Would I like to create a zero table?

Hey,
I am creating an encrypted HDD to install Arch 64 on, and I've just run dd to wipe and randomize the disk. Opening cfdisk to create the partitions (one boot, one for LVM), I am asked if I wish to create a zero table.
Not really sure what this is, and I assume I want to as saying no does nothing, but I wanted to find out what it actually meant? Almost sounded like it wanted to start zeroing out my random data, which would obviously be bad!

I am by no means an expert on crypto, but from what I have read the only definite advantage you get from this is that no one can easily see how full your disk is (respectively how full it was at some point in time). It also might make it more difficult to find out which encrytion is used and thus delay any attempt to break it. The way I see it, if you assume that your crypto will be broken, this doesn't help at all, as an attacker would just decrypt the whole partition.
Anyway, far be it from me to stop your healthy paranoia and having random data on the disk certainly doesn't hurt. Just keep in mind that things which seem obvious often are not when it comes to crypto.

Is it possible to create bidirectional multiselect tables? Help.

Hey everyone (once again since you are in fact great in helping me out),
I was wondering if it would be possible to create bidirectional multiselect tables to interact to each other, like the behaviour qlikview has, since thats my goal.
Imagine that i have 3 tables in my schema/database:
Departments (from HR schema), with the following attributes: department_id (primary key), department_name, manager_id, location_id;
Salary_by_job (created for this purpose), with the following attributes: job_id (primary key), department_id, salary, min_salary, max_salary;
Employees (from HR schema), with the following attributes: employee_id,......, job_id, salary, manager_id, department_id
Can it be possible to creat bidirectional multiselect tables?
Like the following:
- I click on a department, it shows the data relevant to that department in the salary_by_job table and in the employees table.
And after clicking that, i could click on one employee and the department table would look the same (because its a employee from the same department) but the salary_by_job would only show the information regarding the job_id from that employee.
I'll try to show it from text in here:
Department (selected row = 1) = Department of Information (which has 3 employees)
Employees = X (with the job_id = admin), Y (with the job_id = manager) and Z (with the job_id = intern)
Salary_by_job = Admin, with data bla bla bla, Manager, with the data bla bla bla and Intern, with the data bla bla bla
And next i would click on the Employee X and the result would be:
Department (selected row = 1) = Department of Information (which has 3 employees)
Employees = X (with the job_id = admin)
Salary_by_job = Admin, with data bla bla bla
Can something like that be done? If so, how?
I'm thinking of doing that with bindings attached to each table and having the bindings go back and forth.
If someone has a idea of how to do this, please respond, it may be usefull.

Have you tried adding a setPropertyListener for the tables and change the collectionModel for the 3rd table accordingly?
Ex : Assume you have three tables, Parent (VL)->Child (VL)->GrandChild. There is a relation between Parent (VL)->GrandChild.
Now, you can have tree bindings for both the GrandChilds (say GrandChildViaParent and GrandChildViaChild).
Your jspx could be something like
<af:table id="parent" value="#{bindings.Parent.collectionModel}"...... />
<af:table id="child" value="#{bindings.Child.collectionModel}"...../>
<af:table id="grandchild" value="#{bindings.GrandChild.collectionModel}" ..../>
If all your tables are read-only, then you could change this to something like
<af:table id="parent" value="#{bindings.Parent.collectionModel}"...... >
<af:setPropertyListener from="Parent" to="#{viewScope.tableName}" type="selection"/>
</af:table>
<af:table id="child" value="#{bindings.Child.collectionModel}".....>
<af:setPropertyListener from="Child" to="#{viewScope.tableName}" type="selection"/>
</af:table>
<af:table id="grandchild" partialTriggers="parent child" value="#{viewScope.tableName=='Parent'?bindings.GrandChildViaParent.collectionModel:bindings.GrandChildViaChild.collectionModel}" ..../>
This is just a sample. You could implement the same for all the properties in the grandchild table as EL to make it editable as well.
This is without coding. If you care to code a bit, you could use a Dynamic Table in place and bind the value accordingly in each of the table's selectionListener (which would be a neat approach)

I would like to create a Z-table, fill it with values and then transport everything.
This table will not be updated in the productions system.
Delivery class = C Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import
Data Browser/table view maint = Display/maintenance allowed
Field: MANDT, etc. etc.
Technical settings: Data class = APPL1, Size = 0, Buffering switched on, Fully buffered.
I also create the Table maintenance generator
When I fill my table with values, these will not be saved in my change request.
What I'm doing wrong?

Fungroup group (inthe function group u give any a z name related to ur table name it create automatically)
package
maintenance screen type and screen name
After this save and activate.
Then goto
Utilities>TABLE CONTENTS>CREATE ENTERIES

Is there a simple way to create tables in Captivate 6 and make it 508 compliant?

Can you elaborate what sort of table would you like to create?

Not liking the Tab Group option. Would just like a second row of tabs.

Previous suggestion was to use Tab Groups. (Oh and I did upgrade Firefox)
After playing with the Tab Group option features, it's just not what I'm looking for, or something that would best suit my desires and needs.
Would just like to create a second line of tabs after the first line exceeds the regular window size. Similar to just like adding a tool bar at the top of the page.
Wouldn't think doing such a thing would be a big issue. I'm sure Tab Group windows works great for some, but just not for me.
Wouldn't want to 'squeeze' each tab down so they will all fit across the window, like what happens in the lower taskbar as more and more windows are opened either. It would get to a point to where you couldn't read what the tabs are for.
I think an option for a second line of tabs would be ideal when one needs to have more than 6 tabs opened.
Does this option even exist in Firefox? If so, how can I set it up? If not, how does one suggest a feature like this to Firefox?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Click on your account name in the top right corner of the iTunes store in the iTunes application on your computer, enter your password and click the "view account" button. Navigate to the Apple ID summary where you have the option to "change country or region".
In order to change your location, you will need a credit card registered to an address in the location you are trying to change to.
You cannot change your location if you have credit on your account, if you are unable to spend your credit and leave a balance of zero, contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support.

I would like to create a 'File Upload' in a 'form based on stored procedure'. The version of portal that I am running is 3.0.7.6.2. In this version, only 'form based on table' has the ability to upload files. Or is it that I am missing something?
Please let me know if this is possible in higher versions of portal.

I have kin od fdone this by using the additem fucntion, if you look at the HTML of the add file page, you can see the parameter that are required for the form.

Because Keynote does not have the industrial-strength tools to handle long form text and large numbers of graphics. Create a new ID:
On the iPod go to
- Settings>Messages>Send and receive and sign out your ID and sign into the other one. Make sure that only her ID email address is listed.
- Settings>FaceTime sign out of your ID and sign into the other one. Make sure that under You can be reached at only the newID email address is listed
- Settings>iCloud and sign out and sign in with the new one
- Settings>iTunes and App Store and sign out your ID and sign in with the new one.
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

I would like to create a multipurpose graph display - how?

Hi all, I would like to create a simple VI, it has multiple sets of information and signal inputs (Signal generators or DAQmx cards), and whilst all the information is important, i don't need to see them all at the same time. instead I would like to create an oscilloscope-like display (one large graphical display), and boolean buttons that allow me to select which signals I want to display on the screen (graph).
So there two options, 1 boolean button to show only that waveform, and other boolean button to toggle on/off the waveform on the screen (means I can either show one dedicated waveform or show all the waveforms at the same time) this will allow me to compare the waveforms or just to focus on one particular waveform.
I was thinking of a case-structure to turn on/off the waveform for display on the graph, but how do i do that?
Help will be really appreciated!

two notes:
1) How to change the visibility of plots is a more common question one may think - so do a little search on the forum...
2) LV2011 allows to set visibility of plots right from the plot legend, you don't need additional boolean buttons for that purpose...

I would like to create full free access folder

I would like to create a folder with full permissions to anyone.
However, I would like anything that is created or copied to that directory to also gain these permissions.
I should mention that I'm usually a pc user and I'm trying to solve a problem to my sister.
My original problem is with InDesign.
I have two users in two computer (iMac and MacBook Pro).
That creates 4 different users (or only 2 I'm not sure how it works).
When a user start working with a folder of indesign's files which are all have free permissions it's all fine.
However, when the user creates new files and add them to the folder, the new files has the user's permissions.
That means that other user may not be able to overwrite those files.
Therefore, making anything in a common folder with the same full permission can solve my problem.
If you have any other suggestion I will glad to hear them as well.

I don't know since I don't share anything. You'll have to peruse the help files and check the permissions and ACLs on the Shared folder. According to the permissions on the Shared folder everyone can R&W. If you want those to be inherited by everything dropped into the folder, add an ACL for
everyone allow read, write
Details in the manpage for chmod. The actual steps are left as an exercise.
