Windows L&F Not Working in .jar

Question

Hiya, I've written a Swing application that uses the following code to set the look and feel of the Swing interface:
try {
UIManager.setLookAndFeel( UIManager.getSystemLookAndFeelClassName()  );
}catch (Exception ex) {
     ex.printStackTrace();
}I'm running Windows XP and I am programming in the Netbeans IDE. When I run the application from Netbeans, the interface resembles the Windows XP interface as it should. However, if I compile the application into a .JAR file and run the .JAR, the look and feel looks like the default Swing look and feel. Here are some screenshots:

Any clues as to what's going wrong? I don't understand why the L&F doesn't get set when it's run from a .jar. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

I have a similar problem: on my machine my application comes up correctly with the windows xp look and feel, but if I install it on some other machines (also running windows xp), it comes up with the old windows look and feel.. No idea what's happening -- any clues would be greatly appreciated!
