Window title -using parameter

i am wondering how i can change the window title using the parameters that i pass to this particular form.
I would like for my window title be something like:
Edit Site: :parameter.fac for :parameter.date

It is not clear on which Operating system you are running your forms. If it is Windows then if you are trying to set 'TITLE' for the main window (In windows forms run inside MDI Application Window)
Then use
Set_Window_Property(FORMS_MDI_WINDOW,TITLE, Edit Site: ||:parameter.fac|| for ||:parameter.date );
And it should work.

Yes, I tried that, but <cfdocument> replaces any content that I add. I cannot view the source for the page, but at least according to FireBug, when I view the page contents, I get:

Any pitfalls in using parameter driven views ?

I suppose the exec dbms_application_info.set_client_info('xxxx') will remain active only for the session and will be cleaned up at the end of the session.
I am working on oracle 9i.

I'm not sure what the title-- using parameter driven views-- has to do with the DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO package...
The information that DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO sets is at a session level. Once the session ends, that data disappears.
If you are trying to build a parameter driven view, however, you're better off using application contexts.

Question about Setting Window Title/the use of AVWindowSetTitle()

Hi everyone,
I have a question about setting the title of the window in which the Acrobat viewer normally opens a PDF file. The documentation states that AVWindowSetTitle() cannot be used in this case. However, using it has worked with versions of Acrobat/Reader up until and including version 8.
Everything breaks down starting with Acrobat 9.
According to the documentation I am supposed to do the following: "To set the title of a window in which the Acrobat viewer opens a PDF file, you must replace AVDocOpenFromASFileWithParams() and pass the window title in tempTitle."
Unfortunately, there are 2 problems I have with this approach:
     I do need to be able to change the document title on document Save, not only on document Open
     I do not know what AVDocOpenFromASFileWithParams() implementation has to look like if I have to replace it using HFTReplaceEntry().
Is there a sample customized implementation of AVDocOpenFromASFileWithParams() somewhere that I could take a look at?
Is there a way to change a document Title inside Acrobat/Reader window after a Save operation?

     I am sorry. I don't know how you tested this and came to conclusion that this works correctly in Acrobat X.
     I just tested our Acrobat plug-in with a trial version of Acrobat X and this did not work.
     When we open a file in Acrobat (doing it ourselves in the plug-in by adding another specialized open) we set the window title to something different from the default file name. Then if a file gets edited and saved (File->Save), the window title gets reset to the file name. In the PDDocDidSave callback we call AVWindowSetTitle() to set it back to a more descriptive window title we need. This has worked up until and including Acrobat 8, but does not work in either version 9.0 or 10.0.
     Also, I just modified the plug-in code to always change the Window Title of every document (even if opened through native File->Open) on document Save. It does not work.
     Please help,

Click on it, choose Get Info from the File menu, and check the format.
If it's formatted as NTFS, reformat it as MS-DOS, exFAT, or Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as desired, or install software such as Paragon NTFS on the computer.
If it's formatted as FAT32 or exFAT, use the Disk Utility's Repair Disk command on it; this may also happen for a flash drive which is about to fail.
If it's formatted as Mac OS Extended, click Authenticate and provide your administrator password, or change the permissions on that specific folder in its Get Info window.

Window.open() will open separated windows even using the same window name?

Hi, I have below two test html pages as below(could not find a way to insert a attachment, so paste the content below). The reproduce step is as below: (My environment is Win8.1 with IE11)
1. Open print_test.html page in IE, here we call page1.
2. Click "File -> New Session" menu from IE menu bar, which will open another new IE window which display another " print_test.html" page, here we call page 2.
3. Click "Print" hyper-link in page1, and a popup window which display "print_test_open.html" page, counting begins from 1, here we call it page 3.
4. Click "Print" hyper-link in page2, and another popup window which display "print_test_open.html" page, counting begins from 1, here we call it page 4.
However, the behavior above is totally different on my Win7 (64 bit) with IE 10, which is in step 4, when I click "Print" hyper-link in page2, instead of open a new popup window, the window for page 3 will be reused and counting will restart from

I googled and know from MDN for window.open() and get below information to indicate that in my test pages, I use the same window name, so that the existed window with the same name will be reused is as expected, but however, why IE behave differently in
Win8.1 with IE 11? Why the existed window could not be reused anymore?

The behavior in Win8.1 + IE 11 is similar with what Google Chrome does, and Chrome's explanation is that two separated window using separated processes which do no share information, so that even using the same window name. twp separated windows will
popup.. So I am confused here, IE 10 and IE 11 are both using multi-process mechanism right? I saw from the Windows Task Manager, when using "File -> New Session" to open another print_test.html page in step 2. both IE 10 and IE 11 are opening
4 iexplore.exe processes, two of them are 64 bit, and two of them are 32 bit. I can't see any configuration difference between these two envs, but why the behavior is so different?

Oh, btw, another colleague can reproduce the issue (open separated windows even using the same window name) in his Win7 64 bit with IE 10 env, but could not reproduce in his Win 32 bit with IE 10 env... Hope this information could also do help.

please try in noAddons mode and with the IE Popup blocker turned off. Also ensure you are using the default IE Security zone settings. Internet Options>Security tab, click "Reset all zones to default"
To debug your scripts in IE11.
Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, check "Always record developer console messages".

Personal customisation of page title using liquid

Hello all,
I am looking to customise the title of the webpage so that the top of the browser window will be personalised based on a parameter passed through the url.
I am trying this:

When I insert it into the <head> portion and update the page, the whole chunk will move to the body automatically.
When I run the liquid script in the body the output is fine.
So my question is, how do i change the page title using liquid? Or is there another way to do so if liquid is not needed/recommended?

So this content here is inside the html file that I have which I am going to use as the custom page for displaying the listing. I'm extracting the ID through the URL, then searching through the webapp list for the specific item, then extracting the information from that item.
I can extract those information easily, however I want to make use of the name of that item and modify the page title which will change the browser page name. However when i do it in the above method, the browser will display {{listing.name}} in the first method and {{pagetitle}} in the second.
I'm wondering if i am doing this correctly, or is there an easier way to do whatever I'm doing?

Rather than reading from T001, you can just use the "message" verb to get the content and variable substitution done for you... so this may help:

How to read browser(window) title in jsp?

Hi,
I need to read/find window title in my jsp code. Is there any method/way using which I can find window title?
I can read it in javascript using window.document.title but as we know that we can not use javascript inside jsp, I am not able to use this method.

Is your decision based upon the title of the page you are generating or the title of the page you have just come from?
In either case, basing logic off of a window title sounds like a potential for trouble to me.
If you want to make a decision, then send a parameter for the web application to react to.
You can't get the window.title of the previous page.
You are generating the current page, so you should already KNOW what the title of that page is right? You just printed it!
Potential alternatives which are roughly equivalent:
request.getHeader("referer") gets the url of the page that sent you to this one
request.getRequestURI gets the jsp being currently executed.
request.getAttribute("javax.servlet.forward.request_uri") will get you the original uri that was requested (assuming the page has been forwarded)

The id you obtained from xprop is the WM_CLIENT_LEADER, also listed in the WM_HINTS as the group leader. So that appears to be something like a root window for Firefox, not necessarily the one you see (with the title you want).

Hi for past 3 days i was thinking and breaking my head on how to add entire new at top table created in pdf report from c# windows forms with iTextSharp.
First: I was able to create/export sql server data in form of table in pdf report from c# windows forms. Given below is the code in c#.

The code executes well with no problem and get all datas from tables into table in PDF report from c# windows forms.
But here is my problem how can i align Title(DCS Clinical Report-Technician wise) center of pdf report with image named:logo5.png immediately coming to it's right?.
As the problem i am facing is my title or Header(DCS Clinical Report-Technician wise) is at top of my image named:logo5.png and not coming to it's center position of my image.
Second the problem i am facing is how to add new entire row to top of existing table in pdf report from c# windows form using iTextSharp?.
given in below is the row and it's data . So how do i add the given below row and it's data to my top my table in pdf report from c# windows forms using itextsharp?

I’m sorry for the issue that you are hitting now.
This itextsharp is third party control, for this issue, I recommended to consult the control provider directly, I think they can give more precise troubleshooting.

I have a form and I call a report from this form.I have passed some parameters to this report.Before the browser of reports appear the window of Runtime Parameter Form.I want to hide this window of Runtime Parameter Form but I don't know how.

When calling the report, set the property PARAMFORM to NO. IF you using parameter list to pass values to report you can do as follows:
ADD_PARAMETER(pl_id,'PARAMFORM',TEXT_PARAMETER,'NO');
