WLST scripts for deploying and migrating OSB project required

Hi,
I need sample/reusable WLST scripts for the following requirements:
1. deploying OSB project developed on workbench to the remote server.
2. migrating OSB project from Remote Server A to Remote Server B.
I know other mechanisms to register an OSB project with the server but appreciate if some one can share the above scripts and associated documentation with me.

WLST Script for Disabling/Enabling Global SLA Alerting.

Hello,
I wanna find a way from the WLST to disable and enable the SLA Alerting which is under Operations-->Global Settings in the sbconsole. This is the global setting not per sercive!
I have found how to create a session and how to disable the alerts per service, but i cannot find which MBean is accessed when throught the sbconsole the global SLA alerting is disabled/enabled.
Can anybody point me to the right direction or help me to find how to do this from WLST.

I have finally created the script i was looking for.. I copy-paste it below as a sample... For sure you need all the lines of code until the comment i have put "#####you need this code above"
now the code you see below the comment is for disabling the global sla alerting... you have to write a bit to target a specific service that you want to disable.
Keep in mind that after you make your change you hava to include those lines in order to activate the changes and disconnect and exit..

If you are using a cluster you need to make sure the connection pool and data source are deployed on the admin server. I have had this problem many times before.

Can't find sample WLST Scripts for OSB10gR3

I have installed OSB 10gR3. I do not find sample WLST Scripts to create a OSB Domain etc. Sample scripts are available in ALSB 2.5 under C:\bea\alsb25\weblogic92\samples\server\examples\src\examples\wlst\online.
Can you please post WLST Scripts for creating a ALSB Domain, cluster configuration etc for 10gR3.

SHUTDOWN ABORT]
Shuts down a currently running Oracle instance, optionally closing and dismounting a database.
Terms
Refer to the following list for a description of each term or clause:
ABORT
Proceeds with the fastest possible shutdown of the database without waiting for calls to complete or users to disconnect.
Uncommitted transactions are not rolled back. Client SQL statements currently being processed are terminated. All users currently connected to the database are implicitly disconnected and the next database startup will require instance recovery.
You must use this option if a background process terminates abnormally.
IMMEDIATE
Does not wait for current calls to complete or users to disconnect from the database.
Further connects are prohibited. The database is closed and dismounted. The instance is shutdown and no instance recovery is required on the next database startup.
NORMAL
NORMAL is the default option which waits for users to disconnect from the database.

TRANSACTIONAL [LOCAL]
Performs a planned shutdown of an instance while allowing active transactions to complete first. It prevents clients from losing work without requiring all users to log off.

After completion of all transactions, any client still connected to the instance is disconnected. Now the instance shuts down just as it would if a SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATE statement was submitted. The LOCAL mode specifies a transactional shutdown on the local instance only, so that it only waits on local transactions to complete, not all transactions. This is useful, for example, for scheduled outage maintenance.
Usage
SHUTDOWN with no arguments is equivalent to SHUTDOWN NORMAL.
You must be connected to a database as SYSOPER, or SYSDBA. You cannot connect via a multi-threaded server. For more information about connecting to a database, see the CONNECT command earlier in this chapter.

It shows the iPad is listed under the Prepare logo up top as 1 but under supervise none are shown. Although it does show itself in iTunes. Also the profile I created is fresh and has no errors. OMB Script for deploying

Hi,
I'm trying to write an OMB script (9.0.4.8.21) to (re)deploy a project. I'm having trouble with the operation property on OMBALTER DEPLOYMENT_ACTION_PLAN. I'm trying 'RECREATE' or 'REPLACE' but neither of those works. Do I have to code it to explicitly DROP and then CREATE?
The OMB scripting guide and OMBHELP do not provide much other than the syntax. Is there another resource where I can find more examples and information about the commands and the options available?

Scripting for deployment only supports DROP and CREATE, but not redeploy in OWB 9.0.4. You can do a DROP followed by a CREATE to achieve the same effect as REPLACE. One of our candidate features for OWB's major release in early 2004 is to include support for REPLACE, UPGRADE and EXECUTE.

Merging all DB scripts into a single script for deployment

Hi,
I'm using an Oracle Database Project in Visual Studio to store single scripts for each database object, which I like a lot. What I don't know is how to merge all those scripts into a single script now that I'm ready for deployment. I would prefer to give the DBA guy a single script with all the objects and not one script per DB object.
Is there any way to achieve this?

I'm playing with this stuff these days and Yes, there is a possibility:
Under Visual Studio:
Open your Database Edition Project
Goto "Server Explorer"
You should have previously created a connection to your Target DB.
Open that connection. you have a collection of folders.
Select/Open the Schema Folder, then the Tables Folder.
Select the Tables you want to Script, right-click and select "Generate Create Script to Project".
Enter a Scriptname and click OK
That's all.
Going back to your Project, you shuld find a Script into your "Script" Folder.
The problem is that you cannot create separate Scripts when selecting multiple tables, as I stated in my Post "ODT lacks some functionnalities"

Did you try going to the WLST documentation and searching for it? Go to [http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs92/pdf/config_scripting.pdf] and search for "Changing a Password". The example there seems to be what you need.

Where is the doc for xml task options for deploy and ojdeploy-build ?

I am a new user.
I tried using jdev help to find my answer, but got lost quickly in the zillions of manuals.
1) Where is the manual/doc for the xml task attributes/options for the Ant tags <deploy> and <ojdeploy-build>?
I am modifying an xml script that ojdeploy will call, but do not know what attributes/options are supported for these tags. I need to know whether an option such as failonerror exists, so that I can report a bug that <deploy> does not default to fail on error (or that <ojdeploy-build> ignores the error and continues with the script.
Followup questions:
2) How do I find the java code that implements the tags <deploy> and <ojdeploy-build>?
3) How do I report a bug on the implementation for these tags and propose a fix (assuming I can see the java source code)?

I guess I wasn't clear enough. What I tried to say was:
1) Where is the manual/doc for the xml task attributes/options [I meant to say attributes/elements] for the Ant tags [I meant to say tasks] <deploy> and <ojdeploy-build>?
I did not mean the ojdeploy command, but the Ant tasks <ojdeploy-build> and <deploy>.
The jdev help does not seem to provide the complete list of elements or attributes for these critical Ant tasks, though it has a few examples.
So far, it appears that <deploy> has been misdesigned and I cannot do what I want, which is to "failonerror" (failonerror="true" should be the default but the opposite is true and there is no attribute to change the setting).
You could consider this to be a bad flaw in Ant itself, that you cannot get the exit code from every Ant task (since they are java programs they do have an exit code), so when new tasks are implemented by folks who lack experience they may leave out access to this programming feature that is however implemented for a bunch of important core Ant tasks such as "java" or "exec". It would have been far more useful to make this a generic feature of all Ant tasks. Of course then folks would be asking for stuff like "fail if" or "fail unless" and where would it end? Maybe with a real programming language like TCL but in XML form.
