Write to resource before deprovision

I am looking to write to a resource (Export in form below) before a deprovision occurs for a feedop of delete. I was planning on using a workflow for this, but can not seem to get a modified version of the Delete User workflow to write something to a resouce before the deprovision step. Note the resource account that I am updating will not be deleted as part of the deprovisioning. My current delete form is:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
<!DOCTYPE Configuration PUBLIC 'waveset.dtd' 'waveset.dtd'>
<Configuration name='CustomActiveSyncDeleteForm' wstype='UserForm'>

          <Field name='accounts[Export].action'>
                    <Expansion>

          </Form>
     </Extension>
     <MemberObjectGroups>
          <ObjectRef type='ObjectGroup' id='#ID#Top' name='Top' />

</Configuration>

The previous advice is right: read the tutorial and examples!
However, in attachment is an example that does what you need.

  • Is there any way to check resources before serving a request?

    Hello all,
    I need to know is there is some way in Weblogic 10.3 to set some kind of resource checker before fulfilling a request?
    For example if the heap memory is almost full, deny the request etc
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
    You may try add a MBean code in a filter and check for threshold.
    Or you can use a script to change the port when the heap reaches threshold.
    You can write a threshold script to check the heap size and change to adminport( something like - cmo.setAdministrationPort(9092))when heap reaches the threshold.
    You can check the script Monitoring the JVM Heap Size in the following link
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13222_01/wls/docs92/config_scripting/config_WLS.html

  • Whcih function to use to cleanup/release resources before application exit?

    I need to release system resources and cleanup etc before my JavaFX application exits?
    Where should I write the code?

    In [javafx.lang.FX|http://java.sun.com/javafx/1.2/docs/api/javafx.lang/javafx.lang.FX.html] class, there is the static function addShutdownAction() which is called when the application exits.
    You can register several functions.
    But some people report issues, like being unable to do an HTTP request to save parameters on server in these callback functions (the application exists before completion).

  • How to write select statement before the loop and how to use read statemnt

    Hi,
    Recently our system has changed from 4.6 to ECC6.
    As its migrated its showing lots of errors like in between loop and endloop there should be no select statemnt........
    Can any one please tell how to write that coding in ECC6 , how can i change the code......
    In between loop and endloop i am having lots of select statemnts.....ple tell thye coding how can i select before the loop starts and
    how to read that internal table in loop.

    Hi Deepthi,
    You can do as per below:
    1) Select the required entries from the tables you need (VBAK, VBAP, KNA1, etc)
    SELECT VBELN ERDAT KUNNR
        into table it_vbak
        from VBAK
    where VBELN = S_VBELN. "Selection criteria
    If sy-subrc = 0.
    SELECT VBELN POSNR MATNR
        into table it_vbap
        from VBAP
    for all entries in it_vbak
    where VBELN = it_vbak-vbeln
    SELECT KUNNR NAME1
        into table it_vbak
        from VBAK
    where VBELN = it_vbak-vbeln.
    endif.
    2) Loop at the entries, and read internal table it-kna1 for customer info.
    Loop at it_vbak into wa_vbak.
    read table it_kna1 into wa_kna1 with key kunnr = wa_vbak-kunnr.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
    endif.
    loop at it_vbap into wa_vbap where vbeln = wa_vbak-vbeln.
    endloop.
    endloop.
    This is the basic idea and short example of how to extract entries and read internal table.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Patrick

  • Checking resources before dispatching, how to

    My code performes extensive content searching routines on all most all the files of the workstation.
    I want my appliction to do its task calmly, with utilizing the least resources as it can, when some other application are using the resources.
    Is there any way of keeping track of system resources utilization, and dispatching our routines.
    Any advice or links with this kind of stuff will be fine.
    Thanx in advance.
    Nas.

    What "resources" are you asking about?

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
    Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
    While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
    Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
    After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
    *Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
    Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
    After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

  • How to resolve the hang-up of TNT4882 after write-transfer

    Hi,
        My GPIB device based on TNT4882  can correctly receive the data sent from my VISA app using viPrintf, and my GPIB device can also write data to my VISA app using viRead through GPIB, like "Acery,XXXXX,xxxxxxxxx,2.5-5.20-23". But Everytime my VISA app always poped up an TIMEOUT error on the function of viRead and I showed the maybe receiving data, my VISA app can show the correct data "Acery,XXXXX,xxxxxxxxx,2.5-5.20-23". Not only the VISA app pops up the TIMEOUT error, but also that my gpib program running on my device could not detect the termination condition like END,EOS,ERR,B_done,B_tlcint after it sent out the data .  I have no idea on how to solve this problem so far.
        The GPIB program for sending out data  in Programed I/O mode is coded following the example of ESP-488 (http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/223/lang/en) in the dir of ESP-488\NOTNT\NGPIB_IO.c and EX5.c)  as an example. I cannot find any defect about the register programming.
    Now I would show the write-data code sequence:
             When I detect the TNT4882 is in Talker mode from ADSR, I will call the initializing writing code for writing-data-transfer:
    TNT_Out(R_cmdr,F_resetfifo);
      TNT_Out(R_cnt0, (char)(twos_cnt));      /* Load twos compliment count     */
      TNT_Out(R_cnt1, (char)(twos_cnt>>8));   /*  into TNT count registers      */
      TNT_Out(R_cnt2, (char)(twos_cnt>>16));
      TNT_Out(R_cnt3, (char)(twos_cnt>>24));
      TNT_Out(R_imr0,B_glint);              /* Set write to imr0 to be sure   */
      TNT_Out(R_auxmr,HR_auxrj|0);          /*   B_to is cleared              */
      TNT_Out(R_imr1, B_err);         /* End transfer on err            */
      TNT_Out(R_eosr, 0);        /* Set EOS byte                   */
      TNT_Out(R_auxmr,HR_auxra|F_hlda)
      TNT_Out(R_cfg , (B_tlchlte | CCEN ));  // I don`t set time-out attribute.
      TNT_Out(R_auxmr,F_hldi);               /* Hold off immediately           */
      TNT_Out(R_cmdr, F_go);
    During the writing-data-transfer, I use the status of END|EOS|ERR|B_done|B_tlcint to
    control the data transfer. All the data is written to FIFOB for sending out.
           After aborting transfer of writing:
     TNT_Out(R_cmdr,F_stop);
     TNT_Out(R_cmdr,F_resetfifo);
     if(TNT_In(R_isr1)&B_end)                /* If we received an END          */
        TNT_Out(R_auxmr,F_clrEND);            /*   Clear status bit             */
     if(TNT_In(R_isr1)&B_err) {
        TNT_Out(R_auxmr,F_clrERR);            /* Clear error bit                */
     if(io_type==OUTPUT) {
          TNT_Out(R_hssel,F_onechip|B_go2sids); /* if error set to idle state.    */
    Now I showed up some registers of TNT4882 during different phase.
    registers after initialization of write-transfer and before write-transfer:
    isr0 0x21
    isr1 0x0
    isr3 0x48
    adsr ox4a
    sasr 0x70
    sts1 0x10
    sts2 0x9a
    bsr  0x21
    registers after write-transfer:
    isr0 0x21
    isr1 0x2
    isr3 0x48
    adsr ox4a
    sasr 0x70
    sts1 0x10
    sts2 0x9a
    bsr  0x21
    registers after a few seconds(TNT was still Talker):
    isr0 0x21
    isr1 0x0
    isr3 0x48
    adsr ox4a
    sasr 0x70
    sts1 0x10
    sts2 0x9a
    bsr  0x31
           After write-transfer, my device program cannot detect any condition of ERR,END,EOS,DONE,TLCINT in
    isr0,isr1,isr2, isr3 to do the post-termination action.
           As you can see, some registers above almost donn`t change. I really donn`t know how to solve the
    TIMEOUT problem and how to notify my VISA app that the transfer is completed.
           At last could you give me an example of how to initialize the write-transfer?

    Can you try below, maybe it is helpful for you:
    This error may occurs when the interrupt line (IRQ) of the AT-GPIB/TNT interface is not configured properly. This incorrect configuration makes it so that the interrupts generated by the GPIB hardware are not detected by the GPIB driver. The GPIB hardware cannot notify the software that any operation is complete. Make sure the appropriate IRQ value was used when installing the module:
    If you are using a non plug and play AT-GPIB/TNT, make sure that the jumper settings match the value used when configuring the driver module.
    If you are using a plug and play AT-GPIB/TNT, make sure the value in the file generated by the isadump utility matches the one used when configuring the driver module.
    In both cases, if the appropriate IRQ value was used when configuring the driver module, try changing the IRQ value used. Remove the module and re-install with the new resource settings. For more information on configuring the resources for plug and play AT-GPIB/TNT interfaces, refer to the README and README.PNP text files included with the nigpib package.

  • Active Directory + Resource action to delete home directory

    Hi all,
    I am trying to delete home directory from the disk physically after the user is deleted from AD. I followed the link http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6551/bzbuc?a=view and implemented the delete resource action as mentioned in the link.
    here are the steps i followed (For testing, I mentioned delete >> C:\test.txt to see if it deletes the text file)
    1. Enter delete after action in the Identity Manager User Attribute column of the resource’s schema map.
    2. In the Attribute Type column, select string.
    3. In the Resource User Attribute column, enter IGNORE_ATTR. Leave the Required, Audit, Read Only, and Write Only columns unchecked.
    4. Add this to the Deprovision Form user form after the </Include> tag:
    <Field name= ’resourceAccounts.currentResourceAccounts[AD].attributes.
    delete after action’>
    <Expansion>
    <s>AfterDelete</s>
    </Expansion>
    </Field>
    5. Create the following XML file and import into Identity Manager. (Change file paths according to your environment.)
    <?xml version=’1.0’ encoding=’UTF-8’?> <!DOCTYPE Waveset PUBLIC
    ’waveset.dtd’ ’waveset.dtd’>
    <Waveset>
    <ResourceAction name=’AfterDelete’>
    <ResTypeAction restype=’Windows Active Directory’ timeout=’6000’>
    <act>
    echo delete >> C:\test.txt
    exit
    </act>
    </ResTypeAction>
    </ResourceAction>
    </Waveset>
    6. Edit the XML for the Active Directory resource and add information to the “delete after action” schema mapping. Here is an example of a complete schema mapping for this resource with the new additions. (You will be adding the views-related information.)
    <AccountAttributeType id=’12’ name=’delete after action’ syntax=’string’
    mapName=’IGNORE_ATTR’ mapType=’string’>
    <Views>
    <String>Delete</String>
    </Views>
    </AccountAttributeType>
    To test, I deleted a user from AD and I was expecting the file c:\test.txt to be deleted as it invokes the Resource action after delete. Has anyone been successful in deleting the home directory from drive after the user is deleted. Any pointers or help
    Thanks,
    Ani

    Hi Gaurav,
    I have to implement Resource Action functionality for Solaris system. I followed the link http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E19225-01/820-6551/bzbuc/index.html and the first message of this thread. I am using 8.1 IDM.
    But unfortunately I can’t trigger any bash commands on the resource like echo deleting of user wiht next name - $WSUSER_accountId >> /tmp/resultFile.txt.
    There are any errors on log file.
    Can you share your work configuration and steps to reproduce?
    I have done next but Resource Action doesn’t triggered:
    1. My Action:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <!DOCTYPE Waveset PUBLIC 'waveset.dtd' 'waveset.dtd'>
    <Waveset>
    <ResourceAction name='AST-ResAct-SOL-AfterDelete'>
    <ResTypeAction restype='Solaris' timeout='6000'>
    <act>
    #!/usr/bin/bash
    echo deleting of user wiht next name - $WSUSER_accountId >> /tmp/resultFile.txt
    exit 0
    </act>
    </ResTypeAction>
    </ResourceAction>
    </Waveset>
    2. Added next line to “Deprovision Form”
    <Field name='resourceAccounts.currentResourceAccounts[SOLARIS 10].attributes.delete after action'>
    <Expansion>
    <s>AST-ResAct-SOL-AfterDelete</s>
    </Expansion>
    </Field>
    3. Added a new attribute mapping on the resource:
    <AccountAttributeType id='12' name='delete after action' syntax='string' mapName='IGNORE_ATTR' mapType='string'>
    </AccountAttributeType>
    4. Assigned role (this role provisioned resource to user) to user, delete user from resource via Deprovision IDM page. But my Action commands didn’t trigger on resource.
    Thanks’ in advance!

  • Arabic resource file problem

    i use jdeveloper 10.1.3 and windows xp
    i developed an hr application
    no i want my application to support both english and arabic language
    so i used windows notepad to write my resource file in arabic and english
    with english it worked good no problems
    but when i tried to save the arabic resource file on notepad
    i could not save it in ANSI format
    so i tried to save the file in a unicode or utf-8 format
    the problem is that when i try to a resource file in a format either that ANSI
    i does not work except with ANSI FORMAT file with arabic or english
    waiting for reply

    I think that the solution is to use Unicode utf-8
    add this line in the header of every page that content arabic word
    <%@ page contentType="text/html; charset=utf-8" %>
    and in the ResourceBundle file write in arabic , you will see after compilation that what you had write in arabic became in Unicode.
    exemple :
    before compilation
    Form.label.sndName= &#1575;&#1604;&#1573;&#1587;&#1605;
    after comilation
    Form.label.sndName= \u0627\u0644\u0625\u0633\u0645
    and remember that i sad that you must add
    <%@ page contentType="text/html; charset=utf-8" %> in every page that content arabic word
    in jsp page write
    <bean:message key="Form.label.sndName"/>
    if you folowing this concept you will not encounter any problem with javascript validation

  • 0 bytes resource

    Hi there,
    I'm trying to use FileUpload component with no sucess. No matter what I do I always get a 0-byte long resource (all other resource attributes are ok, such as resource name, mime type, and so forth). The resource.read(false) method always return an empty InputStream. Should I do something with the resource before it is populated with real bytes???
    Best,
    Ricardo

    Hi,
    I imported the SCA files and deployed the DC and it works fine for me.
                IPrivateUploadFileView.IContextElement element = wdContext.currentContextElement();
              IWDResource resource = element.getFile();
              byte fileData[] = null;
              // if a file in the FileUpload field exists
              if (resource != null) {
                   try {
                        int fileLength = 0;
                        InputStream fileIs = resource.read(false);
                        ByteArrayOutputStream bOut = new ByteArrayOutputStream();
                        int length;
                        byte[] part = new byte[10 * 1024];
                        while ((length = fileIs.read(part)) != -1) {
                             bOut.write(part, 0, length);
                        fileIs.close();
                        fileData = bOut.toByteArray();
                        fileLength = fileData.length;
                        bOut.close();
                        wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess("File Length"+fileLength);
                        if (fileData == null || fileLength == 0) {
                             throw new RuntimeException("File data is null or zero-byte");
                   } catch (Exception e) {
                        wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException(e);
              } else {
                   wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportException("File not defined");
             wdThis.wdGetUploadFileComponentController().fireUploadFileCompletedEvent();
    wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess("File Length"+fileLength);
    Is printing the size
    Note:-1.There is no issue in ur component possible reason might be try uploading different files.
              2.Try reinstalling your NWDS and import the SCA then which could fix this issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Lokesh Kamana.

  • AIX 5.2 resources adaptor

    How to create AIX 5.2 resource adapter. client are using some command to create and update user on the AIX Unix server.
    this need to automated threw sun idm .
    Do I need to write the resource action script after the AIX resource adaptor configuration done. and call this script into work flow.
    please guide....
    Please provide the steps for doing the user provisioning and deprovisioning on the AIX Unix server.
    thanks.

    sounds as wrong forum, do not see any link with linux.
    anyhow, please be more specific on what is happening/not happening?
    any errors on system log?

  • Loading multiple resources

    Hi, I am starting to do things with AS3, and I found that all
    the resource loads through urlRequest, urlLoader and others like
    that are asynchronous, that is, the flow of the applications
    continues after a resource load request.
    I have a case in which I have to load a group of resources
    before entering into a different section of the application, and I
    don't want to hardcode the load complete events for every single
    resource I load.
    Is there a way in AS3 to do something like this?
    .LoadResource("hello.gif");
    .LoadResource("table.xml");
    .LoadResource("howareyou.gif");
    .LoadResource("bye.gif");
    .LoadResource("story.txt");
    .WaitForMultipleObjects();

    Not so difficult to write a class to do this...
    Here is an example found in the Sandy 3D Engine :

  • NSS and LUN expanding - what you need to know before you migrate

    Thought I'd share, since this isn't in any documentation or TID that I
    can find.
    Before you move to OES2 Linux with NSS or multipathing code or EVMS, you
    may want to consider this limitation (IMO, a major limitation if you're
    running an Enterprise).
    If you SAN allows you to grow/expand a LUN (ie, LUN1 was 50 GB and now
    you grow it to 100 GB), you cannot use the new space until you reboot
    the server itself. If you're running NCS, then you need to reboot every
    node that can host the clustered resource before you can expand the NSS
    pool.
    The issue is a bug in the devmapper portion of SLES. ANYTHING that uses
    devmapper will prevent the further layers (ie, multipathing or EVMS)
    from seeing the additional space until you reboot the server.
    Obviously rebooting servers in the middle of the day to add more space
    affects Enterprise services to your users. As does making them wait
    until off-hours before they can write/save any data to the servers. Not
    to mention rebooting multiple nodes in your NCS cluster.
    Novell won't fix this until SLES 11. Even then (ie, if you implement
    OES2 now and can live with the limitation it won't be truly fixed in
    SLES 11 if you're using NSS/EVMS), as the limitation will still be in
    EVMS in SLES 11. Therefore, you'd have to migrate your data to LVM2 (I
    believe that's what Novell is switching to). Yet another major
    disruption for your users.
    So, if you're thinking about OES2 with NSS/EVMS or multipathing, you may
    want to consider the effect this will have to your userbase (ie, how
    many times do you want to migrate your data?)
    In our case, looks like it's goint to be one migration --- to MS
    Windows.

    Hi,
    General rule, if you think rebooting is NOT an option AND you are not using clustering - you're looking for trouble.
    I know I can increase space to my cluster with out kicking my users offline.
    Worked for NSS.
    Worked for OCFS.
    Limitation noted and ignored.

  • Check for empty visa resource?

    When I am developing the VI at my desk and not a the test station PC, the VISA resource name is empty.
    Once the VI is moved to the test station PC, the user can select a VXI board.
    How do I make sure the user has selected a VISA resource before continuing?
    I can wire a Comparision to check for Empty String, and that works. But is there any method that I should use?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Additionally, you can limit the selectable items by interface type. Right-click VISA Resource Name Control and select I/O Name Filtering.
