Writing Cleint side scripting to edit internal table

Hello Gurus
I have a internal table which i am displaying in tableview . i want to add record into the itab when i i click on one button on the form.
I want to do it this action in the client side using abap script of java script.
I am not sure how to handle internal table with java script. and one more question is that how to write client side abap script.?
Is there any recommendation?

1. Can i access page attribute s( ex:iinternal table ,or string variable ) in the client script.( java script which runs on client browser ).
2. If the above answer is yes, how to add a record into intertal table with java code . ( syntax ) .

Edit Internal Table for Sales Order Smartform (Y640_SDORC_A)

I want to modify SmartForm Y640_SDORC_A so I always print the net value and discount percentage.
I have an access sequence and my discount can be created by a discount percentage condition (ZD00) or by Special Price (PR01) condition.
My problem is that if I use the Special Price Condition the Internal Table where the smartform loops to get the price only gets the Net Value amount, and it wont print the discount percentage, but if I dont use the Special Price condition the internal value has 2 rows the first one is for Discount Condition and the second for Net Value and it prints correctly.
This is how my access secuence is arranged, the X are the print id column:

How can I fix the internal table creation so when there is a Special Price Condition (PR01) the internal table also gets the Discount percentage value.

SAP Script: How do you print internal table values in a VAR window?

Hi
I want to have a window like MAIN window where I can print data like line items and the no of lines are only 3..I have added one window type VAR. I have schedule line data in one internal table in which I am calling WRITE_FORM func.mod for the newly created window..But the last schedule line only getting printed...when I debug the script looping in internal table is happening correctly and going to window also happening but in the output its showing last schedule line...What could be the problem and how to over come this?

Hi Md,
1. type MAIN window CAN GROW (vertically)
   But VAR window Cannot.
2. If our window is type VAR or FIXED
   no matter how much we loop
   it will show only the last record.
   because it cannot grow.
(every loop pass overwrites the contents in the layout)
3. So if we use loop to print anything,
   THE WINDOW MUST BE OF TYPE "MAIN" ONLY.

Importing internal table data from FM to eCATT test script

Hi all,
I am working on Workflow project where by i need to post invoices related to purchase orders sent as scanned imaages. Incase all the data in the incoming invoice(scanned) is correct then i am using BAPI_INCOMING_INVOICE_CREATE to post the invoice.
But when the data is wrong, i need to give the user MIRO transaction pre-populated with the invoice details so that he manually corrects them(after verification) and posts the invoice.
I understand MIRO is an ENJOY transaction hence BDC doesn't work properly(i have tried with all kinds of options on recording and the problem comes incase of multiple POs) hence i choose to use eCATT.
The recording worksfine but my real problem is the PO data (multiple PO details for same invoice) is in table form. In all my previous objects related to eCATT we used to upload the file, hence no problem of importing tables.
But now as i'll call this test script from a function module which has all the POs in the form of internal table, i need to import this into my test script.
Please any body tell me how to proceed in this case or please suggest me a better a way to record the MIRO.

Yes, I know about Parking an invoice. even i am using it in some scenarios.
If everything on the invoice matches with the values in SAP then i am posting it using BAPI invoice_create also.
But for some scenarios like if the PO on the invoice doesnot match with actual PO then i need to create a work item in the Accounts Payable user's inbox and he will change invoice data manually (after getting confirmation and correction) and post it using MIRO.
Here i need to pre-populate the MIRO with the invoice data so that he can correct and post it.
Hence i was trying to write a BDC and as MIRO is an Enjoy transaction i thought writing a BDC is not a good idea (i tried writing BDC but had problems) hence i am using eCATT.
Hope i am clear about my problem. Any inputs to solve this are welcome.

Loop at internal Table inside Script

I am filling a table in a subroutine in a program and calling it through 'Perform' from my Script,now the main issue is , How to display the table in my script ?
I want to loop through an internal table & display its content on my script , but i can't make changes in the calling program by any means.

With PERFORM inside SAPSCRIPT you can only pass individual fields and also get back individual fields .

Only "USING" and CHANGING" options are allowed and that too only symbols available / defined in sapscript can be passed .
Even if you populate an internal table in the program you are calling with "PERFORM" there is no way to pass this internal table back to sapscript , also in SAPSCRIPT there is no way to loop .
If you are sure about the no of lines you are going to populate and all lines have only one column ( only one field ) you can try something like this .

You can create a sub-routine and pass all the table entries in variables and then you can print them.

Display data to edit based on fields and its value defined in internal tabl

I need to display data in a internal table for editing in a screen.
you have a internal table with field name , data types and its value. I need to display data in a screen ( sceen painter not in a report) row by row in vrtical format.
The internal table's structure not fix. you can have any number of fields in the internal table.
Can you please send me code if it is available with you or send me any senario in SAP if any ...so that i can debug to extract the code..

Get data in editable ALV back to internal table without data_changed ev?

Hi,
I have an editable ALV using classes to whch I have users the option to edit directly on the screen or upload data from an excel. The event data_changed gets triggered when users edit the table on the screen.
However when EXCEL is uploaded, I refresh the table display. So, I need a way to get the data from the ALV into a internal table to check which rows were update using the excel and save them into the db table.

Editable ALV-No change in internal table

Hello Experts,
   I have an ALV output, in which I have a column as editable. I have generated the output using 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'. I got to know that after changing the editable cell's value, if we double click the cell or if operate with any PF-status components, the value will automatically get changed in internal table also. For double click I am getting the expected result. But If I click a button the value doesn't get changed in internal table. Is there any other change I have to do for this. If I have checkbox in ALV will it be rectified. But my requirement is when I click the button only It has to be modified in the database table.

Error while uploading an edited excel file into an internal table

Hi Experts,
I am getting error while uploading an excel file that has been edited.
I am using GUI_UPLOAD for uploading the file into internal table.
In my program I first have to download a file, if I use the same file without editing I am able to read the file.
When I try to edit it and then use it to upload it fails, but this is part of the my requirement.
PLease suggest.

In the FM Line_header = 'X' means it will negelect the first line. So u can give the heading in the excel file.

Internal table in Script

I need to check whether an internal table is having data or not in script.
Can i use If Not &it_table& is Initial, just like we use in reports, but it is not working.
Pls advise me how to check whether the internal table is having data or not.

Hi Priya,
In SAP script you can not pass all the data to output layout.. Whenever we need to use the the data to be printed on output layout, we first populate that data in a print program.
First you need to populate your internal table in Print program only.. and to display this data ..
you need to put a loop on that internal table. pass all the fields into a structure.. and then you can use that structure in script editor. so that your layout can print it one by one..
You need to code like as below in your print program..
loop at i_tab.
i_tab-f1 = w_display-f1.
i_tab-f2 = w_display-f2.
i_tab-f3 = w_display-f3.

SET_TABLE_FOR_DISPLAY - Edited value from dynamic internal table need to be captured

I have created 2 tabstrip screns which contain ALV GRID DISPLAY in a container with dynamic internal table and editable columns .I want to capture the edited value from this ALV GRID display.I have used SET_TABLE_FOR_DISPLAY and for this dynamc internal table is passed which is Field symbol and editable columns have to be captured for further updation into another ztable.
When i used check_changed_data i am getting dump as field symbol not assigned.
Below is the code : How can i get edited column value from below code

please provide more info about the dump to try to help you
as max said, it could be because the field symbol is not global and if its global maybe you are not refering well to the column
i assume that you are using "ASSIGN COMPONENT comp OF STRUCTURE struc TO <fs>" to capture the value changed
validate always the sy-subrc after the assignment.
but the check changed data have parameters that have the old and new values
please provide more info...
