For most repairs, the PC will be returned with the Windows 8 operating system intact. However, if the system repair requires, for example, a new PC hard drive, then a re-image of the PC will be required, and the original shipping operating system will be re-installed

Just to avoid confusion - during provisioning, the phone is downloading a configuration from remote server. Phone is client. Provisioning process require a server (HTTP or FTP or TFTP) running somewhere.
You are speaking about browser, not server, so it seems you are speaking about manual configuration of phone, not the provisioning. Even in the case you are speaking about server, you speaking about upgrade of OS, not the provisioning (HTTP/FTP/TFTP) server software. On the other side, you are speaking about "initial profile downloads from Windows 7" asking about browser versions. I'm confused. Can you explain what are you trying to do in more details ?
Something like: "I did A, expecting B as result but C happened".
Debug/log from phone device and/or catched communication between browser and phone and/or phone and provisioning server may help to analyze the problem.

I have the Februrary 2008 macbook. I bought it about a week ago off someone on gumtree. It hadn't been restored so i figured the grey installation ones would work. After erasing the content on the hard drive i inserted disk 1. After then selecting what language it popped up saying 'OS X cannot be installed on this computer.' After looking at the grey disk again it said 2007 so i'm guessing it was the wrong one. Anyway i was wondering if i just buy an operating system off Apple would i be able to install it correctly? As i searched in the nokia offical website, the N95 8GB device is with a system of S60 3rd edition, Feature Pack 1 .
And, up to now, the most threat to smart phones ,the virous are convoied by the blue teeth transfering.If you keep an eye on your phone when reciving files or pairing your Blue teeth device, you may not have to use a anti-virus software so far.
And using the phone to brows the Internet might not have any trouble about virous, cuz the computer virus is total different from the Phone virus.
Of course, before you install a software, please confirm is safe.

SharePoint 2007 performance issue after upgrading the operating system

We upgraded the operating system of our SharePoint Server 2007 from 2003 to 2008 R2. After upgrade we rebuilt the SharePoint using content DBs we backed up before upgrade. All settings is same except that we moved the DBs to new SQL servers. Now users are
reporting performance issue with sites. I experienced it myself some of the pages takes 9-30 seconds to load. Also our SharePoint server is single server. I monitored the SharePoint Server and it is fine. I did fiddler trace and here are the result. I see
lots of 401 (login failed) errors then 302 (redirect) then 200 (OK). Do you know why we are getting 401 errors?

when you request a Site collection (http://domain/) or a Site (http://domain/foo/) of your Publishing Site you get redirected to the http://domain/Pages/<WelcomePage>.aspx. SharePoint 2007 uses the 302 header (location temporarily moved) for
this purpose. Surprisingly even WSS uses the 302 header to redirect a root url to the default.aspx. In comparison ASP.NET uses an internal redirect to render the default page when the root url requested: there is no redirect in this situation.

my copy of 4.1.2 appears to work under 10.6.8, though i have not done extensive tests
