Wordpress xml file from local to remote MySQL

I am developing a php site with an attached WordPress blog using Dreamweaver CS6 on my localhost test server. My php pages contain echos from private blog posts with an average of several divs per page.
Heres my problem, when I export the xml from my localhost and import the xml into my remote hosted WordPress blog the categories I assigned locally do not have the same category #assignment.
Example:
blog/?cat=10 for a catagory on my local blog changes assignment to lets say
blog/?cat=9 on my hosted remote site blog.
Of course this totally messes up the echoed content going to the respective divs on the php main site pages.
How can I either get the xml to maintain the cat=# or else edit the category number assignment on the remote site?
The reason I want to develop locally is to be able to demo the site in different locals which do not have internet access. In other words I would like my localhost test server site mirror the actucal site on the web.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder why the order of catID has changed remotely. Can you do the following?
Do a full backup of your remote database
Export your local DB as .sql file
Import that onto your remote DB (full import)
See if the order remains the same. Let us know how it goes.
If that doesn't work, I'll walk you through how to change the order to match local listing.

Let me guess. The Get and Send clibboard contents buttons are greyed out too?
It is only affecting me on clients already upgraded to 3.7. None of the clients on older versions are affected.
ARD is also crashing a lot.
Most of the time I go to a screen share to a client it takes way too long, so I clock Stop, then try to connect again and works straight away.
Hopefully a patch will be released soon.

Read a xml file from local directory, transform it and put in new local dir

I have a simple requirement. I have one XML file in d://source folder. I want to read it, transform it and want to put the transformed xml file in new location d://target.
I am new to OSB. Please help me out to complete the above requirement.

Use a polling file transport proxy service to read the file(d://source folder)
Do the necessary transformation XML or MFL(if the file is fixed length strings) in the proxy service stages.
Use a file transport business service to write the file to a directory(d://target).To be called from the proxy service route node.

I want to use mobile service to send xml files to azure storage,
how shall i do that, either by c# or mobile service.
If internet stop, I will use my mobile service to transfer all xml files to azure storage and run web job to do to update azure

Can't open HTML files from local or remote location

Hello Experts,
I've tried deleting my remote location, and adding it back
again several times and I still can't open any HTML files. I can
check out the pages, and check them back in, but nothing shows up
on the screen. Does anyone know what may be causing this? I'd
really like to update my website soon. If I click on the web images
they open up in my photoshop, it's just the Dreamweaver HTML
portions that won't open up.

Unable to upload files from local computer to remote server (Was: Dreamweaver)

I have lost the connection between the remote location and the local location for files on my computer. Where to I correct this issues, since I cannot upload files from local to remote. Host server from server to my computer works fine, Running Dell computerr XP operating system with CS3 Dreamweaver. Need all the help I can get.

How to read a XML file from BLOB column and insert in a table - PL/SQL Only

To make data load more simple to end user instead placing file on the server and use SQL-LOADER, I came up with new idea that using oracle ebusiness suite attachment functionality. that loads a XML file from local PC to a database column(table is fnd_attachments, default data type is BLOB over here).
I tried with DBMS_LOB and didnt get around.
Please can anyone tell me how to read the BLOB column using PL/SQL and store the data in a oracle table. Here's the sample XML file and table structure FYI.

Getting error when reading xml file from a remote connection

I want to read an xml file from a remote connection, not from my local machine.So when i am creating the data server i am giving the host name(that is the ip of the machine where the xml file is located), giving the proper username and password and giving the path of the xml file. When i am testing the connection the error that is coming:- "Connection failed and the xml file could not be created, verify that you have write permission in the directory"...
but read write and execute permissions have been given on the directory as well as to the file...

Initially I have started the agent.sh giving the agent name <agent name>and port number 20910 and defined it in the topology manager it is showing that the agent test is succesful. Then I tested a particular Data server against that agent and the test was successful.
After this we had stopped the agent and restarted it.

Accessing a XML file located in a remote machine.

I have a XML file located in a remote machine(source machine), and I want to be able to move the data from that file to a remote database (target).
I have a central ODI deployment and a central master and worker repository.
The issue I have is that it seams to me that in order to use an XML file the XML file needs to be local to the ODI client(topology manager, designer etc).
The question what do I need to do in order to access the file located in the remote source machine if that machine does not have an ODI client?

why don't you try to put all your JPA stuff (classes, persistence.xml, etc) in a "library" jar file and then deploy it inside your .war (under META-INF/lib) and .ear (under the lib)?

Reading a XML File from server in BI Publisher

Hi All,
Can any one help me how i can get the XML file from server to BI Publisher using data source.
The file should transfer directly to BI Publisher with out storing it in any local directory in local system.

Do you mean that you have another system that is going to serve up the XML data and you want BIP to be able to pick it up as a data source ?
Couple of options:
1, If the XML filename can remain static you can use the 'XML File' datasource. You need to set up a directory on the server and then maybe create a dummy XML file to start with upon which you can build a report. Then have your external data generator put the file into that directory and then schedule the report so that BIP will pick and report.
2. IS the data generator accessible via HTTP or web service - BIP supports those too.
3. More complex but with a little effort you can create a servlet that will pick up the file from a directory and serve it up to BIP on demand - Im going to write about this on the blog this week
