Writing Errors to File

Question

I want to use the dump the output from printStackTrace to a file rather than output it to the screen, any clues as to how I would go about this?
File outFile = new File("errorlog.txt");
FileWriter out = new FileWriter(outFile);
catch(IOException e)
e.printStackTrace();
