Workflow Task not able to be completed due to "System Account" in Requested By field not resolving.

I have a workflow firing on create and update in a list. The list is a calendar that is email enabled. The tasks are assigned with the requested by set to be the System Account, which shows underlined in red when trying to complete the workflow task. This
is a sharepoint designer 2010 workflow using the assing approval task action. I was hoping to see a variable used when assigning the task to allow changing that from the system account to the created by on the original list, which I am able to assign for the
approval workflow starting notification since that also was trying to go to the system account.
Here is the task as it looks which will not allow completion even by site collection administrator.
If the workflow starts with direct entry in the list, all works fine. This is related to the system account creating the initial item, but was hoping to override that during the task process.
Anyone else run into this and have solution?

Hi Alan,
I can’t reproduce your issue, but you can change the requested by on the task form to “created by” column. Go to SharePoint
designer, open the workflow, under forms section, click task type form workname.xsn to open it in InfoPath form, then you can change the requested by to created by.

    Also, check where the window is placed in the Form Painter...may be it is not on the page properly..and also check the size of the window..

    Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility

    Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
    (Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
    Let us know how far you get, or results.

    1. Whether we need to choose only SAP system with load balancing template.
    2. Whether we can set
               BI Directory Provider: No
               BI Master System: No
    And also one more thing, I am using UIDPWD logon method. Whether there will any problem with this

    Also after doing all these things i am not able to find the created BI System in VC.
    When i test the same in Portal, it is saying the connection is successful..
    Anyother step needs to be done, after this in configuration. Please let me know.

    But in Portal I have done the User Mapping between Portal Server and BI System.
    I am using BI 3.5 System, Whether there will be any problem?
    The BI Kit is already installed and i am able to view the components.
    Still i am not able to get the System that i have created in portal into VC 7.1.
    I am only getting Web Services created in that system and Service Registry and Visual Composer Models in Search Tab.
    Whether we need to create a RFC destination also for this BI system?
    Please help me to solve this issue.

    Hi All,
    I am having exactly the same problem with the same stack trace. Has anybody have an idea how to fix this?
    I have downloaded the Java Identity Management Suite.(java_es-5-identsuite-ga-windows-x86.zip) The first time installation was fine and I was able to bring the Access Manager console. I was able to create users groups etc.
    However, when I uninstalled and installed it again, I got exactly the same error described in the thread. Running "amserver start" and "amserver restart" did not help. I did the installation one more time
    but again I got the same error.

    I think you mean Ethernet, not HDMI wire. If the airplay icon is showing up when wired then that would indicate an issue with your wifi network.

    Try resetting network settings at Settings > General > Reset.
    This will erase all saved wi-fi networks and settings for all previously connected wi-fi networks along with erasing all paired Bluetooth devices.

  • Not able to send "Completed" status to Siebel for NewOrder O2A flow

    Hi All ,
    We are in process of E2E testing for the Order journey with O2A & O2B PIP (AIA 2.5).
    The flow for the Process is:
    New Order from Siebel > Sync customer > Initiate Billing > Fulfill Billing.
    After this an update status should be sent back to Seibel.
    The flow is fine except that the status ”Completed” is yet to be sent to Siebel. We are receiving response from OSM in our Queue but somehow it’s not calling the services that has to send the status back to Siebel.
    We are not able to send status to Siebel, at different stages in process flow.
    Problem here is that our consumer service is able to pick the data from Queue, but it doesn’t proceed further.
    Consumer name: UpdateSalesOrderOSMCFSCommsJMSConsumer (Consume_UPDSO)
    Router: Consume_UPDSO_RS
    Esb To be called: CommunicationsSalesOrderEBSV2
    All other consumer services are working perfectly fine, so it is not some kind of code or connection issue.
    Any pointers to this would be helpful.

  • Remote User not able to Connect Completely

    Hi,
    not able to connect a remote user to our network. All other remote users are able to connect so I know the tunnel is up. When this user tries to connect using the cisco vpn client, I see their traffic coming through with the sh crytpo ipsec sa peer peer address. I can see their peer address and I can see their dhcp local allocated address - allocated from the firewall, and I can ping their peer address but I can't ping the dhcp allocated address.
    Any ideas?
