[WPSL]Shell toast notification displaying only limited contents in push notification windows phone

Hi, I have implement push notification services for my Windows app . I used shell toast to display the notification on my app. The notification does come through but is cut-off - displaying only limited contents, I need the whole
set of contents to be displayed on the notification. I don't have much idea of windows app 's push services , can any one help please ?

This is by design, ShellToast will only show the limited content, this is consistent with the design principle of notification, see

Present information in the simplest possible form. If your content doesn't require a headline, omit it. A message such as "Your download is complete." is entirely complete and needs no additional presentation.

Microsoft Band adding some tiles using Health app displays "Notifications are not supported in this version of Windows Phone"

Adding some tiles to my Band shows the 'Notifications are not supported in this version of Windows Phone' error.
The affected tiles include calls, mail, Facebook, Cortana and Facebook messenger. My Lumia 1520 is running on the latest version of WP8.1 Preview for Developers. Why is this the case?

Never mind. It's actually working now.
The health app wasn't presenting me with a request to access notifications. Strangely on the 4th or 5th time opening the app it did.

In the Apple Push Notification Service,How long does a push notification sit in queue before being removed?

Official developer documentation isn't clear about this.
Apple Push Notification Service includes a default Quality of Service (QoS) component that performs a store-and-forward function. If APNs attempts to deliver a notification but the device is offline, the QoS stores the notification. It retains only one notification per application on a device: the last notification received from a provider for that application. When the offline device later reconnects, the QoS forwards the stored notification to the device. The QoS retains a notification for a limited period before deleting it.

This is an iPad user to user forum, so you are not addressing Apple. We have no way to know what and when Apple will do something.

Display Image in Fullscreen like in Gallery (Windows Phone 8.1 SDK)

Hello everyone,
Maybe this is a so simple Task and I should be embarassed...however I currently just don't know how to do it. I am writing an app where I Display several Images in a Pivot Template. I know nothing about These Images as I am getting them from the Internet
and every Image can have a different Resolution.
I thought of displaying them like in the Gallery - As Fullscreen as possible and a double Tap makes them Zoom- and Scrollable. I thought of doing this via a Scrollviewer but have no Idea how. My current Markup is like this:

Hi,
I think you have to use FlipView Control in order to render collection images into one possible UI element. It can be swiped to change the images. You make full screen also. You can use in both windows and windows phone.

How to change the Button content as CamelCasing in Windows phone 8.1 Message dialog

This was already raised in
Stack over flow, While showing the native Message dialog in Windows phone, i cant change the captions as camel case of command buttons. Is this a bug with windows phone 8.1(WinRT) are is there any workaround to fix this issue?

This isn't recommended and violates the system style.
If you want a custom dialog you need to use a different control. The MessageDialog always lower cases the buttons to match the system style and is not generally customizable.
If you use a ContentDialog you can customize it fairly extensively, and it doesn't try to fix the case of its buttons. You'll probably want to create your own ContentDialog class (there's a template under Add.New Item...) with your desired contents, but here's
a quick content-free example:

cd.Title = "My Title";
cd.PrimaryButtonText = "CoNtInUe";
cd.SecondaryButtonText = "sToP";
await cd.ShowAsync();
Also note that the guidelines
for message dialogs suggest using clear and specific verbs rather than generic OK/Cancel.

Is there any addon (or somthing else) to SIMULATE ie9s "display only secure content"

i tried https everywhere and forcing with no script fruitlessly

Hmm, well, many hours later, I have a Greasemonkey userscript that clears many insecure elements, but it doesn't work on scripts. By the time I edit or delete the script tag, Firefox has already requested the script. So I think it will take a real add-on.

Display only limited desired values for an infobject in selection screen

HI Gurus,
I have a requirement as follows.
After executing query, in the selection screen I should only able to find my desired values instead of all the values of master data table.
Example : Select from:
After executing query, in the selection screen of BEx Analyzer, for the infobject Status (0CRM_USSTAT) I should find below values only instead of all values from the dataprovider or master data table. That means only desired values should be available in the F4 selection. Can you please now tell me how to restrict this?

Go to your Variable screen click the Adjacent Multiple selection Arrow button, Give the values
New
Open
In Process
Closed
Rejected
Overdue
Now click copy --> immdiatly click the adjacent button --> Click personalize Variable Value,
Next time onwards when you get variable screen --> click the last buton and Load Personalize Values --> if you click the multiple selections then u will see only the above values..

Duke's bookstore2 displays only one book title

When I run Duke's bookstore2 from the Tutorial (Chapter 12: JavaServer Pages Technology: The Example JSP Pages), I'm not getting any error messages, but instead of seeing the graphical "Duke's Bookstore" heading followed by a horizontal line and "Please choose from our selections:" the only display I'm actually seeing at http://localhost:1024/bookstore2/bookstore is this single link:
"Web Components for Web Developers,"
and when I View Source for the page, I see only this:

It seems to be displaying only the contents of one data set, rather than the data for all the books as part of a complete HTML page. (But when I open the pointbase console and "select * from books;" I see details for all 7 books in the table. So the full table is populated in the database.)
When I click on that single link, I go to this URL:
http://dar2000:1024/bookstore2/bookstore?bookId=203
where I still see only one line with that one book title and nothing else on the page.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Actually, I did add the prelude and coda pages in the JSP Properties tab.
But, when I entered "/*.jsp" under URL Patterns on that same JSP Properties page, I did not erase first the "/URL_properties" that appeared there by default, so I ended up with "/URL_properties/*.jsp" in that field.
When I reduced that to "/*.jsp" the complete page displayed, including the bookstore header, clock applet, Start Shopping link, copyright info, etc.

Please suggest, as per client requirement, we need to change the mail content, when the 'Notification' Button is clicked in Cfolder by a user for an RFx in SRM.
Currently we see mail content on click of Cfolder as below:

Document "New Document" is part of collaboration "Technical Details".

The input or display only attribute of table contorl fileds

HI,experts
in the program there is one parameter p_recount.
in my table control ,there are 5 columns, f1 f2 f3 f4 f5
f1 f2 f3 is display only, and if p_recount = 00.,f4 f5 may input but if p_recount != 00.
f4 f5 also display only.
and when i push the "new" button,all the 5 fileds are input fields.
when i use LAY OUT to set attributes for the fields,the input/output attributes may not change
i think.
if there is some way to do this in the program use code?
how to do this?

Server Push Notification via Applescript

I am running a Mac Mini Server 10.9.
I know that I can display a system notification by via AppleScript by doing:
display notification "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet" with title "Title"
However; I would like to push a custom notification down to my iCloud enabled devices using Apple's Notification Protocol, bundled with server.
For example purposes- My server is on a public IP address, which is dynamic. If it changes, I have a bash script setup to send me an email with the new IP address. I was hoping to utilize Apple's Notification tools to provide a more elegant solution for accomplishing these type of notifications.

For push notification, you have to use security profile as "Notification" and have to add required role as "Notification User". You can also add other authentication providers as you mentioned for MYSAPSSO2.
Settings>Security profiles>Notification(Cannot be deleted)
For APNs traffic to get past your firewall, you'll need to open these ports:
TCP port 5223 (used by devices to communicate to the APNs servers)
TCP port 2195 (used to send notifications to the APNs)
TCP port 2196 (used by the APNs feedback service)
TCP Port 443 (used as a fallback on Wi-fi only, when devices are unable to communicate to APNs on port 5223)

Push Notifications to APNS Fail 50% of the Time

Sending a notification to an iOS device fails half the time with this error:
The Push Notification System returned an Internal Server Error
Here is my setup:
Free Trial version of Azure
Sandbox certificates uploaded to a Mobile Service/Notification Hub
App developed with PhoneGap and built using Adobe's PhoneGap Build service
Using the com.microsoft.azure-mobile-services Cordova plugin
I am able to use either the DEBUG page on the Azure site, Visual Studio 2013 (Server Explorer -> Azure), or the ServiceBusExplorer open source program to send test JSON messages to Apple. It works, half the time, and the other half of the time I
receive the error above.
Steps to reproduce:
Open Visual Studio --> Server Explorer --> Azure. It points to my trial account.
Context-click on my Notification Hub a pick "Diagnose"
Under Device Registrations, I delete any registrations I've previously accumulated. There are now no device registrations.
Delete and re-install the test app on the iPhone (iOS 8)
Launch the test app. A new registration appears in the notification hub. The type is "Native." (I've also had problems with "Template.")
Go to the Test Send tab; Recipient: Broadcast; Message Type: Apple (Default)
I am using the default, sample notification (but I get similar outcomes with other JSON messages):

Hit "Send"; It fails. Under "Message Result:," for my single registration I have this error message: "The Push Notification System returned an Internal Server Error"

Wait another 90 seconds, hit Send again. The notification fails
with the same Internal Server Error that it did the first time.
Wait another 90 seconds, hit Send again. It works perfectly just like it did on the second attempt.
Overall it is working about half the time. In the example above, it worked every-other time, but this is not always the case--it can succeed multiple times in a row or fail multiple times in a row. I'm not changing the JSON at all between
the above test messages. Even if I vary the JSON, I get the same outcome. I get similar outcomes regardless of whether I do the testing through Visual Studio (above), the Azure portal (the DEBUG tab), or through the ServiceBusExplorer program.
What is causing this? How do I troubleshoot this?

I don't have an answer for you, but I wanted to chime in because I am having problems as well. I get the same "The Push Notification System returned an Internal Server Error" message trying to send a test push via either the Debug tab in the manage.windowsazure.com
console or in Visual Studio.
I have been focused on troubleshooting this problem since yesterday (Saturday February 21) but I believe it has been happening quite a bit longer.
At one point I was able to get some notifications through after clearing all the registrations, but now it is failing again. I have had the same certificate since last April (2014) and it has worked fine, so I know the certificate setup is good.
More data points:
using the SimplePush PHP script from
raywenderlich.com with the same certificate, the notifications go through immediately.
Normally we send notifications from our Mobile Service using the Javascript backend, and it gets a "success" response from the Notification Hub even when it fails, e.g.

We have another notification hub with our production certificate, and it seems to be working better.

IPhone 4s Wifi button dimmed and Push Notifications aren't working.

My wifi button has been dimmed out for 4 months and only just recently my push notifications havent been working.
My phone has been updated to the iOS 7.1
and no changes to my problems have occured.
How the wifi button doesnt work:
- I tap on button nothing happens
- i can still use my data/credit
- i swipe up the screen,and tap on the wifi button,it turns on but wifi doesnt come up
- its not a dead spot on the screen
How Push Notifications dont work:
-Facebook,Twitter,Tumblr,Instagram etc wont show any notification signs
-i have to go onto the app to recieve my notifications
- text messgaes still pop up on my lock screen
I dont know if these sort of problems should be taken to the Apple store,im uncertain on to how much it would cost to get my phone fixed due to i have no warrenty on my phone.
It would be appreciated if you could help me with anything you know that could help me fix my phone.
