Window Calendar

How do you sync a Windows Calendar to the Original iphone as it tells me "No supported calendar application can be found" Many thanks Karan

Windows Calendar is not a supported app for calendar sync. MS Outlook is your only option in Windows (although you might consider Google calendar, instead).

  • How can I sync my device calendar with the Windows Calendar on Vista?

    Hello,
I have just got a PC running Vista (without Outlook) and am using the Windows Calendar and Addressbook. I seem to be able to sync the addressbooks, but my Blackberry Desktop isn't recognising the Windows Calendar application to allow me to sync that. Can this be fixed, or do I need to shell out of Outlook instead?
Thanks to anyone who can help me on this one,
    Duncan

    as seen on http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/#tab_tab_sysreq
Windows Vista Calendar is not compatible with the blackBerry calendar.
you will either have to use the ones listed, or use Google Calendar as a middleware and use Google Mobile sync to have realtime wireless synchronization.

  • Syncing iphone calendar with windows calendar

I am trying to sync my iphone calendar with my windows calendar, but in itunes under info and "sync calendars with", it only gives me the option to sync with outlook. Any help would be appreciated.

    Allan Sampson wrote:
Microsoft copied Google and now supports accessing a Hotmail or Windows Live Mail account as an Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail app. This provides Push access for received messages and for syncing contacts and calendar events over the air with the account on your iPhone.
For syncing calendar events direct with an application on your computer via the iTunes sync process, you need Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010.
I understand your second statement about the needing Outlook - but I'm trying to reconcile it with your first paragraph - there is support for calendar events over the air between Windows Live and iPhone? So it can be done, just not physically through syncing via iTunes?

  • Syncronizing to Vista windows Calendar & contacts

    Hi,
I am trying to set up syncronization between Vista Windows Calendar and Contacts with my Blackberry. These programs came with Vista. I can not afford Outlook, but I need a calendar and contact program on my computer.
I go to configuration > configuration Synchronization settings>
Then what do I do? I tried selecting ASCII Importer/Export but the next step asked me to link to a file, and I don't have a clue what to link to?
gthe other choice was yahoo and I have comcast mail.
    Someone please help? Any suggestions?

Hey... if you have the NEWEST bb software all you have to do is
    1) Connect your device
    2) Go to the organizer tab
3)Click address book and only address book for now and click configure settings
4)Click on address book and click SETUP
    5)  Click on Windows ( what ever operating system you have) and click next.
    6) Do the one way sync
    7) Click Finish
    8) Once clicked finished it will bring you back to the screen of 4 options. Click cancel and yes.
    9) at the bottom of the screen click, SYNC. Your windows contacts should be synced.
It did this for me... I have bb torch 9800. If you need help email me at [email protected]

  • Using Vista Windows Calendar

Is it possible to use Vista Windows Calendar and sync with the Curve?

I have the same problem. In another forum I saw that someone had asked RIM about this and RIM told them they had not had the time to config Blackberry software for Vista Calendar as MS had notified them too late about Vista. They said they were working on this (as of August 07 if I remember correctly?). Since then nothing....I wonder if they still have plans to add the Vista Calendar sync options. Anybody knows?

  • Sync Windows-Calendar with BB 9900 on Win 7

    Hello forum,
as the topic says I'm searching for a way to sync my BB 9900 via BB Desktop Manager with the Windows-Calendar (known from Windows Vista) on Windows 7.
The article http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB12268 says that the BB Desktop Manager 6.1 should even support Windows-Calendar on Windows 7.
So i transferred the Windows-Calendar program files from a Vista installation to my Win7 installation and also added the registry entries after exporting them from the Vista installation (There are tutorials on the web how to do this).
But still the BB Desktop Manager does not recognize the Windows-Calendar on my Win7 machine even when running in Windows Vista compatibility mode. I also tried the version 7.1 of the BB Desktop Manager.
Can somebody tell me what the requirements are (registry entries, ini files, settings, ...) so that the BB Desktop Manager recognizes the Windows-Calendar application?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
    JackBlerry

Did it and this is the final output :
    Elapsed Time: 00 00:00:00
    Done:       13, Modified       13, Failed        0, Syntax errors        0
    Last Done  : C:\Windows\SysWow64\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32_11_4_402_265.dll
    =========================
    Finished.
    =========================
Press any key to continue . . .
I will have to wait for the next available update and see if this works. I will update this post once that happens.
Please note that several of the registry keys mentioned in the batch file are not present in my registry. I did not verify all the resources mentioned there. I have copied the complete output and I can pass it on if it can be of any use.

  • Windows Calendar (Vista) Does Not Synchronize with BB Desktop

Windows Calendar is not one of the available configuration choices to synchronize with under either BB Desktop Manager V 4.2SP2 or V4.3.
When I purchased my phone I was told that it was compatible with Vista.  I do not want to have to purchase either Outlook or Office just to get my phone and personal calendars synchronized. Is there a way to syncronize Windows Calendar? I do not want to have ti deal with ASCII sharing, or be forced to purchase another calendar program.

  • Move calendar info FROM iphone TO windows calendar

Apologies if this has been answered. I've spent ages googling and searching here, but I can't seem to find an exact answer.
Although I may be the exception to the rule:
    1. I do not want all of my windows mail contacts in my iphone (2nd gen). Therefore those have been input manually.
I did take the time to set up my 2009 calendar ON MY IPHONE. My windows calendar (vista home premium) has not been used.
It is possible to moe my calendar info TO WINDOWS CALENDAR from the IPHONE? I can see syncing info, but it seems to override the phone, and on music etc...not the calendar.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

If she can't, it's a pretty sad statement about interoperability of Google's products.
Take a look at the help pages at http://www.google.com/calendar.
This really doesn't have anything to do with the iPhone.

  • Windows Calendar?

Nope, not at this time. Maybe in a future iOS release.

  • Synchronizing Windows Calendar

I have a BB 8703e. My work computer runs Windows Vista. I can't figure out how to sync with BB with the Windows Calendar...Can someone help?

    Hi,
I just found that the default settings for the blackberry do not include synching either the calendar or the task list.
In the synchronization options you can change those settings to include synching those items, but they are hidden in there somewhere.
I can tell you at a later time exactly where to find it if you cannot locate the settings.

EDIT:- After more research, is my problem that I'm trying to use windows calendar and that I should be using Outlook?
Message Edited by lulu34 on 02-07-2009 12:59 PM
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Hi lulu34 and welcome to the Blackberry Forums
You can't sync the windows Calendar with the BB Calendar.
You'll have to go through a third party calendar, like Google Calendar.
    1) sync win cal with gcal
    2) sync gcal with bbcal with Google Mobile Sync.
If I help you with any inquire, thank you for click kudos in my post.
If your issue has been solved, please mark the post was solved.
