Window of Browzer (Not of Forms 6i)

Hi Fellows,
I developed a form. I have called it from the browser. The problem is that all of Forms window appear in that browser. I dont want that window. Can any one help me in this.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

If you want your application to run outside of the browswer window, you must add this line to the formsweb.cfg for the forms server.
separateFrame=TRUE
You will have to restart the formserver for the change to take effect.
This will leave you with ann app window, plus an empty browswer window. I am researching how to rid myself of the browser window completely. If you find an answer, please post it here!

I have encountered an issue whose possible resolution i am not able to meet.
The issue is like this :
While performing MIGO for the Return Delivery user is successfully getting the maerial document number . But when user trying to perfor /n or anyother transaction following message is appearing (Note: For Good Receipt user is not getting any message)
SAPoffice info.

Here i am getting error information for that particular function module that Window RUEKOPF is not defined for form ZWESCHEINV3.

The single test (ctrlshftF9) in Sm13 of that particular function module shows the following error message

After going through the help text of the above error message I have found following
Diagnosis
The specified window is not defined in the form
I have checked the form ZWESCHEINV3 in SE71. The window RUEKOPF is present over there.
So what might be the reason for getting this error and what approach we should take to resolve this.

Symptom
When you print a collective slip for areturn delivery, the update
terminates in function module RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE. *The error message is TD*
*427.*
But if you check my case

So I would like to know how far this ossnote will helpout to resolve issue like my case

How to open a new window that's not a page

can you create a hyperlink, let's say from a photo of a person, that opens in a seperate window which is not another page?
if that's not possible, can you create the same hyperlink, and have it open as a new page, but not have the page listed as it's own button. meaning it is invisible unless you navigate from the page with the photo/hyperlink?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).<br />

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.<br />

Folder appears in Windows Explorer, but not in the Open File dialog

Hello,
I hope this is the right place to post this. If not, please let me know where is.
A friend just showed me a weird problem he is having with his computer. He is using Windows 7 pro, and has a folder under My Documents, in which he keeps his work files. He emails these files using Gmail, which he accesses via Internet Explorer.
All worked fine until a few days ago, when he noticed that when he clicked the link in Gmail to attach a file, his folder wasn't listed in the Open File dialog. He looked in Windows Explorer, and could see the folder OK. I tried opening Word and using the Open
File dialog there, and the folder wasn't visible.
If he clicks in the address bar, and adds the folder name to the path, it opens the folder, but shows it as empty. I actually has two subfolders. If he adds the name of a subfolder, then the Open File dialog shows the files in that folder.
I checked the permissions on the folder, and couldn't see anything odd. What I don't understand is how the folder can be visible in Windows Explorer, and not in the Open File dialog.

I can confirm - I'm having the exact same problem.
When I try to lookup or save a file from an IE file dialog some folders do not show up. I can type the folder name into the directory field and it then goes there, but this assumes you know the directory name and it's a PITB.
Firefox can browse to the directory directly.
It would be interesting if anyone else found a fix for this - I'll post here again if I find out more somewhere else, but there are not too many threads out there as far as I have found for now.
Found a solution over at answers at Microsoft dot com. (can post links here yet - will update once I can)
In short: There's a fast fix for this issue by resetting a hidden flag that IE sets for some folders. I believe this part of the "protected mode" feature, though I can't confirm and also have no idea how this would protect me from any intruders,
if only (unimportant) subfolders are protected ...
Anyway - if you know the name of the missing folder (e.g. from browsing the directories form windows explorer): in the parent directory that has the folder missing do a Search (in box at top right) for the missing
folder name. In my case the hidden folder shows up in the search - now right click -> Properties -> clear hidden flag. Note: this "hidden" flag is independent of the flags set in windows explorer - that's why you have trouble going there with IE and not
the file explorer from the desktop.

Firefox w/ not open forms from websites. Internet Explorer had no problem. Re-installed FF with no resolution.

Firefox will not open forms (i.e. registration forms, class schedule, flyer, etc.) on certain websites. Updated Adobe Reader and Re-installed and updated FF. Still will not open the forms. Tried Internet Explorer with no problem at all. Tried FF on a different computer w/ no problem. Help please?

I also have this problem. I cannot open links from a discussion board I frequent nor can I open links from my email. Also after opening my email, I cannot go to any other sites except my home page. I can then go no where else.
When I close Firefox and try to reopen it, it does nothing! I have to bring up the Task Manager and end the Firefox process before I can get back in.
To the best of my knowledge, this problem started with the new update to Ver. 3.6.9. I am running Windows XP Media Center 2005

Got "Reponse is not well-formed XML" error when calling FormDataIntegration web service

Hi,
I'm using Windows Server 2008 + LiveCycle Server ES2 (Reader Extensions) + ASP.NET
This problem only happened when I run the ASP.NET program with the licensed version of the server, (which i installed form the CD provided)
However, there is no problem in my development environment with the trial version downloaded from Adobe website, the import data was successful and a correct PDF form can be returned.
My question is that whether there is a problem within the LiveCycle services? or there is missing component that needs to be installed?? Thanks

Help...How to Play Video and Auido using windows media player in developer forms?

I am using the Windows NT workstation and Oracle Forms6i, I want to know how to use window media player in oracle forms? I have insert an OLE object and add Windows media player as an control object, but I don't know how to play the audio and video.
I always have this error...why?? How can I solve this??

Address bar should not show form path

i have deployed application server 6i. When i login on some form through web.The login form path also displays on address bar. I want that address bar should not display on top either or not display form path.Do i have to configure application server for that or some other . Please give me solution

What do you mean by the login form path.
Could you perhaps post an example of the URL and indicate which part of the URL worries you? Or is it the fact that the URL itself is displayed? If it's the latter, then you will have to open the browser window from a link using a little bit of javascript to open a new window without address bar (and perhaps menu bar, status bar, etc). Just google for "javascript new window popup"

DI Webservice - Response not well-formed XML & OBServer.dll failed extract

Hi,
My company just implement SAP B1 this year.
So far, we encounter 2 issue :
1. Every month we encounter "Response is not well-formed XML" using DI Server Webservice.
2. Failed to extract OBServer.dll from CAB file (encounter also once a month)
For issue 1, restart DI Server service will not help.
I need to reboot the Windows OS to make it work again.
For issue 2, restart DI Server service will help to solve the problem.
But the question why this happening ?

I would say there is a great deal of doubt about that, especially since the subject of this thread, which you stated was the error message from FireFox is that the document is not well formed at all. As BalusC said - run the JSP producing the xml.
Save that xml to a file - INCLUDING any white space - because thats what you actually get.
Open that xml file in your browser - it should tell you at that point if your xml is well formed.
AS BalusC said this is better done in a servlet - especially since you're just doing out.println.
JSPs add extra whitespace and carriage returns. While that won't necessarily break XML, it can cause problems with the first few characters.

XML Parsing Error: not well-formed Help!

Are you sure the parameters are passed correctly to data template?
Can you try hardcoding the org and vendor details in query and try running the conc pgm again?
Also validate if that query return records...
