earliest version, eradicated the data entirely, or something else.
Since the program prompts me to create and save a new version for the updated premier, I still have the previous projects, but cannot open them. I imagine they are unchanged, but cannot be sure.
Thoughts? Is it possible to uninstall an update re-install it later?
Please advise.

Add to right click menu of timelines an entry for "go to next keyframe" and "go to last keyframe" a la After Effects, we should also be able to assign a kb shortcut to this.
There are buttons on either side of the create keyframe button to advance forward or backward in the effects control panel or timeline.
You can also advance forward or backward in the effects control window by holding shift while dragging the playhead.
Allow copy/paste of selection of audio/video effects, not just one at a time. Sure we can copy/paste attributes but since we can also copy/paste effects it would only make sense to allow to copy/paste a selection of effects.
I guess I don't get this one. If I have 5 effects on a clip, I can simply command-click on the ones I want to copy over to the other clip.

Premier Pro CC 2014 update error, Photoshop doesn't open files from file menu, Illustrator lost swatches

Hi, as you see i have so many issues and no idea how all this happened but is so bad and slowing my work extremely. I can find out what to do and also i've been asking all over for help, even twitter but no one come back to me. So when come to payment of the subscription Adobe take the money right away but when we need help no one bother.

Premier Pro CS4, Am I expecting too much from my system

I am editing a project that contains video from a live concert: 4 camera, hd, wide screen P2 files. MXF files. Anyhow, I've had better luck editing on my
laptop i5 with 4 gigs of memory and an esata drive than on my desktop system outlined at the end of this message:
I am using multi-camera mode to make my cuts. In multicamera it is jittery and eventually stops. If I play the timeline in the program monitor (not blown up) it works and plays the video with no problems. If I play it in full screen, it's jittery.
I've been a PC guy for a long time but I've actually considered buying a mac pro and going final cut because I've spent days trying to debug this. Big investment! Any thoughts?
I've experimented with putting the cache, scratch files, and project files on different disks with no better results.
My virtual disk is currently 500gig, or 50000MB (I think I calculated that correct.) Anyhow, the minimum size number I input is 50000, and the largest size is the same.
I have 6 gigs of memory.

Okay, Each time I move the scratch files, I get results. Not the most optimal results but I think that this might be the key to get me going. Here's my setup:

E: This is an empty disk that I can use that is raid 0 with C:
F: Contains my raw video files, Non-raid

Premier Pro CC 2014 update error U43M1D204

I've been trying to update premiere for a day or so and each time I get this error code (I'm on an iMac, Yosemite, Creative Cloud). I've tried emptying the AAMUpdater folder in the library (~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0/) but it hasn't resolved the issue, I've noticed a couple of people have recently added this exact problem (premiere pro, same error code) to existing threads in the last few days so I wondered if it's a recently surfaced issue. All other applications (AME, AE, Photoshop etc.) have updated successfully. Here's the error window (in French but it says the download appears damaged and to retry in a few minutes, plus the error code). The error appears almost immediately when I retry the update.

Thank you for your reply, but I can't find the aamu.log file in either the user or the HD log folders, I've checked all previous threads with this code in any case. The updates all installed correctly on my laptop but not on my iMac (same account, same OS though the iMac's language is French). Technical support's just closed for the day but I'll contact them in the morning and post back if they manage to solve it.

HT4559 Will I lose my apps when I update my iPad software from 4.3.2 to ios5?

I cannot join the cloud until I update my software but there is a warning about losing apps, etc, for versions less than 4.3.3 when updating to ios5. Anyone know more about this?

You backup to iTunes. You have to use your computer in order to update so I assume that you are using iTunes.
What you should do anytime that you update the device is to transfer purchases from the iPad into iTunes - File>Transfer Purchases - and you should backup the iPad as well. When you update the update the device, if something goes wrong, you can restore from the backup.
However, iTunes should ask if you want to backup before you update, but just in case create the backup yourself before you update. The backup contains your app data and settings - along with other items - so make sure you backup first.
If you have any other important files, you may want to transfer them to your computer as well, prior to the update.

Updating library "processing" starts from scratch every morning!

help! every morning when i start aperture it decides it needs to "process" ALL 12K pictures in my library. in the activity window it says it's "updating library." i have no idea what this means or why aperture needs to do this every day. (once it finishes — after six or seen hours! — it works fine. but while it's "processing" my entire system crawls to a halt and time machine feels compelled to run and run and run.)
i've recently "upgraded" from iphoto to aperture, but this is another terrible "gotcha!" that makes me want to go back.
any idea what's going on, or how i can stop this endless "processing"?!?

Since your installation works well once it finishes processing, I suggest letting to so once more, and then try to repair and if nec. rebuild.

Premier Pro Creative Cloud vs Premier Pro CS6

Can someone please expalin to me the core difference between Premiter Pro CS6 and Premier Pro CC? The implication is that the latter is stored in the Cloud but I am really not seeing much of an advantage to that if that is the case.

The transitions should be in the base application. Effects Window.
Templates ? What templates does the "text book" refer to?
FWIW: Forget Templates for Students. Teach them how to edit and create for them selves.

Premier Pro CC 2014 crashing

Ever since I moved a project to a new RAID 0 array, premier pro cc 2014 crashes within 20-30 seconds. If I open the the project in the old location, no problems.
In looking at the Windows Application log, the error shows a a faulting module that is different each time, but generally it says:

Running latest version of Premier Pro CC 2014

Windows Update shows "No important updates available". There are 5 optional updates available related to a RealtekUSB3 Card Reader and three updates to Remote Desktop that allows Windows 7 to have Windows 8 Remote Desktop functionality. Most recent check for updates was at 5:44am this morning, and last updates were installed 8/15/2014.

Encoding Premier Pro timeline for Encore

I followed an Adobe tutorial video on how to use Encore CS6 with Premier Pro CC to the letter for making a regular DVD, but instead of getting a .m2v file when I Encode my timeline from Premier Pro, I get three files instead...a .xmp file, a .m2v file with no audio and a separate .wav file. What's up?

That is correct - in Encore, use "Import as > Timeline" and select the .m2v and .wav files at once and they come in together. The xmp file contains data for the chapter marks. Encore by default will transcode the .wav audio into Dolby AC3 when you create the DVD.
