[Windows] [Mac OS X] Context3DProfile.STANDARD_EXTENDED profile don't work

Here is the bugbase ticked: Bug#3953317 - [Windows] [Mac OS X] Context3DProfile.STANDARD_EXTENDED profile don't work
Trying to request Context3D with Context3DProfile.STANDARD_EXTENDED profile throws "Error #2008: Parameter profile must be one of the accepted values" error on desktop systems (Windows and Mac OS X). Doesn't matter if you use requestContext3D or requestContext3DMatchingProfiles method, both don't work if you try to request Context3DProfile.STANDARD_EXTENDED.
It has been tested with AIR 17.0.0.124 on Windows 7 & 8.1 x64 and Mac OS X Yosemite. Same problem in all cases. It works fine with Android and iOS.
I'd like to ask everyone affected by this issue to take a minute and vote for the following bug.

Sorry if this wasn't clear in the release notes. We implemented mobile first but we're definitely working on getting this into an upcoming beta for desktop platforms (AIR and Flash Player).

Mac OS X: my arrow keys don't work in swf

When I run a flash application in a browser, the arrow keys
do not work. The space bar works, but no arrows. This is affecting
games, mostly.
I using 10.4.10, Safari 3.0.3, Flash 9,0,64,0
What can I do to diagnose/fix this issue?

When my Mac goes to sleep, and i wake it up later, the speakers don't work AFTER it is woken up. You can't hear anything at all.

I just downloaded Yosemite OS for mac and Premier pro play buttons don't work in the Program, Source and timeline and no audio HELP?

Yosemite OS seem so not allow me to use premier pro. Specifically the play buttons don't work in the source, program and Timeline. Any one have this problem?

I´ve got the same problem, that since i upgrade to Yosemite, my R3D Video Files are not longer supported, sometimes it works but most of time it says "not supported File format".. Hope Adobe will fix it.
Play button works. Try installing the latest Java 8 update. This might fix some problems.

Mac laptop (OS X) trackpad functions don't work since I installed new firefox (but works on Safari)

You don't have to disable any addons or extentions!!!You guys are not going to believe this I figured out the problem it's really dumb...ok here goes the attachment uploader loads seperate so I got to thinking it's a popup so I went to options content and under block pop ups there is an option exceptions click on that and in the box type firefox.com and hit allow pow its fixed!!!!! :-)

X230t and Windows 8 - tablet rotate and control buttons don't work

I am the proud owner of a new x230 tablet and I couldn't resist the tempation to load up Windows 8 on it. Overall I have found the operating system to work fairly well on the system as installed "out of the box"; however, I have noticed that when the computer is put in tablet mode the screen doesn't rotate, even if the rotate hardware button is pressed. Has anyone else encountered this and if so is there a solution other then waiting for the official release of the operating system and windows 8 certified drivers.

I have adobe acrobat 6.0 and windows 7.0 professional...they don't work together

As Acrobat 6 is a pretty older version and it will surely not work with windows 7 .
There is no possible way to make them run together .Either you need upgrade your Acrobat version that is compatible with windows 7 or downgrade your OS if you want to stick to Acrobat ^ .
However I would recommend you to upgrade to the latest Acrobat DC ,that is the latest version Adobe has launched and is compatible with the OS you use.
Also ,it is loaded with new features that will simplify your work and make it convenient .

OJVM/Profiler don't work

I have problems using JDeveloper Profiler (in Version 9031) because my Application doesn't start with OJVM. The Exception I always get is

Hi Christophe,
I tried to start the application from JDeveloper IDE, I didn't try to profile the application, just to start it. When I changed the settings in Project Settings/Runner/Virtual Machine to "hotspot" it worked.
I installed ojvm afterwards (using JDeveloper Base-Install) as described in install.html. I'm using JDK 1.3.1_02.

How do I remove ransom ware from my mac? Seems the PC instructions don't work...

My computer was attacked with this ransom ware with the Finnish police text, asking me to pay 100€. I find instructions on how to remove this lock from my computer only for PC users. Is there an equivalent for Mac users?

Good morning Tåbbe, from your description, I believe you are dealing with Browlock. Your lock screen should look very similar to this: Browlock is in a sense simpler than other ransomware, as the "lock screen" is actually just a web page that uses tricks to make it difficult to close. Depending on your browser, forcefully closing your browser should already do the trick of removing this threat. If you are having troubles with that, the nice folks at support can help you out. This said, if the lockscreen above does not look like the one you are seeing, please post more pictures and we'll help you identify what you have. Regards, Paolo

MAC G4 RAGE 128 PCI GRAPHIC don't work with SAMSUNG E2220N

I connect POWER MAC G4 to a samsung E2220N monitor (VGA cable)
The power mac recognize the monitor and propose all mode.
I chose 1920x1080 resolution.
The power MAC G4 work well in this mode
But when I want to restart the power MAC, It seems to block on boot with no start sound
and a black screen.
So I connect the old screen in 1024x768 mode and on power up the mac starts normally.
The power mac G4 has a RAGE 128 PCI card with 16MB RAM ROM version 113-574070-204
What can I do ? update VGA card firmware ? make the mac start in 1024x768 mode then switch to 1920x1080 ? ...

The Rage 128 card is pretty limited by today's technology. With older Macs, it was common for the computer to start to a fixed default resolution and then change to the user's setting after all the extensions and preferences loaded. It's possible that the card or the monitor are trying for an unsupported resolution at startup.

If performance on the hi-res setting is acceptable, this would be more cost-effective than a new video card. Finding Mac PCI video cards is getting harder as they have not been made in for ~5 years. A used ATI 128 Nexus would double the VRAM to 32MB but the GPU† is basically the same and you now have.
An original Radeon Mac edition card would be excellent (32MB); it's successor, the Radeon 7000 would be an improvement over what you now have but its GPU was not quite as powerful as the original Radeon. The last PCI Mac video card was the ATI Radeon Mac Edition 9200. It basically had the Radeon 7000's GPU but carried 128MB VRAM. However, it does work as well in OS9 if you need to use that system.
What can I do ? update VGA card firmware ?
Unfortunately, since AMD bought ATI, it has bee much harder find Mac resources on their site. I failed with a brief look this morning--will tried later today with a more thorough search.

Desktop themes don't work in Windows 7

Just loaded Windows 7 under Bootcamp. Desktop themes don't work. The choices offered in the Control Panel just don't take when I click on them. I'm stuck with a plain black desktop. What gives? Graphics seem ok but maybe I'm missing something.

Qosmio G30-126 monitor become black and FN buttons don't work

I have small problem, ehm two problems but perhaps small for you :)
Last week I install Vista ultimate WITHOUT RECOVERY CD..
It's OK, but I'm closing cover of notebook and instantly open, monitor become black and i can't anything do beyond restart .
In Control panel in possibilities of power supply , bookmark "options for closing pad" doesn't work.
Maybe it is by, because i don't driver if exist
And second problem maybe related with first but this is mistake by it, because I wasn't discover drivers because i don't hidden toolbar on up on dispay in Windows, where is standartly is.
I don't work major part hidden functions under key FN ( I think FN + F2,F3...F12) plus keys be the side POWER without multimedia keys on music..

First of all its interesting if you have downloaded and installed all Toshiba Vista drivers which are released on the Toshiba European driver page?
All drivers must be installed in the right order!
If I'm not mistaken the Qosmio G30-126 belongs to the PQG32E series. It was delivered with HD DVD drive and therefore you should choose the drivers for Qosmio G30 HD DVD (PQG32E)!!!
Please check firstly the Installation Instructions txt file and then install all drivers like mentioned in this document.
Regarding the display issue;
You should install the right NVIDIA driver from the Toshiba page!!
The FN keys and control buttons dont work because the Toshiba Vista Value Added Package was not installed. This package contains different applications which are necessary to get all Toshiba functions running!

Netdom don´t work, Remotedesktop don´t work

Hello, on a Windows 2012 R2 Server the Netdom command don´t work. When I try it from Powershell nothing happen. When I try it from cmd the follwing error occur: (In German):
netdom.exe - Einsprungspunkt nicht gefunden
Der Prozedureinsprungspunkt "I_NetNameValidate" wurde in der DLL "C:\Program Files (x86)\Support Tools\netdom.exe" nicht gefunden.
Additional I can´t connect with Remotedesktop to the server.
Error: Der RPC Server ist nicht verfügbar.

Hi,
Microsoft confirmed that only RDP version 6 and later is supported with Server 2012.
In Windows 2003 and Windows XP, RDP version 5.x is available.
To check version your RDP,
- Go to C:\Windows\System32.
- Right click 'mstsc.exe' and select properties.
- In the properties dialog, click 'Version' to check the RDP version.
