Word Format of Smart Forms Output

Hi,
We want the Smart Form output in DOC format. If we are using the function module 'CONVERT_OTF', the output is perfect when downloaded as PDF with all background pictures and formats but when we are downloading in DOC format all the formatting and background pictures are absent.But we need all formatting options like boxes, fonts and background pictures in the downloaded DOC format.
If any of you have worked on the same please reply

As far as I know there is no way to convert the smartform into word, without loosing the format and pictures.
But you may convert the pdf output to word by a third party solution. Use SolidConverter. Version 1 is free and it is the best converter I have seen.
If it helps please give points.

Output date in words on a smart form

I need to output a date in words on a smart form. As in today's date (01/13/2009) should be output as January 13, 2009. How do I acheieve this? Please could someone help me out with this one?

Default paragraph format in SMART FORMS

Hi all!
Can we mention default paragraph format for SMART FORMS? How can we do that?
Please suggest.

Goto FORM attributes of your smartform and insert your smart style in output options tab.. before inserting your smartstyle you should create a smart style and create a paragraph format in your smartstyle in header data of smartstyle it ask for standard paragraph(i.e default paragraph)...

Hi,
By using a folder node and checking the 'protect' checkbox, everything in that folder will be page protected.
Also, chck the following link:

i have a simple smart form which takes 3 values like customer no, name and no of times customer called and gives an out like

I have to send this output to mail as an attachment.

This is all i am doing.
It is sending a mail with the attachment but we are not able to open the attachment. it's giving an error like file is damaged and couldn't be repaired.
I serched in the forum but i couldn't get the answer.
I suspect there is a problem in getting the OTF data..

Date format in smart form

How can we change the date format in a smart form.

define a var of type string in global
1)get the req date use edit mask function to modify it
2)convert tthe date as u wanted in program lines in smart form
3)assign the same to the string variable & then u can display the same

I am using a standard smart form to get the sales invoice but when I execute transaction VA01 and some order number and see issue output to print preview then this error is coming " system message 047 from workarea SSFCOMPOSER does not exist."

i have designed one smart form for GI o/p type WA01 for Tcode MIGO ,but could get any standard driver program becoz in our server the standard program is for the script and not smart form.can anybody help me in finding the standard driver program for trigerring the smart form.

Hi all,
i want to print multiple purchase orders in smart form
i have two windows in smart form layout
header window and main window
in header i need to print few header details
and in main window i need to display correspoinding line items
I need every po to be start in new paper or new form
In driver se 38 program
I_header - contains all header info
i_lineitems - contains all item info ofPO'S
iam confused whether i have to call SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME
between loop of i_header .
like this
loop at i_header.

if this right how do you want me to pass the info to smart form
in form interface i would declare a table similar to item
and header info right i need only one row right?

Yes you will have to call smartform function module inside the loop.
some what like this.
loop at header_itab in workarea say HEAD.
refresh and clear itab_export.
      loop at items_itab
          append these lines to itab_export which you will pass to smartform
      end items_itab
now call smrtform function module
     and pass head and table itab_export which you populated above
     inside item loop.
endloop.

Smart Form output is not BOLD in quality server

Hi Gurus,
In my Smartfrom I need to print few of the data in BOLD character format.
For this I'm able to to use custom style with custom Font as 'ZARIAL'.
I could work out this in my development sever perfectly, but when i transport the same form to Quality Server and check the output, I could not find any character printed in BOLD.
I could find same font 'ZARIAL' defined in Quality server, and even in my custom style, I could find same font as BOLD in preview. But, after execution of form using same style & Paragraph formats I could not find the BOLD in my Quality Server.
I'm not able to Analise, where my problem is..

I have taken print , PDF output, print preview & direct execution of FM in quality server, Its not getting in BOLD.But in style, I could find preview in BOLD for concern font.
I could achieve all these perfectly in development server.
My transportation of request is also perfect.

Smart form output error: PO item text overlaping when we have '-' with char

Hi experts,
when we are usin special character '-' between the two words in PO item text, it is looking fine in Print preview.
But in back end a mail is sent to PR creator as well as conserned user in .pdf format, in that the text os overlaped.
for example: 1.PO item text is like model: EJ110Au2212EMS5Gu2212724K/KU21
2.in the print preview it is ok model: EJ110Au2212EMS5Gu2212724K/KU21
3in the mail in pdf format it is looks like model: EJ110A EMS5G 724K/KU21
Not exactly like 3rd line, but E is inthe box(overlaped) and 7 is inthe box(overlaped) .
help me in that

Hi,
In debugging try deleting the special character '-' from the internal table value and then again type the "-" value there and chech the PDF generated in the background.
