If you can access shared services on port 28080 then the foundation weblogic piece is probably working.
You should configure the foundation web server last, just run the configurator again and run the configure web server to deploy the oracle http server configuration again.

    The WebLogic Server installation you have referred to in this link is the "developer" distribution which is a simple zip file distribution that has no installer. Putting "FMW" on top of this is not supported. This is documented in the readme on the download site: http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/middleware/11g/wls/README.txt
    If you want to learn Oracle Forms, then you need to use a full installer of WebLogic Server.
    Try this page here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/weblogic/downloads/wls-main-097127.html and select the "Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 (10.3.4) + Coherence - Package Installer" for your specific platform:
    http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/middleware/11g/wls/wls1034_win32.exe
    http://download.oracle.com/otn/linux/middleware/11g/wls/wls1034_linux32.bin
    http://download.oracle.com/otn/solaris/middleware/11g/wls/wls1034_solaris32.bin
    or the generic installer if you are not on one of those platforms:
    http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/middleware/11g/wls/wls1034_generic.jar
    ** I don't know if WLS 10.3.4 is the correct version to go with the Forms/Reports installer, please check those details for yourself. But the process will be the same if WLS 10.3.3 is required per the certification.

  • Running an exe from within Oracle WebLogic 10g R3 does not find dll

    Hi,
    I am facing a strange issue with Oracle WebLogic 10g R3.
    I use the code as shown in Listing 1 below to run a windows based application exe (batch job) from within my web application hosted on Oracle WebLogic 10g Release 3.
    Note that this code woks fine on Tomcat 6.x and OC4J (JDeveloper TP4).
    The exec gets executed but the log of the exe program shows it could not load certain DLLs.
    Note that these DLLs are in the same directoy as the Batch program and this directory is in the PATH.
    Running through simple Java Program Successful*
    When I run the same program from a java program it runs successfully. So this means some WebLogic environment does not get set properly.
    Running directly BatchProg.exe rather than cmd.exe fails*
    Also note that when I run the exe directly e.g. BatchProg.exe rather than through cmd.exe it gives me a error the system did not find the file specified.
    CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified with cause java.io.IOException: CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified
    Listing 1:*
    String[] commandArgs = new String[|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/] { "cmd.exe", "/C", "BatchProg.exe \"param1\" \"param2\" " },null , l_workingDir)
    Runtime rt = Runtime.getRuntime();
    Process proc;
    proc = rt.exec( commandArgs, envParams, workingDir );
    ProcessIO errStream = new ProcessIO( proc.getErrorStream(), "ERROR");
    ProcessIO outStream = new ProcessIO( proc.getInputStream(), "OUTPUT");
    errStream.start(); // process any errors from the command
    outStream.start(); // process any output from the command
    System.out.println("Error=" +errStream);
    System.out.println("Out" + outStream);
    return (p_waitToFinish ? proc.waitFor() : this.SUCCESS);

    OK.
    I have posted this on the WebLogic Forum.
    Thanx.

  • Can not start WebLogic in Eclipse. Error: "Could not find the main class."

    I have installed Eclipse 2.0 and WebLogic Server 6.1. and the WebLogc plug in from GENUITEC (and jdk1.3.1_04, on Win2K Server). After I have done the configuration, the WebLogic start/stop buttons are integried into the Eclipse Toolbar, but when I click on the start button to start Weblogic, it pops up a dialog box "Java Virtual Machine Launcher" with message: "Could not find the main class. Program will exit!"
    Starting WebLogc Server from the Start panel works fine.
    Does any one have seen this before or have a suggestion what I should do?
    Many many thanks in advance.
    Huan

    Weblogic must be started with a full JDK; otherwise
    JSPs and dynamic EJB stubs could not be deployed. The
    error message
    indicates you are attempting to use a JRE. Configure
    Eclipse JRE to point to a JDK. The product
    documentation will help you with this process. It does not work for me. :-(
    I have tried JDK 1.3.1 and 1.4.1: same result: I get a "Could not find the main class: Program will exit"

  • ORA-12516, TNS:listener could not find available handler Weblogic error

    Hello,
    I have a wierd issue while setting up a datasource in weblogic.
    The database am trying to connect to is an Oracle DB and am using a LDAP based URL as the datasource URL in weblogic.
    Service name : PSG03900_PEWTER_APPL.WORLD
    The LDAP url given was jdbc:oracle:thin:@ldap://oid_ldap_server_ln.csfp.co.uk:1522/PSG03900_PEWTER_APPL.WORLD,cn=OracleContext,dc=uk,dc=csfb,dc=com
    driver oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource
    When am trying to setup the datasource and test the connection configuration the test is successful. However when I try to activate the changes I get the following error:
    An error occurred during activation of changes, please see the log for details.
    weblogic.application.ModuleException:
    Listener refused the connection with the following error: ORA-12516, TNS:listener could not find available handler with matching protocol stack The Connection descriptor used by the client was: (DESCRIPTION = (SDU = 8192) (TDU = 8192) (ADDRESS_LIST = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = PSGLOD2008-SCAN.AP.HEDANI.NET)(PORT = 1522)) (LOAD_BALANCE = ON) (FAILOVER = ON ) ) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = PSG03900_PEWTER_APPL.WORLD) (FAILOVER_MODE = (TYPE = SESSION) (METHOD = BASIC) (RETRIES = 20) (DELAY = 5))))
    The DBAs have confirmed to me that the database setup on their side is correct as they are able to do a tnsping and sqlplus connectivity succeeds.
    I have also tried accessing the database through PL/SQL developer and am able to login however the weblogic activation fails for some wierd reason.
    Could I request someone to enlighten me what I am missing here? I have been at it for days now.
    Many thanks.

    Hi Kishore,
    Thank you for the response.
    The number of processes has been set to 500 and number of sessions set to 792 and currently the utilization has just reached 15% of the limit set.
    We are using Weblogic 9.2 and trying to connect to Oracle 11g database, could the Oracle thin client being used in Weblogic have any issues connecting?
    Many thanks.

  • Can not find weblogic_sp.jar file after installed weblogic

    I just installed weblogic server (using weblogic610sp2_win.exe file) on my windows
    2000 pro box. Everything looks fine but I can not find the < weblogic_sp.jar >
    file. I noticed some guys met same problem but no answer.
    can you help me ?

    Hi.
    Don't worry about it.
    The reference to weblogic_sp.jar is a leftover from previous methods for updating
    service packs. Nowadays when you install a service pack it is integrated into the
    weblogic.jar file. If you have any doubts about your server version after installing
    or applying a service pack you should check the server version via the console
    (Servers|<server name>|Monitoring|Versions). Your version string should look
    something like: "WebLogic Server 6.1 SP2 12/18/2001 11:13:46 #154529"

              yes, weblogicaux.jar is definitely in the weblogic.class.path. i've even tried starting the server from the command line, declaring the classes there. my "trade.xml" document has the URI set as "http://localhost:7001/BizTalkServer". when i enter this on the "BizClient.jsp" form, i get the error discussed below. however, if i enter "http://localhost:7001", even though this is not the explicit location of the BizTalk server, the server returns:
              Thank you! Your trade has been recieved. A BizTalk document has been sent to http://localhost:7001/ with the following information: etc...............
              So there appears to be something wrong with the "/BizTalkServer" setup on my machine. Any ideas?

  • Could not find Patch CR112484_81sp1.jar for WEBLOGIC 8.1

    Due problem with ACTUATE Server 7 WE have to install this patch but we could not
    find it ?
    Where is it on WL8.1 reference site ?
    Thanks

    Hello,
    As these patch is not publically avialble through BEA Advisories....so you need to open a support case to get this patch. Or otherwise you can upgrade to WLS 8.1 sp2 ,as this issue is fixed in this service pack.
    Regards,
    Kuldeep.

    The errror message of MapViewer is nearly the same with some more informations about the spatial query and the coordintes of the query window. If I run that spatial query in the sqldeveloper it returns a result!
    I did following stebs:
    - saved a tiff-Image in a GeoRaster table with pyramid an tiled images.
    - checked the sdo_geom_metadata --> they are correct
    - checked the sdo_georaster object for the rdt table name and rasterid --> they are correct
    - checked the rdt table --> objects with that rid are saved
    - checked the mdsys.sdo_geor_sysdata table --> entry is correct
    - validate the geraster with the sdo_geor.validategeoraster function --> object is valid
    - updated the spatial extend of the image and try again the preview functio--> the same error
    The databse server is a virtual Linux server with Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - 64bit.
    The web server is a Window 2003 R2 Server with a weblogic server and mapviewer patch 5 (Ver1033p5_B081010).
    For a test I did the same (the same table script, the same raster data, the same import method) on a developer pc (WinXP Pro SP2) with Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 (32bit) the same mapbuilder version but with the MapViewer QuickStartKid and it works fine!!!
    Has anyone an idea?

    Hi Joao,
    Thanks so far.
    I'm previewing a GeoRaster theme. I created it with the MapBuilder GeoRaster wizard. The theme difinition is (out of the export file):
    RAS_DGK|
    null|
    RAS_DGK|
    GEORASTER|
    <?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>
    <styling_rules theme_type="georaster">
    </styling_rules>|
    (GeoRaster table name is "RAS_DGK", theme name is also "RAS_DGK")
    I get following log information:

  • Error : ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called

    Hi
    I got surprise issue while testing my Oracle code . Let me explain first the environment detail . Our appliaction built on
    Java/J2EE(Weblogic) and backend is Oracle 11g re2 . While calling from java it call thru different user which have been provide
    synonym and exectue option for corresponding procdure ,
    I created on package EXTRACT_CUSTOMER_INFO_PK which will exract data to text file using UTL_FILE ( direcory , UTL_FILE grant is provided to DB user).
    Now this package has been called from rp_execute_procedure_pr -- Here I is the code
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE RP_EXECUTE_PROCEDURE_PR
    i_atlas_job_schedule_fk IN atlas_job_schedule.atlas_job_schedule_pk%TYPE,
    i_job_id IN atlas_job.job_id%TYPE,
    i_parm_value IN atlas_job_schedule.parm_value%TYPE,
    o_status_code OUT NUMBER,
    o_status_mesg OUT VARCHAR2
    IS
    -------Other old code which is not relevent for this issue ----
    --------Other old code which is not relevent for this issue ----
    ----Below code I added ----
    ELSIF l_job_id = 'CUST_EXTRACT' THEN
    EXTRACT_CUSTOMER_INFO_PK.customer_report ( i_parm_value ,
                   o_status_code,
    o_status_mesg ) ;
    -- o_status_code := -99999999;
    --o_status_mesg := 'PARTHA PARTHA PARTHAcess terminated!';
    ELSE
    o_status_code := -20300;
    o_status_mesg := 'Job Id : ' || l_job_id || ' NOT found. Process terminated!';
    END IF;
    update_log_auto
    ajs_rec.atlas_job_schedule_pk ,
    'Processing End Time (GMT): '
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN eProcError THEN
    o_status_code := SQLCODE;
    o_status_mesg := SUBSTR(vMsg ||'-'||SQLERRM, 1, 200);
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
    o_status_code := -20300;
    o_status_mesg := SUBSTR(SQLERRM, 1, 200);
    update_log_auto
    ajs_rec.atlas_job_schedule_pk ,
    'Error : '||SQLERRM||' '
    update_log_auto
    ajs_rec.atlas_job_schedule_pk,
    'Processing End Time (GMT): '
    END RP_EXECUTE_PROCEDURE_PR;
    Now It compiled sucesfully . And while I did SIT then RP_EXECUTE_PROCEDURE_PR run fine and extracted txt file . But while I called it from Java procedure It gives us error like
    Error : ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called 02-AUG-2012 13:16:51.
    As I told RP_EXECUTE_PROCEDURE_PR old proc and used by other proc , So I first suspect issue is newly added code or may be some grant or synonym ( Although it should not be )
    so I created public synony amd gave execute grant to my pkg to public .
    But it repeat same error .
    I did lot of R&D on my pkg but nothing happen . Finally I remane my new pkg RP_EXTRACT_CUSTOMER_INFO_PK and it works fine
    I need to know what is the RCA for it . I donot think any dependecy issue as renaming pkg is working fine .
    NB my DB user is iATLAS and Javauser is SUDEEP
    Thanks in Advance
    Debashis Mallick

    First of all If i run the main procedure in like below in my Schema it is working fine
    begin
    -- Call the procedure
    rp_execute_procedure_pr(i_atlas_job_schedule_fk => :i_atlas_job_schedule_fk,
    i_job_id => :i_job_id,
    i_parm_value => :i_parm_value,
    o_status_code => :o_status_code,
    o_status_mesg => :o_status_mesg);
    end;
    So thre is no question of parameter .... or Invalid state etc . If it is parameter or Invalid state issue it will give other error.
    Here problem is not syntax issue .
    let me give u more detail regards this issue
    1.. All objects corresponding to procedure all Valid
    2.. If I test on the proc on my schema like above code . It works fine
    3.rp_execute_procedure_pr is a old procudere which called for differner report generartion based on parameter passing . Also as extract_customer_info_pk called with in rp_execute_procedure_pr So there is no question of synonym or privilage issue for new procedure.
    4. Suprising thing is if I rename and recreate package like extract_customer_info_pk _1 or rp_extract_customer_info_pk . Which are exactly same as extract_customer_info_pk and replace those new one with extract_customer_info_pk then it work fine in my java application
    I think I make it clear the issue
