Work on userexits

Dear experts,
I am going to start work on an assignment which includes enhancement of transactions
related to PR like ME21N,ME22N,ME23N,ME29N.
Enhancement include incorporating two fields in detailed section.
How can i achieve this..
I came to know that i have to use customer exits and make changes in Uesr exits,Screen exits,
menu exits finally making sure that data is being populatd on to corresponding tables.
But as i am new to userexit,i am not able to make out how to start.
Can somone guide me here ?

then provide sap given enhancement code
then select componenet

then select function bulider
provide function modue for outbound processing idoc

provide import parameter
then select source code
select include that have source code part
provide logic for enhancemetnt.
then save aand acativate

firist find the exit name & copy the exit if u found in MIGO t-code.
GOTO CMOD creat u r own project like ZZ_MIGO
goto 'enhancement assignment ' clik on that button & save u r project.
than u will get the screen in that give the exit name press enter
then it will shows the function module name like "exit_fm_001" than double on that function module it will take to the in side the FM in that u will find the one include program than place the cursor then press enter it will ask u to create new include program if u say yes automatically it will take to SE 38.
write u code as per u r requriments.
than actived that project.The modification will effected to particular t-code..

IPC pricing userexits in AP 7.0

Hi,
There is an issue in the custom Userexits in AP 7.0 we are using CRM 5.0 with AP 7.0 for IPC
The issue is: we a have a Z pricing condition (configured as a manual entry).upon adding in the GUI for the Sales orders products, the value is deleted automatically.
So to resovle this I have created a Z userexit for the Requirement in 7.0 with no attributes. The JAVA code has to get the requirement number and return true.

I suggest you have a configuration issue - not a coding problem. Otherwise it could be an authorisation issue.

IPC Pricing routine for Product Family Margin in Quotation is not working

I am working on the IPC Pricing Routine to calculate Item's Product Family Margin in the Quotation.
Process followed:
Step 1: Created a Group condition ZPFM for Product Family Margin and assigned to the pricing procedure.
Step 2: Created a Value Routine to determine ZPFM's Condition Rate and Condition Value.
Logic:
          1. Collect (Sum Of) the Cost (ZSVC) and the Subtotal 3 of the items which are in same Material Group.
           2. Assign the ZPFM Condition Value = Sum of Subtotal 3 - Cost.
Issue: The condition value for ZPFM is calculating correct for all line items except the last item. I am getting some junk value always to the last item. If I delete the last time, again next last item is giving wrong value. The calculation value in the routine debugging log (SM53) is showing correct value. However, assigning the wrong value. No other routines have been assigned to this condition type in the pricing procedure.

I think you should change xkwert variable instead of komv-kwert.
Standard routines does the same.
Aslo check in SPRO settings that routine is attached and
getting triggered by putting break-point.

The userexit is not working in integration scenario- inb. delivery creation

Hi Experts please help,
We know that vl31n is for inbound delivery creation.
in one of the userexits of vl31n, I did code ( shifting the batch to vendor batch )...
So,the user enters batch number under batch field and
fill all other required information and saves to create inbound delivery.
Whilw inbound delivery creation my coding in user exit gets executed and shifts the batch number to Vendor batch field.
This we observed when we check in vl32n or vl33n, the batch entered shifted to Vendor batch field() batch field is space.
This is working fine with vl31n inb. delivery creation.
But in integration testing it failed.
In Integration, what is happening the other system called "ICH" is creating ASN (shipping note) with the batch number, which inturn created the inbound delivery in R/3 via XI as shown like below.
Integration scenario :
ICH System (ASN) --> XI --> R/3 System (Inb. delivery creation)
So when "ICH" triggers ASN to R/3 the inbound delivery creation is happening but the batch number is not shifting to vendor batch field.
when we open the inbound delivery in vl32n, the batch number is under batch field only...it should be under vendor batch field.
My understanding is my user exit coding of vl31n not getting executed in the integration process.
Kindly help me what can I do to shift the batch sending from ICH to shift to vendor batch field.
Please let me know if I could not explain the scenario.

the ASN from ICH, it uses a standard idoc function module IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1 and there is one user exit EXIT_SAPLV55K_012 which calls ZXTRKU07

IW31,IW32 Exit / BAdI to update Oprtn's Work center based on Header WrkCtr

I am looking for a way to ensure that the first operation on a Maintenance Order has the same work center as the Header of the Operation. I am not seeing a BAdI that has the export parameters that allows update of information. Infact I did not see one in ECC6 either.

I have doubt on userexits

I have developed some code in standard SD userexit for VA01 tcode for my own functionality.In standard SD userits some zincludes are there in that include i wrote a code for my requirement.My requirement was successfully worked.But my doubt is if someone use same tcode va01.In this situation my requirement was globally imacted to others or not? Please clarify my doubt.Userexits means without modifying the SAP standard functionality we can add our own functionality.

Userxits allow us to add our own functionality to SAP standard program
without modifying it . These are implemented in the form of subroutines and hence are also known as FORM EXITs. The userexits are generally collected in includes and attached to the standard program by the SAP. Or
when there is a need for customization, then we require User Exits. This is ABAPer Job..he will find User Exits in SMOD Transaction and impliments it in CMOD Transaction. Customisation in the sense, changing the sap standard program.

Not work tablet UI on Prestigio 5080 PRO tablet

I read that browser.ui.layout.tablet = "1" can fix this problem. But it not works. I can work only in pnone interface that is not good for my 8'' tablet.

Bought the Apple Mini-DVI to Video Adapter to hook up my Macbook to my TV. I tried it when it first arrived and it worked within minutes of setting up. Great! I go to set it up and use it again a week later, and it wouldn't work at all. I went through every possible setting I could to try and get it to work, nothing. Do these things have a tendency to go out or short out or something? I'm getting nothing but scrambled screens, grey screens, etc. Nothing seems to work.

Is your profile information accurate? The MacBook 2,1 was introduced in November of 2006 and discontinued in May of 2007, so the mini-DVI to video adapter ought to work.
What, exactly, do you see on your screen? Are all of the connections nice and snug? Do you have another RCA cable you can try? You can use a white or red one if you want; they all will work as long as you're connecting the video adapter to the yellow port on the TV.

I bought an Apple Mini DVI to Video Adapter to connect my Macbook to a TV using normal video cable. When I connect the cable, my Laptop DIsplay gives a flickr once and then it shows nothing. I checked Display in the system preference where I don't get a secondary monitor option. My TV is panasonic and it's an old one. I work on Final Cut Pro and it's very very important to see my videos on a TV. What am I doing wrong with the connection? Anyone Please Please help...

Your probably not doing anything wrong. There are thousands of users with Similar issues and it seems to be with many different adapters.
We have Mini DP to VGA (3 different brands) and they all fail most of the time. This seems more prevalent with LCD Projectors. I've tested some (50+) with VGA Monitor (HP) and they all worked, LCD Projector (Epson, Hitachi, and Sanyo) and they all fail, DLP Projector (Sanyo) and one worked.
My Apple Mini DP to DVi works most of the time. My Mini DP to HDMI (Generic non Apple) works every time.
The general consensus is that Apple broke something in the OS around 10.6.4 or 10.6.5 and its not yet fixed. As we are a school we have logged a case with the EDU Support group so will see what happens.

IPod no longer works with car stereo since upgraded MBA & iTunes

My iPod classic has worked just fine connected to my car stereo since i bought it last june. I just bought a new Macbook Air (OS 10.7.3) & installed ITUNES 10.6.1. After I synched my ipod for the first time its recognised by the car but i get a "can't read data" message. I re-formatted my ipod but its exactly the same. Do you think its the upgrade- or the cable? Has anyone else found a bug with this version of Itunes or the OS? I have my doubts a cable would make the difference, and my old ipod nano that i haven't synched for a while works fine.

If standalone works fine, then, most likely the 30 pin connect may have some dirt or lint, prevent data transfer.
You can try to blow it clean, if you have a can of compressed air or gas.
Alternatively you can connect it to the car stereo and do the RESET, while connnected.as follows
Toggle the Hold switch, make sure you dont see the red mark when you do the next step
Reset the iPod -> Press Menu and Center button simultaneously for about 10 secs or till the Apple Logo comes ON
Then release the buttons
Select your preferred language.

The Reset sequence may send a signal to the Car stereo to do the right thing

PCS no longer working with contacts and 6086

I have applied the latest release of PC Suite 6.84.10.3.
Previously the installed level was 6.83.14.1
The send/read/write message still doesn't work but hangs the Windows Explorer for a while (this hang didn't occur previously)
But now, the contact facility no longer works. It is no longer possible to edit a contact, to store it locally or to send it to the phone even a message says everything is OK
(translate it from french: The contact has been well recorded into the phone)
Folder browsing still works correctly, either the phone folder or the memory card folder
Need a fix or a way to install the previous version, at least for the contacts...
This is a really negative feedback!

I guess what I learned is that sometimes the best solution is to do nothing and wait for the problem to solve itself! Funny, this has never worked for me before.
WOT is now working for me but often for only the first few rows of images. That's cool that it is also working with bing images.
Boudica, thanks for understanding. I am new contributor/ question-asker here on mozilla and may not understand how things are done. I was just frustrated, getting an email saying that my question was answered, logging in to find that it wasn't.
Now we have the functionality that we wanted, right?
