Windows 2003 server scheduled tasks not work properly. Please help.

I created a couple of windows shell scripting programs. When I call them from command line, it works well. Then I use Task Scheduler to schedule them to be run daily. The strange thing is: If I log into server and open Task Scheduler window. The scheduled tasks will run automatically and execute with result code 0x0. It works well. However, if I just set up Task Scheduler and log out of the server, the scheduled works will not run with result code 0x80. Here is the log info

 Result: The task completed with an exit code of (80).
I used windows adminstrator account, not system account to schedule the work. I changed scheduled work to be run by my admin account, not by system account. Please advise me where is the problem and how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

According to your description, I understand that your scheduled task did not run when the user is not logged in the system.
Please go to the services.msc and select the "task Scheduler" service, double-click it and go to "Log On" page, enable the option "allow service to interact with desktop" and test the result.

    Hello,
    I tried "Edit" the GTC connector and "SAVE" the connector back without doing any editing. I hope that will not cause any difference in the deployed corresponding GTC schedule task which used to work earlier.
    Anyways, i also checked the trusted source database and populated some new values in there and tried reconciling again (incremental reconciliation configured). Surprisingly i see some new error in the logs. Is this because of the unnecessary "Edit" operation i performed ?

  • Display not working Properly please help???

    Hey all I have read thru about 25 pages of different posts relating to the video screen problem, and none see to be exactly like mine. I have 1st genereation IMAC G5, that had the orginally logic board problem where screen wouldnt come on at all, i got it fixed once under apple care warranty, then i had another problem where system kept crashing causing automatic restart which apple store genuis bar said was also logic board, this time i was out of applecare coverage but, i got ot covered thru the extension program that just ended in dec '08. Last week when i got home my screen was off, i restarted by holding pwer button down, then i got partial screen( only dock bar items, prgrams, & etc where showing, no desktop files), so i restarted again and got this strange pixeliate screen after loading(see image: http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s183/nofate21/Picture001.jpg), so i rrestarted know during loading process I get normal apple logo, but with horizontal pink lines running thru screen at variables( see image:http://s152.photobucket.com/albums/s183/nofate21/?action=view&current=Picture003 .jpg & also http://s152.photobucket.com/albums/s183/nofate21/?action=view&current=Picture003 .jpg). Now it varies when i restart CPU, sometimes I get completely black screens, sometimes i get blue screen with nothing, and the last couple of times I get a black scrren with a mouse cursor that moves normally. i have also tried restarting while hook-up to external display(my lcd TV) and I get same image (although minus the intermittent/variable horizontal pink lines), please help with any suggestion or even advice( such as trash it, try to fix with ordered parts, etc) Have appt with genuis bar, but already know the will say $800-1000 for new logic board or whatever

    I am part of the unlucky ones who didnt't have applecare or the extended warranty. My iMac broke down 8 months ago. I no longer have any display. The strange thing was I left it at home because I went to uni, so there was a period of at least 10 months where it was not used. But still it failed within a few weeks of me getting back home. I was sucked in by their adverts making me believe they were a superior computer to any windows based. How wrong was I. It has now left me with a very bitter taste.
    Any of you guys know if it still will work if I connect an external monitor?

    Since I upgraded to version 8.02 on my iPad2 Safari and Google Chrome do not work beyond displaying a series of websites.
    When I want to enter a website they do not respond .
    Can anyone tell me what I can do about this?

    Try some basic troubleshooting:
    (A) Try reset iPad
    Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
    (B) Try reset all settings
    Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
    (C) Setup as new (data will be lost)
    Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

  • Quartz Scheduled Application not working. Please help...

    Hi All,
    I have deployed a WAR file which has implemented Quartz Scheduler to run a job.
    There were no errors in the whitelist scan, but while deploying I found an error in the server log as shown below
    "BEA-000903 [Net]" "Incident Error"
    I could not make out what the error was, but I am using a listener class to run the scheduler as below in my web.xml.

    </listener>
    Can anyone please advice??

    Can you please check your service logs to see what errors are reported in the logs. The Logs can be accessed using Java Service Console,

  • Freeze Frame Does Not Work Properly Please help

    I have a sequence that will be cut into a master sequence consisting of six video tracks. When I invoke the Freeze Frame command, the resulting freeze frame only has the video from the bottom track (V1). This happens no matter where the playhead is when I select Freeze Frame. Even after rendering the sequence a Freeze Frame will only contain the video from the bottom track. Why???

    The Freeze Frame function targets the bottom most track with the AUTOSELECT button active. Autoselect is the gray box to the right of V1, V2, etc.
    Are all your video tracks composited so that they are all visible at once? Then try nesting them, THEN making the freeze frame.

    This is boot camp problem, because in other normal notebooks (e.g. SONY VAIO, Lenovo with Windows 7) the gadgets are working normally.

    You are not addressing Apple, but a community of unpaid volunteers. So ASAP won't cut it. Also, you should refrain from posting personal information (like your email address) in the body of your comments, as this is part of the community usage guidelines.
    Have you reinstalled the latest Boot Camp Windows 7 drivers, just in case Microsoft overwrote some of them during the Windows 7 security update?
    If you want to communicate issues with Apple about Boot Camp and OS X, click on the link. Just don't hold your breath on receiving a response.

  • Application Toolbar Not Working Properly. Help!

    I'm having an issue with my Mac. The toolbars and other areas of each window in each program are not working properly. There is a bunch of random apples in place of certain buttons. Its hard to explain exactly what is going on so I've attached a couple screen shots of what I'm talking about. Does anyone know whats going on or how to go back to the default settings? I'm using Mac OS X 10.7.2 Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I downloaded Photoshop Elements 12 to work on my new platform Windows 7. It does not work properly. Specifically my problem is that I can only load one picture at a time onto the work area even if I have chosen two separate pictures. In other words I can not cut and paste not can I join pictures together.
    If I load the program on my older computer with WindowsXP it works fine.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    You have probably forgotten. In recent versions of PSE you must go to the edit>preferences>general and turn on Allow Floating Documents.

  • Organizer not working properly, please advise.

    The organizer imported all the thumbnails of my photos from my photo file but when i go to open that photo up it cant connect or find it. it does a "search" but its not found. i know my photos are there because i can open them directly from the photo file when i clich "Open with Elements Editor". I tried uninstalling /reinstalling, makingf sure no other programs are running. I would like to the Organizer as it is advertised. Any suggestions???? Thanks sara

  • Ever since the last IOS update, my Iphone 5c has been acting weird. The time is always off; It says that its 9:30 in the morning when it's actually 2pm. I try to fix it, but it just goes back to not working. Please help!!

    I go to settings and switch "Automatic time" off and then back on. It works for a while, but then just goes back to being off. I've tried manually setting the time, but it just goes back to what it was before. If I send a text, it sends and then disapears. I can't see what I wrote!     It's not hacker or a virus. You are experiencing what a number of users of iOS 5 are experiencing now - sluggish or less than perfect iPad performance. It seems that for some of us - memory management has gotten a little out of whack with this most recent update. Some of the basic troubleshooting steps that you can try are ....
    Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    Close apps in the recents tray. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    If you have Safari crashing issues - Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    None of these steps should be necessary as part of your daily routine - the iOS is supposed to handle all of this without any user input. Once again - for some of us - the iOS is letting us down.
    Until Apple releases another update that resolves this issue for the "few" that suffer, keep these steps in mind and use them as needed.
