Will the WRT160N run my D-link 108mbps pci card at 108?

Just replaced my DI-624 with the WRT160N V 3 today.  I have a wireless D-Link pci card in my pc that has always run at 108mbps.  With the new router, I'm only able to get 54 out of it.  Whenever I make a change in the setting hit shoots to 108 right before the reset but then it's back to 54g.  Is there a way to make the card run at 108 speed with this router.

Changing the N Transmission Rate other than Auto will disable B/G clients. The wireless settings will be in Wireless-N only mode.
That makes the G not work at all.  SuperG isn't going to either.  About had my fill with this router.  Yeah I know  it's an N router and for max speeds I should get an N card, but there's no reason it shouldn't do what I want it to with what I already have.  That is unless G is pegged to only 54mbps no matter what.  Of course I can't seem to find that information.

Your Mac doesn't run iOS now. iOS is for the iPad, iPod touch and iPhone.
What is it you are trying to accomplish?

  • Will the MacBook run Worms 3D and Unreal Tournament 2004?

I wish to change my current PowerBook for the new MacBook but for one of the things i use my computer the most besides for high school is to play games and i would like to know if the new MacBook will be able to run smoothly this two games.

You should have no issues with those two titles. There have been people that I've seen/heard of running Doom 3 fairly well on the Macbooks. Early benchmarks ran on the Macbooks weren't too promising, but without being able to provide any more in depth info right now, I can say that you should be fine.
Look into reviews on the Intel GMA 950 graphics chipset in general and you'll see that it's not the best out there, but I've run Unreal2k4 on PC's with graphics cards slower yet and much older then the Intel GMA950 integrated solution in the Macbook.
Obviously if you're looking to do highend/higher detail and resolution gaming then the Macbook is probly not for you. It is a decent jump of a good $1000 or so to the baseline 15" Macbook, but it'd be worth it for better gaming in the long run, aside from the other general advantages.

  • Will a 2006 Mac Pro (running Lion) accept a usb3 pcie card?

I have a Mac Pro (2006-running Lion 10.7.5, Build 11G63). Is there any way that it will recognize and accept a USB PCIe Card?

I think you would do find to narrow it down from generic - and yes of course you can, I do on mine and am using Allegro USB3 2-port from Sonnettech.com
Chips change and some people have trouble or it works but not the way that they want or expected.
Check out OWC www.macsales.com and then check for specific cards.

  • D-link ethernet PCI card and "broken" driver

    Hello!
I found a D-link DFE-530+ ethernet PCI adapter card at a local target on clearance for under $10 - so I figured that despite the "Windows" requirement, I'd give it a try on my 400mhz, "Sawtooth" AGP graphics G4. The D-link website for the card says that the card is compatible with Mac OS 10.2+, and has a driver for download. I downloaed the driver and installed it, then installed the PCI card. No luck, Tiger (running on the G4) complains that the "extension" is bad and that I need to uninstall it or download a newer version of the driver - that doesn't exist.
What can I do to make it work, and does a third-party driver exist?
    Thanks,
    -Dan

I didn't try it before installing the D-link drivers, no, but the card isn't even recognized when the D-Link drivers don't load. I'll uninstall the driver and see what happens - I suppose it couldn't hurt!
    Thanks,
    -Dan

Oracle will first check if column EMPID exists in DEPT table.
If it does not, then it checks for the Columns presence in Outer query.
And this happens, because you did not use Table Alias. Had an Alias been used, the column would have been checked only in the Aliased table.
Moreover, you would not lose anything but to check the query on a database, would you?
Easy enough to check this, right?
    create table test_table (col1 number, col2 varchar2(5));
    create table test_table2 (col1 number);
    select *
      from test_table t1
    where col2 in (select col2 from test_table2 t2 where t1.col1 = t2.col1);

  • I'm a pc user, going to enroll in NTU Civil Engineering in SG, I was wondering, can i use an Ipad for my next 4 years? Will the Ipad run AutoCAD? My gf's going for USM pharmacy, can she use an ipad for her course? Both of us would use Office a lot.

Please kindly help me, this might be my first switch to Apple.

No, the iPad is an iOS device, running a lightweight operating system.  It does not run MacOS (which is what you want to run Microsoft Office and AutoCAD) like an iMac, Mac Pro, Mac Mini, MacBook, MacBook Air or MacBook Pro.
Please see the Autodesk System Requirements of AutoCAD for Mac.
I suggest you visit an Apple Store to get your hands on the products for yourselves. The staff is very knowledgeable and will help you find the right solution for your needs.
Edit: Color me surprised, a mobile version! I would check with the Engineering department and see if using the mobile version is suitable or not as it has a limited tool set. I would lean towards a laptop like the other poster above.

iPads do not run OS X.
They run iOS, an operating system designed for mobile devices and entirely seperate from OS X.
iOS 5 comes out in the fall.

  • Will the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series Graphics card be capable of outputting at 2560x1440?

I currently have a dell studio 15 laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 graphics card, i'm planning to upgrade to an iMac with the same 27 inch display as the one in this forum but i was hoping to continue to use this computer and use the iMacs great display as an external monitor whenever i want to use windows, i was wondering if my graphics card supports such a high resolution or not?
    Thanks

Since I'm running Windows 7 Enterprise, I cannot use Windows Update as it is controlled by WSUS. Anyway, after hours of discussing with the IT experts at my workplace, none of them could solve the problem. They even said I can never run my video card again as it is not compatible with Windows 7.
    But I didn't give up.
After hours of figuring out a solution, I decided to download and try out the "ThinkPad Switchable Graphics Driver for Windows 7 - ThinkPad R400, T400, T500, W500" and guessed what? It worked! The Catalyst center was also installed. Who knew it was the Switchable Graphics Driver when the ATI card was the only one shown in Device Manager to be not working.

I hope this works for all of you who had the same problems as me. Cheers!

  • Will the Audigy 2 Value work in a PCI 2.3 slot?

    Thanks

HI dudes. I had a P4M800Pro-M7 Motherboard http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/es/mb/...on.php?S_ID=95 (AGP graphic card port) Where my SB0090 Worked very very fine...
Recently I chaged to a 6627MA-RS2H Foxconn Motherboard (PCI-e graphics) http://www.foxconnchannel.com/Produc...U=en-us0000217 and even the bios or the operative system seems able to see it... The Sb0090 dosent appears any where in the computer... What do you thik it could be? Maybe a voltage jumper?.
My old P4M800 motherboard used to drive a MotuPCI-324 sound card... but this new Foxconn is unable to drive that card too... Thank you very much if you can helpme at least to untherstand the situation.
For certain reason I piked up an old old Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) wich actually works with the new foxconn motherboard but the foxconn is still unable to see the SB0090 :-( I even try to put the Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) and the SB0090 in parallel. Thank you

  • Job running, when will the next scheduled one start?

    Hi all,
When I schedule a job every 3 minutes and the previous one has not finished, when will the next run start?
Is it immidiatly after the previous run ends? Or at a given time? (f.e.: 6.30 -> run 6.33 -> skiped because the 6.30 job is still running 6.36 -> last job has stopped so it's oké to start this one) Or at the initial 3 minute interval counting since the last job ended? (f.e.: 6.30 -> run, job ends at 6.34, next job at 6.37)
    Thanx...

I know this has been answered better somewhere in this forum but I can't find it right now so here is a quick answer to your questions.
Assumption: You have set the scheduler to run a job every 3 minutes starting at 6:30 today.
The scheduler uses that information to determine that the job should run at 6:30, 6:33, 6:36, 6:39, etc. The Scheduler will only have one running occurrence of your job so you do not have to worry about it running concurrently. If the first run at 6:30 takes 4 minutes, when it finishes at 6:34, the Scheduler will immediately start up the 6:33 scheduled job and have it run. If instead, the first run at 6:30 takes 7 minutes, the Scheduler will skip the 6:33 run and run the 6:36 schedule instead.
You can also say that if a job is "x" time units late, do not run it. This can be done via the schedule_limit attribute, set via DBMS_SCHEDULER.SET_ATTRIBUTE. For the example, you could set it to 2 minutes and if the first run takes 5 minutes, the 6:33 run will be skipped and the Scheduler will wait till 6:36 to run the next occurrence.

  • Will C6 Extended run on Win XP?

Hi, I am thinking of purchasing Adobe Photoshop C6 EXTENDED. However, I have an older computer running Windows XP, with an older graphics card (Nvidia 7600 GS). Will the program run on my machine? Especially its 3-D capability?
    Thank you for the help.

    Chris Cox wrote:
It will run, but none of the GPU features (including 3D) will work…
Is there a listing or description of what all those "GPU features" are? It would be of great interest to all of us who are stuck—temporarily or permanently—on such unsupported systems, regardless of platform.
