Will my twitter accounts , facebook accounts or any accounts be saved when backing up ? If not , how ?

Will my accounts like twitter , facebook or other accounts be saved when backing up ? I want to save my accounts in my itunes or save it when backing up . Is that possible ? How ?

All settings are saved during backup.
I manually setup my mail accounts and don't sync them.
With each update of the firmware, all is wiped and put back on and my settings are always there.
I beleive the only thing that doesn't get backed up is your Camera Roll (photos you took with phone). Could be wrong though. Think they may of changed that somewhere along the line.
Settings of everything are saved (preferences, cookies, saved data from applications you installed, etc). All other content is on your computer (music, videos, apps, etc).

  • Why does my Twitter Account get suspended when I try sending Army of Awesome tweets?

Okay, so I recently joined army of awesome. I would reply to people's tweets, changing a word here and there to make the message more personal and human, and eventually I would lose access to my twitter account because it got suspended. This has happened twice and now Twitter is threatening to suspend my twitter account permanently. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I have enjoyed sending out the tweets. So maybe it's because I have been sending out too many tweets on behalf of Army of Awesome? Please help me figure this problem out. Thanks!

Yeah it's because Twitter feels you've sent too many tweets so it thinks you're spamming.
I don't think it's worth losing your twitter account permanently for this. I'd stop for now and possibly create a 2nd twitter account for Army of Awesome if you still really want to help.
What a headache Twitter & Army of Awesome has created.

  • Invalid Account Code error when posting AP Credit Note

    Dear Experts,
I hit this error message when posting an AP Credit Note based entirely on an existing AP Invoice (nothing was changed in the credit note).

    Please help!
    Warmest Regards,
    Chinho

    Dear All,
    I found the solution!
In my AP Invoice, there was a Rounding amount, but when I copied over to AP Credit Note, the system unusually set the Rounding amount as $0.00 and copies the Rounding amount to the Discount field instead.
**The "Invalid Account Code" error happened because I did not set GL account determination for discounts scenario.
So what I did was I cleared the Discount field in the Credit Note, and enter the rounding figure into the Rounding field again. Then, the AP Credit Note was able to go in Successfully!
    Thanks guys.
    Warmest Regards,
    Chinho

  • Will I make my 2009 Mac desktop any more memory efficient by running current files, (not applications such as Indesign, Photoshop), from a portable solid-state drive? Is it worth the trouble? Thanks

I have a slightly old Mac desktop and it is starting to slow down a lot now that I am using Adobe CS6 software. It is my final year of a 5 year architecture course and I can't afford to buy a new Mac.
Some of my fellow students are having similar problems with laptops and are running applications and files from portable drives - they wiped their entire Macbooks clean. I don't want to wipe my computer and start again as I may lose some of my oldest software which I have lost CDs for. Will it make any difference to run just my active files, or even move my most memory intensive software programs, to an external drive?
My desktop has maximum RAM installed.
    Any advice much appreciated.

    1. OWC or Crucial are recommended sources for memory. You can usually find a 5% off and free shipping code for Crucial on retailmenot.com. On crucial just key in your system information in their memory selector.
    2. Your system likely supports SATA II speeds, so the SSD OWC pointed to would work. I installed one in our 2010 mac mini and it's working well. I originally installed their 6G drive however it ran at SATA I speeds. Turns out the 3G which is specd for SATA II is what was needed and works fine.
    3. The OWC package they recommended includes a case to put your existing hard drive in. That helps to be able to transfer your data back to the SSD then you can use it as a backup drive or as an external storage device.

  • How can I change my twitter account on my mac?

I deactivated my twitter account on the web a few months ago. I forgot to sign out from twitter app on my mac. I have new twitter account now. When I tried to use twitter app on my mac, I've seen my old account profile photo. But I couldn't delete my old account on my mac. Is there someone who knows how I can change my twitter account on my mac app?

OK that's how you deactivated your Twitter account on Twitter, but I was responding to this part of your post: "But I couldn't delete my old account on my mac."
Please describe how you tried to delete your old Twitter account from your Mac and what happened when you did it. (Hint: It should probably start with a visit to the System Preferences application, not a web site.)
It would be helpful to me or the next user who sees this thread if you told us which model and year MacBook Air you have and what version of the system you run on it. Some of the suggestions might depend on either or both.

the scroll back gesture to the previous page, even after i sign out of my email account or Facebook anyone can still be able to see the content in the accounts just by scrolling back using the gesture. how can i stop safari from showing the content of my accounts?

Try calling Tech Support, they should be able to check to see if theres a lock and try to help you reset it, I had to call and get my account unflagged, for something that I didn't even do.

  • Twitter Accounts

    Hi!
I have an iPhone 5S and I've updated it to iOS8 yesterday. Before that, a friend of mine added or logged in her Twitter account at my Twitter app. After that, she logged it out but I am still receiving notifications from her account (e.g. if someone favorited, retweeted, mentioned her.) How do I stop the notifications?
Also, whenever I get 1 or 2 notifications only, it always says in my Twitter app that I have 12 or 14.
    Thank you for the help!

Go to iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete the current twitter account.  Then add back the account you want to use.

  • Are there any apps which will allow local calling using data only that do not require any special numbers called out initially and does not require the receiver to have a similar app or account?

Are there any apps which will allow local calling using data only (not minutes, no extra charge) that do not require any special numbers called out initially and does not require the receiver to have a similar app or account?  Just for random local calling.

    Yup.
Here is a way you could solve this by adding an extra column and a small lookup table:
The lookup table is here for the copying:
    0
    1
    k
    kilo
    2
    M
    mega
    3
    G
    giga
    4
    T
    tera
    5
    P
    peta
    6
    E
    exa
    7
    Z
    zetta
    8
    Y
    yotta
In table 8 (the one on the left in the image) column A is where the values are.
    B1=A1÷(1024^VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 1))&" "&VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 2)&"B"
this is shorthand for... select cell B1, then type (or copy and paste from here) the formula:
    =A1÷(1024^VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 1))&" "&VLOOKUP(INT(LOG(A1, 1024)), Binary Prefixes::A:D, 2)&"B"
    select cell B1, copy,
now select all the cells in column B, paste

  • Any clue on how to synchronize the mac air twitter account to my iPhone account

I want to sign in to my twitter account on my mac air to my iphone but for soem reason it doesnot sign it
    any clues?

Why don't you try contacting Twitter support? There might be a problem with your Twitter account.

  • After adding twitter account I can no longer see my contacts

I added my twitter account and can no longer see any of my contacts in Address Book or send emails to address book entries.
Removing the account brings all address book entries back.

    Recommendation for your consideration
Hopefully your original user account was an "administrator". I have two admin accts in case one admin. acct gets "trashed.
Lets see what other forum members offer: my solution requires use of terminal and works. CLI (Command Line Interface) might be intimidating for you but we'll see what others possibly offer.
As I say the solution I have works well and will allow you to create new user(s) replacing your former users whatever type they were. I promise to check back today if no solution to you is offered...
    Let 'er rip and...
    cheers

  • I need phone # for Al Tenneson's boss - and the boss of the twitter account team

Both of those listed in the subject have failed ot get me back to the service level I had after signing up (with much hassle) for TV to add to my Internet service. I contacted the twitter account aghast at the pricing, and they said they'd get me a lower deal. I asked if the channels would be the same, and they said yes. Then they later point out that they told me a different package...but they still verified my "will it all be the same?" inquiry. I am not a Comcast employee, and it is not my job to check the packages they list when I point blank asked if I would have the same service. They've blown me off for a solid day now without any response. Al Tenneson, meanwhile, has blown me off for a week at a time, then acted like he'd done a bunch of work reading the twitter conversation...but completely ignored the fact that the confirmed for me that everything would be the same. Comcast doesn't do business honestly. They put nice people in a position to provide bad service. Their pricing policies are designed to confuse. They offere different packages through different service entry points (website, phone, twitter, Executive Customer Relations, Tom K's team, and stores, probably among others), and try and upsell you to services you don't want or need by actually charging you *more* for less service. And then they wonder why people dislike them so very much. In any case, I need to speak with Al Tenneson's boss, and the manager in charge of the twitter team.

And I will reply to this every single day until such time as this concern is addressed with more than a canned apology. I need my channels back, and I need to not have to explain the entire situation over again for someone. You can get my account information, but it is up to Comcast to do the research adn understand that this is far beynd a simple "what can I do for you now?" circumstance. This is a need to speak with management regarding a pattern of poor customer service. And by management I mean nobody who works in customer service for a living.

I have been unable to access my twitter account for two days, when I log in it will not connect, it tells me the server is not responding and it times out, all other pages I use are fine, I can't even get to the page by searching and going into page that way.

I think the McAfee suite will do the trick when I pay them a one-time fee of $69 or $179 for a year for unlimited support.
Your call of course but IMO a waste of money. Please read this first:
There are many forms of ‘Malware’ that can affect a computer system, of which ‘a virus’ is but one type, ‘trojans’ another. Using the strict definition of a computer virus, no viruses that can attack OS X have so far been detected 'in the wild', i.e. in anything other than laboratory conditions. The same is not true of other forms of malware, such as Trojans. Whilst it is a fairly safe bet that your Mac has NOT been infected by a virus, it may have another security-related problem, but more likely a technical problem unrelated to any malware threat.
You may find this User Tip on Viruses, Trojan Detection and Removal, as well as general Internet Security and Privacy, useful:

The User Tip (which you are welcome to print out and retain for future reference) seeks to offer guidance on the main security threats and how to avoid them.

    Yes yes and yes.
My girlfriend and I use the same AppleID for purchases, and any apps that she purchases I am able to then purchase without additional charges.
