Would like to restrict webpulish of queries by report id?

Is there a way to restrict webpublishing (S_RS_TOOLS) by report id component?

Hello RoseMary,
Are these BEX reports? There are some ACL files via which you can restrict the program ID's of reports.
Not sure whether we are talking about the same thing though.

  • Small Business would like B-ACD (Native Queuing?) but reporting also - Anyone use Imagicle Queue Manager Enterprise?

We have a small company that would like to have basic call queuing only.  No database lookups or desktop clients required.
I was just going to use the BE6K's Native Call Queuing but it looks like the reporting options are limited.  And with my short timeframe I am not sure I can verify that third party reporting applications will get any data from the CDR records that would report back time in Queue, etc.
RTMT will gather some data - but it is not linked to the CDR information so somehow the data would have to be combined.
Searching around I did find Imagicle's product and it looks like it does simple queuing and has some good reporting options for it.
Has anyone had a small (25 phones total) deployment that wanted detailed call flow and queuing but without UCCX?
We are up against a hosted solution that looks like they have some nice call reporting options and the BE6K / CCM 9.X built in call reporting is horrible (a major issue for quite some time).
I know third party apps will pull basic call data - but we need detailed call flow - "Cradle to Grave" with some sort of Queuing solution.
Any ideas would be great - I have a day to try to salvage this sale since the hosted solution looks pretty attractive compared to Cisco's default offering.

  • Restricting access to Queries via Search

Does anyone have any ideas on restricting access to queries from the Bex search. We have folks that are using the search functionality of Bex and are finding queries that we have not been published to a reporting role. We instruct our query writers that when devloping queries, do not publish them to a reporting role until they are finalized and tested. We are finding that folks are using search in Bex and finding these queries that may be in the middle of development and trying ot use them. In other words, we would like to restrict the Bex search to just queries published to reporting roles.

    Hi Diago,
Our dilema is that restricting access of the search by query name (via the role) requires the query writer, when finished with the development of their query, to do a savas with a different technical name that falls into the role restrictions of the authorization. This then leaves two versions of the query out there until the original gets deleted, if the query writer happens to remember to do that. It would be great to limit the search mechanism to just published queries. What are other folks doing to get around this issue. It seems that everyone would be running into it unless the search could be restricted in such a manner.

  • Restricting Access to the Certain Reporting Components

    Hello Gurus!
I would like to restrict the user's access to the following:
1.) The INFORMATION Tab on the Bex Ad Hoc Query
    2.) The INFORMATION BROADCASTING Tab
3.) The Exceptions and Conditions Button
4.) The Export To CSV Button
Is that even possible?  If it is possible, can some kind soul out there be good enough to tell me how to do this please?
    Thank you very much,
    Philips

These are all on the 0ADHOC query template. You can just create a copy of this template and modify it to meet your requirements in the Web Application Designer, then assign the new template to be your default template.
    Hope this helps...

That is stealing. Your friend has no right/licence to give the songs to you. It violates copyright law.

    Hi,
The only way to understand your data output is a Query. And BEx which is a component of BW is a reporting tool.
    Hope this helps.

  • I would like to know if I'm restricted too a certain amount of thumbnails in my elements 11 organizer??

I would like to know if I'm restricted too a certain amount of thumbnails in my elements 11 organizer??

No there is not a limit. Organizer doesn't physically hold photos. It simply makes links to the files in your folders. So the catalog itself is usually quite modest in size.

  • My husband and I share an itunes account, our child now has an ipod as well and we would like to be able to share SOME music w/her and RESTRICT some as well, is there a way to do this under one account?

Will we have to create a seperate account for her, or can we all have the same one?  I would like to avoid 'checking' and 'unchecking' individual songs every time one of us tries to synch our ipods to the library.
    PLEASE HELP!!!

FYI: iTunes account (used to make purchases) is not the same as iTunes library (iTunes on your computer with music, movies, etc.).

You can but you will not be able to limit what she syncs.
I would like to avoid 'checking' and 'unchecking' individual songs every time one of us tries to synch our ipods to the library.
I don't recommend using (only) the checkmarks to select what to sync.
Each of you can create your own playlists then sync only those playlists.
Then add/delete from your own playlists to change iPod content.
The only time I uncheck items is if I rarely/never want to sync them to anything, such as Christmas music or old audiobooks.
I suggest you each have your own computer login account. Then everyone has their own contacts, calendars, and everything else.
You and your husband can share an iTunes library and let your daughter have her own.

  • Why does the iPad not support flash player? I would like to watch programming from att uverse but cannot because of this restriction

Why does the iPad not support flash player? I would like to watch programming from att uverse but cannot because of this restriction

Because NOTHING that is iOS supports Flash. Never has never will.
The only possible option is to try the Skyfire browser from the App store. It is an internet browser that converts flash to HTML 5 so that you can attempt to view it on iOS devices.
I have never tried it so I can tell you if it is any good, but it has gotten decent reviews.

  • I have been using icloud for itunes and aps purchases, but now I would like to create a new icloud account so that my calendars sync without having to plug in ... how do I do this, as my phone won't let me change the icloud account

My husband and I have been using our iCloud account for music and ap purchases only.  I have decided that i would like to now create a new icloud account so that i can sync my calendar and contacts.  I read about doing this online and it looks simple and easy ... and yet, when i go to switch it on my iphone, there is only 1 place for an icloud account (our shared account) and it is greyed out so that I cannot change it.  How do I do this?

Whenever a menu choice is grayed out, that is because you have Restrictions turned on in Settings.  Be sure to turn it off.
You are confusing an itunes store account with an icloud account.  You two can continue using the same ID for itunes (thus sharing purchased music, apps, etc.), but you really should have separate accounts (different IDs) for icloud, since an account is intended for one user to keep his/her devices in sync.
To create a new icloud account, go to
    http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
Then go to Settings>icloud and scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Delete Account.  (have restrictions turned off)  That will disconnect the device from the account but will not delete data in icloud or other devices.  Then sign in using the new ID.

have been a Verizon customer since I got my first cell phone in my 30's - I am 50 now! A year ago, I stupidly opted to get a new phone on the EDGE program because I was trying my first Samsung device and was not sure I would like it having been an IPhone user for years.I was right! Or so I thought.... The Note 3 has been horrible. I am on my second phone(replaced it under warranty) and it still freezes, shuts off on its own, and will not come back on for long periods of time. Having had enough, I decided to EDGE Up to another device. On March 16th I tried to edge up my device online but was unable to. I immediately called to figure out what the problem was. Back in October I had a mix up in my billing where I had set up a payment. It was not done properly by customer service and as a result my line was cut off. I called the EXACT day it went off, filed a complaint about the lack of follow through for my arranged payment, and thought I had it straightened out as the payment was made that same day. That incident, although it was a Verizon error, caused my Edge Contract to be "hotlined". I spent an hour on the phone on March 16th clearing the whole mess up. When the conversation ended, the Verizon representative admitted it was a Verizon error, documented everything, and then told me she was filing a release for the hotline hold that would take a couple of days. Her name was Linda and I stupidly trusted what she said.
The days passed as I prepared to have a major foot surgery and to get my classroom straight before I would be out recovering for 3 weeks. All the time, my Samsung continued to glitch out like it has since I got it! While sitting on the couch recovering, I decided to deal with the phone issue again and EDGE UP. I figured 10 days latter, Linda would have taken care of the issue. Unfortunately, I faced the same problem and was told it was not eligible to edge up at this time. BACK on the phone again, 2 supervisors, 3 customer service reps. ( JOE from New York being the rudest customer service rep. I have EVER worked with) and 4 frustrating HOURS latter, Jason, the equally rude supervisor from Rochester, New York, informed me that Linda gave me BAD information, there was NOTHING he could do, and I am NOT eligible until April 14th!!!!! The WORST experience I have EVER had with a company. They were completely inept, rude, and not concerned about my time, my frustration, or the problems I was facing with their product in the LEAST. I have 4 LINES on Verizon that I am going to talk to Sprint about buying out. It was a horrible experience, and I can NOT believe I have no recourse or anyone to talk to....

Edge has very clear restrictions, one being that you must have 6 months of clean payment history which you don't. Either wait until April 14, or good luck at Sprint.
I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions.

  • My husband and I share an itunes account and would like to share SOME music with our kid as well but NOT all, can we do that on the same account?

Or do we have to set up a seperate account for her?  I would like to be able to share 'certain' songs with her but restrict others without having to 'check' and 'uncheck' songs individually every time we try to synch.  Is there a way to do this or not?  Also, FYI she has not synched to our library at ALL just yet since I am trying to figure out a way for this to work easily, and for her to be able to purchase songs with her gift card....but my husband and I do not want those songs to synch to our ipod.  Only the songs that we are going to purchase.  Does that make sense??:)
    THANKS!!

Okay, so I just got around to 'trying' to create and Apple ID for my daughter for her ipod as suggested above BUT I accidentally used her b-day and of course she is not old enough!!!  So then I got off the internet etc and tried to create an apple ID for her using my b-day and it still would NOT let me, saying that I do not meet the minimum age reqirements!:(  I am SO frusterated right now...it is not like I was going to let her have any control over what she purchases anyways, seeing as how she is 7yr. and we are generally strict about what she listens to.  Is there any way that I can do this for her?
    Thanks!

  • Would like assistance with multiple devices with multiple iTunes accounts syncing on one PC

I have had an iPhone for some years now and have been syncing with my PC without issue (first with iPhone 3gs and now with iPhone 4s). My wife bought me an iPad 3 retina in December 2012 which syncs with the same PC as my phone and shares the same iTunes account. Apps downloaded onto one device are automatically downloaded to the other, iMessages are sent and received to both devices also.
My Wife now has an iPad mini with retina (using her own existing iTunes account which she previously used for an iPhone she no longer uses). I synchronised her new iPad mini with my PC assuming iTunes would manage the device and related account and contents separately to my existing account and 2 devices. However this has caused an issue with the sharing of apps. Since doing so I have started seeing updates available on my devices for apps which I have never downloaded, but my wife has.  If I tell my iPad to update said apps, I am asked for my Wife's iTunes account password.
On doing some searching via google I now understand that I should have created a second windows profile on my PC for my wife and installed iTunes onto this profile for the purposes of syncing her device.
I would very much like to do this, but would like some assistance on the best course of action for doing so. If I proceed and created a second profile and sync her device to this, I presume I would need to tell iTunes to treat her iPad as a new device (and wonder what would happen to her existing content)? Assuming we do this, I presume the issue of my seeing her app updates would still persist?
Could someone advise if they have any experience with similar issues/queries?
