hello I have a problem with my wireless router, cisco wireless module allows you to give different IP addresses so that IP addresses are different who can help me please

no, it now works as a computer directly connected to the cable it does not get internal ip address of dhcp server wireless, nor how to solve that problem?

I posted this in a reply to another link but here it is again. Hopefully someone can help answer:
I have a problem that neither Linksys, nor my ISP can answer; hopefully someone here can. I live in Japan so I have a weird ISP since I am in the military. It's a regular DSL account but I seem to have two different IP Addresses. When I go to my router firmware and click "Status", "Router", my internet IP Address is one thing..and when I go to www.whatismyipaddress.com, it lists another. My ISP says that is because it shares IP Addresses for more than one person at each base..or whatever. There is no way for me to have a static internet IP Address, but it isn't exactly dynamic. I can go my my local ip address of my wireless-g camera and view the video..but nobody can remotely using either sololink or DynDNS. I created a dynamic ip address account at DynDNS under "domain.podzone.net" but I can't enter that domain into my linksys wireless-g setup because it says the site certificate was rejected, don't know how to change that. So basically whenever someone like my mother tries to go to my "domain.podzone.net", or "domain.ourlinksys.com", the connection times out. Anyone know any fixes?

hi , the reason that u have 2 different IP's is due to the fact that u are using a router....the router contains a NAT (network address translation) , this in effect seperates your private network from the public network. The IP with which you view the camera is your internal private IP address.....and the IP that shows up using www.whatismyipaddress.com, is the public IP given by your ISP...
Now since you are unable to view the camera from the "outside" , u will have to forward port # 1024 ( the default port for the camera) .... once done , you should be able to access the camera from the outside .....to know how to forward ports click here .

I see another unsecured wifi network on my list. As I have recently changed routers etc. I just want to make sure it's not attached to me. It has a different IP address than the secured wifi network I have now set up.

I see another unsecured wifi network (D Link) on my list. As I have recently replaced an old modem router (D link) with a new fancy one (wireless gateway), I am wondering if this is somehow still attached to my computer. The D link wifi unsecured network has a different IP address than my newly formed secure wifi network's IP address.
Also - if I turn my wifi off (regardless of if I am on the dlink or my new secured wifi) I can still watch netflix etc. on my tv from living room which tells me the the wifi is still on. Why is this so?
Does my Mac have two IP addresses or is that D link someone elses?

Believe it or not, I had already done that - that is why I was confused as I kept seeing it in the wireless networks that I was seeing even though I had deleted it in my advanced Network of Systems Preferences. I thought if it were mine it would go away, but alas it didn't. Anyway, all is well and I can now relax that everything is secure thanks all to you.

GSS4492 provide different IP address depending on conditions

Hi,
I am new to GSSs to bear with me.
We have 2 x GSS4492 configured as active/standby pair. One exists in datacentre X whilst other exists in datacentre Y.
We have a new requirement where by a 3rd part company will have a new WAN link connecting to our datacentre X and another to our datacentre Y. The 3rd party company will forward DNS lookups to the GSSs in both datacentres for a specific service - called application A. The GSSs sit behind a firewall in each datacentre. The GSSs will respond to a DNS query from 3rd party company with a NAT address on the firewall (designated as primary for the application) e.g. 10.10.10.10. 3rd party company then connects to the nat address etc. If the application A is not available in primary data centre then the GSSs will return an IP address for service in the other datacentre (nat address) 10.10.20.10. This is standard stuff - as far as I'm aware.
But, what they want is to use the same FQDN e.g. 'testing.test.co.uk' but require the GSSs to respond with a different IP address depending on a condition.
- If application A is up in datacentre X and WAN link to data centre X is up (from 3rd party company) then GSS will respond to FQDN 'testing.test.co.uk' with 10.10.10.11 (local NAT address for service on this local primary datacentre)
- If application A is up in datacentre X and WAN link to data centre X is down (from 3rd party company) then GSS will respond to FQDN 'testing.test.co.uk' with 10.10.20.12 (other datacentre NAT address but this will be NAT'd to real address for application A in datacentre X)
- If application A is down in datacentre X and WAN link to data centre X is up (from 3rd party company) then GSS will respond to FQDN 'testing.test.co.uk' with 10.10.10.12 (i.e. local datacentre NAT address but this is nat'd to real address of backup service in other datacentre i.e. application A in datacentre Y)
- If application A is down in datacentre X and WAN link to data centre X is down (from 3rd party company) then GSS will respond to FQDN 'testing.test.co.uk' with 10.10.20.11 (backup datacentre Y)
Can the GSS do this? If so please indicate how it can be done (by the way the GSSs poll VIPs on ACEs in each datacentre).

yes. but then i have to go in and set my ip address manually everytime. because the the dhcp on both(work and home routers) just assigns whatever. i want to have a certain IP address depending on where i am, without having to actually tell the computer i'm at work now, or i'm home. because as soon as i walk into my office, i'm connected to the work wireless, so it should know, this address is 10.0.1.10, so the IP address should be 10.0.1.38. when i go home, it automatically connects to my home wireless, so it should look at the address and say, the IP should be this. just seeing if anyone figured how to do that?

Strange error message. Same session id with different ip addresses.

notice the session id is the same in the three examples above, but they have different ip addresses...should this be? I'm not sure what this means. Is this a hack or an error on my page? I'm leaning more to a hack because when I access the same page I don't get the error message at all. Any ideas on what I should do would be great.

Getting different email address in outbox

Hi experts,
I am using function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1,
I am facing a problem with email address of the sender.
When I move to tcode VA41, the output is successfully issued to email address say xyzATgmail.com
Now to confirm whether the email has reached to the appropriate user
So i checked it in SOST where it shows exact email address for ex say xyzATgmail.com
Now when select the appropriate file and click on display document , it takes us to SAP outbox,
Where in Recipient with Information icon is displayed shows different email address , once I click on recipient tab it shows the correct email address. What is this, I am unable to find out the issue..
I m unable to recognize the error, becoz I have traced my program wherein it takes the exact email address as per the requirement., but while outbox it shows different email address but not in recipient tab.
Is it some kind of basis settings, or does it shows in encryptied form?
Can anyone please help me in this issue.

Every thing is correct. Just check whether email has delivered to xyzATgmail.com or not?
If this is a dummy email, try giving some genuine mail id and test.

Time Capsule: PC and Wireless on different IPs

(Apologies if this has been answered recently, but I've used Search and gone manually through 10-15 pages and didn't see an answer)
I just purchased a Time Capsule and have it successfully setup with my desktop PC via Ethernet cable. I also have a new Macbook Pro 17 and older MBA. The Time Capsule is clearly creating a wireless network which my various Macs can access. The PC can clearly see the Time Capsule as an external hard drive and Internet connectivity is fine.
The problem is that the PC appears to be on a different IP address than my wireless router, meaning that I can't share my iTunes collection across my computers.
How do I get my PC onto the same IP address as the general wireless network created by the Time Capsule?
For background, I'm using a Comcast cable modem with a known fixed IP address, but I was unable to have success using Bridge mode, so I used share a Public IP.

I have a similar but sort of in reverse. I have set up my Mac Air via ethernet and would like to get my PC to do a backup as well to Time Capsule. I have put the airport utility on my PC and it recognizes the TC. How do i tell it to backup since I don't have something like Time Machine on the PC?

Ah, I should have made that clear. My domain didn't come from google. It was purchased at and is hosted at dreamhost, but I haven't used their email servers in years - I just route everything through gmail. I actually have a bunch of domains (with websites).
Gmail has an option that lets someone with custom domains send (and receive) email through gmail using the custom domain once Google confirms proper ownership of the domain (to prevent spammers and such). Gmail has a setting for "send email as" which allows gmail to be sent using a custom domain as the sender. I'm pretty sure Apple's old mobileme had this feature too, but I didn't use it.

Can't access pre-existing Behance portfolio because it's associated with a different email address than my Adobe ID

I have a Behance profile of long-standing as ChrisARaymond, and multiple projects, all connected to a gmail address. Now I cannot access it because my Adobe ID is connected to a different email address. I get an endless loop as Behance refuses to let me sign in with my old credentials, and when I sign in via AdobeID, my profile and projects are empty.
Did your programmers think through what you were doing before you implemented this? It's beyond ridiculous.

1 line item in the sales order ship to different shipping address

Our customer A have 3 different branches (meaning 3 different shipping address).
During the creation of the sales order for 1 material A, I want to ship 50pc to this customer A:
10pc to address A1
20pc to address A2
20pc to address A3
In my sales order, is there a way I just create 1 line item with the order qty 50pc for this material A, but split into 3 schedule line with 3 different ship to address?
I know there is alternate way where I create 3 different line item (with order qty 10, 20 and 20) and change the ship to address in the Item -> Partner tab. But using this method, I have to create 3 times of the same material in 1 sales order, just with the different shipping address.
I want to know is there a way I just need to create 1 line item?

When you have 3 different ship-to address, system will anyway create 3 different deliveries. This is coz if the header data in shipping (ship-to) is different, system will split the deliveries. Routes are different to 3 ship-to addresses & they cannot be combined in the same delivery.
So as mentioned in above thread, create 3 different line items or create different sales orders all together for different ship-to parties.

Is there an email account that will allow me to use a different from address with a POP account

Need to be able to delete emails (I have an Optonline address) from iphone and ipad during the day, while retaining them on Mac Book Pro to view and file into folders in the evening.
Seemed like I could have my optonline emails forwarded to a Gmail account and just set up the Mac's mail to use my optonline account, while the iPad and iPhone used my Gmail account. That worked, except for one issue - when I sent mail from the iPad or iPhone it would use my Gmail address and then people who used "reply" would have their replies sent back to my Gmail account. I wanted to continue to use my optonline address since I have had this address for many, many years. I saw that Gmail allows you to "send using a different from address", however because optonline is a POP account, they do not support the settings in Gmail and therefore I cannot get my optonline address to be verified by Gmail, meaning my emails continued to be sent from my Gmail address on my iPhone.
I even tried setting up the Gmail account manually (using "Other" in the ipone settings) and putting in a comma with my optonline address in the address field, but still no success.
Next, thought I'd try Yahoo mail - same thing - only sends mail with my Yahoo account.
Then looked into iCloud since I use that for syncing Contacts and Calendars on all 3 devices - same thing - I can only send email using the @me.com address.
Does anyone know of any other mail account that will work with my POP Optonline email address? After 10+ years with this email address, having to announce to my world that I am changing my address (either to Gmail, Yahoo, or the iCloud's @me.com address) is something I really don't want to do.
However, leaving just my optonline account on all 3 devices means I am constantly deleting the same emails on 3 devices everyday, which is also just not an effective use of my time.

I have two Iphones 5 with different email addresses sharing one Apple ID account.Both are using IOS 8.
I would like to set up a new Apple Id for one of the phones and remove it from the old account.
If I do that, can I move all of the purchased apps and songs to the new Apple account?
Also, will sharing one Apple ID account with two devices cause problems with using messaging and FaceTime?

Sharing an iCloud account between two devices can be done without causing issues with iMessage and FaceTime, just go into Settings for each of these functions and designate separate points of contact (i.e. phone number only, or phone number and unique email address). While that works, you'll then face the problem where a phone call to one iPhone will ring both if on the same Wi-Fi network -- but again, that can be avoided by changing each phone's settings.
Rather than do all that, don't fight it -- use separate IDs for iCloud. You can still use a common ID for iTunes purchases (the ID for purchases and iCloud do not have to be the same) or you can use Family Sharing to share purchases from a primary Apple account.
