There might be that when u provide the data in the selction screen of F-32 and press process open items some custom program might be attached to it and gets executed...
    chek it out..
    if so..
pass the bdcdata of the second screen into a memory id
    export t_bdcdata into v_memid.
in that custoom report jus import this..
then fill the t_bdcdata with the header information and call the transcation f-32..

  • How to write ABAP HR reports in ABAP web dynapro

    Hi All,
How  to write ABAP HR reports in ABAP web dynapro? We can add HR REPORT CATEGORY in ABAP HR using logical database like PNP.How to add HR REPORT CATEGORY in ABAP Webdynapro ?
    Thanks.

You can't use legacy concepts like logical databases directly in Web Dynpro ABAP.  Even if you could do so, you shouldn't.  Web Dynpro ABAP should always follow MVC - meaning that your business logic (the model) should be separated from WD as much as possible. This means calling function modules or class methods to consume the business logic and data.  So in general there should be no difference between building HR reports or any other type of report in WDA - since from the WDA side you are calling other objects to consume the data.
This probably does mean that you will need to create classes to expose the HR data that you want in your WDA.

  • Can any one explain me the relation between BDC and reports events?

    hi experts.....
can any one explain me the relation between BDC and reports events? we are using report events in BDC programmes why?\
Is reports events occurs in each and every concept in ABAP i.e creating custom idocs, smart forms, sap scripts, dialog programmes, module pool technics?
    thanks in advance

The forums are expert forums. So the first thing I would do is change your name.
It's like entering a grand prix in a car with a "Student Driver" sign.

  • Can we call a BDC from REPORT program.

    hi
    can anybody tell me that
can we call a BDC from REPORT program.
    thanks&regards

    Yes, It can be called.
Infact you can generate a program from SHDB recording and in the program generated you can put necessary report logic and call the BDC/CALL TRANSACTION as required.
    <b>Please check here for a sample program,</b>

  • Convert SQL*Report Writer V1 to Reports V6

Is there an Oracle utility to convert the old SQL*Report Writer REPs to Reports V6 RDFs? Also, will Reports V6 for Unix be able to use our REPs from SQL*Report Writer V1?
We are moving to a new server and updating our Oracle software. As a test, we are attempting to rewrite / convert some of our reports from our Unix platform to a test NT server. Once we get to the new Unix server and Oracle, we will have to convert the old REPs to the new Reports for Unix.

You can convert SQL*ReportWriter v1.1 reports to Oracle Reports 2.5/3.0 and then to Oracle Reports 6.0. I know there is a migration tool that comes with 2.5, though I'm not sure about 3.0.

    Reply to n82phone:
what you are telling i think is too much. I've read your requests and believe me some of them is out of context. One example is listening to radio while being on a call. Who would like to have such options?? It's ridiculous.
But But it doesn't mean all of them are ridiculous! Just like the #1 concerning music, #4 concerning the camera and #5 concerning the volume, I strongly agree with you as it makes sense!
So if I was to write to nokia, which I will do in the coming days is to write them again:
Points #1,4,5,9,11,14,15,24! These are strong points!
People out there, if you want the changes I specified to be done by nokia, you should write them the same points. If only one or two write, it's useless, they won't take it as a priority.
Of course, don't copy paste or they will think the same person is spamming them. I hope it's clear. Write in your own words. Don't think changes will be done by magic or by doing nothing with arms folded. You should do a move.
THIS IS A USER TO USER FORUM. YOU CAN POST YOUR PROBLEM HERE. WE'LL DISCUSS ABOUT IT, THEN ALL OF US SHOULD WRITE NOKIA TO CORRECT THE MATTER IF IT CONCERNS FIRMWARE. FOLLOW THE LINK "CONTACT US > CALL OR EMAIL NOKIA CARE" TO REPORT THE PROBLEM TO NOKIA.

Well, running a Windows disk utility on a Mac drive ought to muck things up pretty well. I hope you have backups. If not I suggest you try to backup your files. Then do the following:
    Extended Hard Drive Preparation
    1. Boot from your OS X Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger or Leopard.)
    2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    3. Set the number of partitions from the dropdown menu (use 1 partition unless you wish to make more.) Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID (only required for Intel Macs) then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the volume(s) mount on the Desktop.
    4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
    5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
    6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
Upon formatting completing quit DU to return to the installer. Install OS X. Afterwards you can restore your personal data files and reinstall your third-party software.
In the future never attempt to use any Windows disk utilities to fix or diagnose a Mac formatted drive.
