WM_PP Interface:- How to handle if the qty to be issued qty in Proce orde

Hello Experts,
We have one issue with WM_PP Interface.
Scenario:-
Process order is created for the Finished Goods (Mat A:- 1Pcs).Mat A has one component in BOM (Mat B = 24 L).However Mat B is available in CANS of 25 L only.So, when the process order is released, based on the Config Auto TR and TO for 24 L of mat A is created.
     However , the 24 L cannot be issued by the WH, they can only issue the CAN of 25 L to Production for the process order.
How can we map this?
Moreover, after using the 24 L they keep the rest 1 L in their Prod SLOC only.They dont send to WH again.So, next time when the same process order gets created again the material staging will happen for 25 L again.So, in this way inventory will get piled up in the Prod SLOC.How to map this?
In the normal scenario, when the Process order qty to be issued is same, my scenario works fine.
Config settings :-(No HU mgmt is implemented)
u2022     Go in OMK0Maintain Prod Supply Area
u2022     Assign the Production supply area in BOM(CS03),u201DMaterial Item Detailsu201D and also assign the Prod sloc
u2022     Activate WM_PP Interface for the WH,OMK0Whse Number
u2022     Go in LPK1
u2022     LB13:-Display TR that created after RELEASE of Process Order
u2022     Create TO in Background for this from the LB13 screen only.
All this is staging the material from WM SLOC to a production BIN in the storage type 100.When the process order is confirmed, the material gets backflushed from the production BIN.
In the above scenario i am no where staging the material to any Production SLOC rather i am doing in production Bin.whats the use of MF60?? Can this be of some help?

Hi Pawan,
If WH issuing material against process order then system will consider it as consumption.But you want to keep 1 L balanc in your location,
. Tell store person to transfer material from their location to productiopn location . Then out of 25 L , 24 L will get consumed against the proces order.means during material staging consume that material from production location.so after consumption 1L material will show you balanc in production location.

How can I remove the 'Qty' text from individual product descriptions?

I didn't know if this was possible or not... I've recently taken the reins of handling an ecommerce site that had been published before I got on board. My boss wants me to remove the 'Qty:' description from some products because the image shown for some products is a misleading description of the actual quantity available (i.e. there is a picture that shows a stack of conveyors parts, and it says 'Qty: 1' to represent one 'stack' of conveyor parts - this confuses customers into thinking there's only one individual conveyor part available however). To avoid any confusion he requested that I remove the 'Qty' text from similar images. I see that you can change the 'In Stock' amount of a particular product underneath the 'Inventory' tab of the 'Products' menu, but I didn't know if it was possible just to remove the quantity description altogether without just typing the quantity in at zero. This is likely a strange question but I didn't know where else to ask! I would appreciate any help or advice Thank you

I just figured out a way to do it, but it's a little weird and complex, and I have no idea what the consequences for editing this .plist string might be. I'm thinking it'll be OK, but you never know what might happen when you screw around with Apple's intentions.
So if you have the Developer Tools on your install of OS X, you can use the Property List Editor to edit the Dock files. (If you don't have this program, you can use a program like [Pacifist|http://www.charlessoft.com> to selectively install stuff from your Leopard disk).
The file you're interested in is within Macintosh HD > Users > Your Username > Library > Preferences, and it's called com.apple.dock.plist. Open that up with Property List Editor, and open the arrow drop-down next to "Root." The lines you're looking for are "persistent-apps" (the left side of your Dock) and "persistent-others" (the right side). If you open the drop-down arrows, you'll see there are numbers below each. The numbers correspond to your Dock items, from left to right.
If you click on drop-arrows by the numbers, a sample hierarchy looks like this: 0 > tile-data > file-label. It's the "file-label" string that you want to edit. Just make it ("it" being the name of the icon under the "value" column) blank, save the file, go into Terminal and type "killall Dock" without the quotes, and your Dock icon should appear without a name. You'll have to do this for all of them.
I should insert the usual caveats here about backing up beforehand and making sure that you have a copy of the .plist file before you start tweaking it so that you can replace it if things go wrong. And perhaps someone with more knowledge of Terminal or third-party apps than I have will come along and suggest a simpler solution. But that's the only one I have.

You cannot restrict the qty in MIRO. because it is used for partial invoice receipt.
E.g in some cases 100 nos of qty might have received in one GR. But the supplier may give 3 invoices for this. that is the reason u cant restict this

How to Handle Returns of Vendor Consigned Stock Issued via Delivery ?

Hi.
I am currently able to issue Vendor Consigned Stock via Delivery. I use Lean Warehouse Management, and I have implemented Stock Determination Rule to take Vendor Consigned Stock and Unrestricted own stock in account during Issue. I am even able to insert the correct Vendor Number during the confirmation of the Transfer Order. When I generate the Goods Issue of the Delivery Order, I get an accounting document that affects both the Account Payable Liability and a Consumption Account.
Now My Question is this :
How do I handle Customer Complaints that lead to a Return of the Goods, back into Vendor Consigned Stock ? The goods that is returned, needs to be taken back into Vendor-Consigned Status, and a appropriate Accounting Document needs to be generated to reverse out the Acct Payable Liability and Consumption Account entries.
Do I use a Returns 'RE' Sales Order to bring back the Stock ? I need to be able to create a Return Delivery that will immediately post the returned Stock back into Vendor Consigned Status. So where and how can I key in the vendor number in the Return delivery, keeping in mind Return Delivery in Standard SAP does not use Warehouse Management ?

I think you can try the following:
1. Define a new schedule line category - here you can define the movement type and the item category (as given in a Purchase Info Record). - Transaction VOV6
2. Define a new sales order type for returns. - Transaction VOV8
3. Define a new item category for the returns document, - you can mention the special stock type here too
4. Carry out the sales order to item category and item category to schedule line category assignments.
I am not sure if the system will prompt you to provide the vendor number or how does it populate the vendor no. while posting the material doc. However you can try this out and check if this solves your issue.

How do SAP select the correct DC to issue stock out to store

Hi,
An additional warehouse had been configured to store Chinese books.
The current warehouse and the new warehouse are holding the same title.
How can I configure the system such that
a.     when the STOCK TRANSPORT order is being raise, it would default to the new warehouse and not the existing warehouse.
        This is to prevent human error on keying in the wrong warehouse to supply out.
b.     during store replenishment, how to let system to replenish from the new warehouse?

Setting in both lines? Are you talking about supply-site in MC of site master?
In that case if 2 lines exist with different DC's as supply source then - priority will be considered . There a field which defines the priority .
Supplying site priority
If a number of supplying plants are to be valid for a plant or plant group at the same time/during the same period, you must enter a priority for supply source determination.
If supply source determination finds several supplying plants that are valid for a plant or plant group at the same time/during the same period, the system checks the sequence of priority; the supplying plant with value 00 has the highest priority. This means that the system first checks the supplying plant with priority 00 to determine whether it can be used as the supply source.
In the standard system, there is a check on whether listing conditions exist for a material. A user exit can be used for further checks (e.g. availability)." SAP EXPLANATION"

Do you have SharePoint Designer 2010 installed?
Open your site in sharepoint designer
click lists and libraries
click the name of your list
in "views" on the right, click "new..." and give it a name.
in this new view of the list, click in one of the cells of the actual list of issues, so that the contextual ribbon at the top will give you all the options you need.
Click "Conditional Formatting" in the ribbon. This will let you pick "row".
Then you just have to define your conditions:
if priority is equal to (3) Low, then pick yellow as the background color. Do the same type of thing to create the other 2 conditions.

Current Firefox versions remember the download directory based upon the URL, so if the URL changes then the default folder may be chosen if there hasn't been selected a download folder before for that server.

I followed the same way but it's not coming without overlapping ,
And It has to support all screens so that i'm giving fixed '%' to the parameters then only it's rendering to all screen resolutions perfectly,
In some cases it's only taking pixels to the fields,
EX : If i place the above login screen design in side of Scroll Container then it's taking Pixels format , There if we try to chang pixel( width: 320px) to %( width: 100.00%) it's not rendering to all devices, It's Just fits for only 320px width devices, to other devices it's displaying like below,

Staffing changes and how to handle within the middle of a project

Hello,
Our users have this issue. They have a project set up that is partially complete. Let's say the project lasts three years and we have finished half of the project. We have a resource staffed to a role that has been listed as the responsible person for a number of tasks. The role also has tasks assigned to it. This person isn't responsible for all of the tasks assigned to this role, just a subset. We are half way through the project so some of the tasks are completed.
This person moves to a new team. I want to ensure they don't see the tasks for this particular role anymore, but want to keep the information that they were responsible for some completed tasks prior to moving to a new team.
So far the only we we have to do this is to go through all completed tasks for which they were the responsible person, reset complete, delete responsible person, and mark complete. This is so we can delete the staffing assignment since this person has moved to a different team.
Is there any way to show that they were assigned to the role for half of the project, leave the completed tasks alone, but keep the user from seeing future work for his/her old team on the task dashboard? We are losing the history of what this person worked on because it is more important to ensure they see an accurate picture of their current and future work assignments.
I tried putting start and end date values for the staffing assignment, but I still see the future tasks on my task dashboard even though my end date has passed.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid that currently it's simply not possible to achieve this. For one of the essential features of the dashboard is to show the tasks where you are responsible, so by defintion all of those tasks will be shown. The notion of "changing teams" is not known in cProjects and thus it's not modelled in cProjects. However, a possible workaround could be through authorizations (either by user-groups or org)
In order to track the work, the time recorded with CATS could used of course...
Other than that, I currently see only some development at your side as possibility to get this done. As far as I understood, this would require some interference in the logic of the task-dashboard, and the creation of customer tables where the history would be stored...

How Can I Repair the Triangle/Exclamation Point Issue?

I have repaired and then Rebuilt my database only to have the same triangle come up while totally putting different Event dates around my photos.
This is Apple for crying out loud. This monumentally time consuming answer which doesn't work should not be coming from Apple.
How can I fix this issue once and for all?
I also have trouble dragging and dropping my Albums in the order I want them.
Both these issues are unacceptable coming from a company such as Apple that charge so much for their devices, etc.

Moving albums is a strange issue that I've not seen and many othr have not but many have
Try creating a folder and putting your albums in it - some people have foud that to help - you also can use folders to reduce the number of albums you are dealing with while organizaing - no idea what you have but as an eampe if you ha an album for every town you visited on vacation it woudl be hard to manage - if you made a vacation folder with country folders in it an then town folders in the counrty folders all of a sudden you are dealing with a much more managable set of data to organize
I have not seen a definative answer other than using folders to help
As to IPLM - almost all of the time it doess resolve things - but even then there are people who had to start over (which is not quiet as bad as it sounds - but certainly not great)
The real answer is a good backup so when there is a problem rather than cure it you can go back to a good tiem and move forward from there

How do I fix the airport dropping internet issue? 10.6.8

Started doing it about a month ago conveniently a year after I got the computer. Seems to be a pretty common problem but I can't find a remedy. None of my hardware has changed since it worked flawlessly about a month ago. Now I have to unconnect and reconnect airport every ten minutes if I want to use the internet. Being an online student you can tell the obvious problems.
