WRTU54G-TM Changed 3 routers and still suffering T-mobile at home issue?

Question

Where should i start my story?
I took T-mobile at home linksys router on July 10th. On that day i got a temp phone number.  I configured the whole process and things looked fine for a few days (during this period we did not use the phone much, because we had cox phone)
on August 1st the phone number got ported and then the troubles began.
This time when i configured the whole thing the blue light started BLINKING instead of a steady light, but still i had my phone working. But after 30 minutes or so the internet connection and phone were dead. I rebooted both my modem and router (power off on) and the blue light BLINKS again and the internet and phone worked fine for another 30 minutes. I was on phone with the t-mobile tech support and Linksys support for God knows how many hours (mostly on hold). i was told to download the new firmware but on the website i could not find any firmware. I was asked to exchange the router and i did. the second router was funny, this time i did not get any blue light. The linksys status/voice window shows no_simcard. again i was with the tech support for many more hours. After 3 hours this morning they asked me to change the router again. I exchanged the router again this evening (third one) configured the process and this time the light BLINKS again and the Internet and phone drops in just 10 minutes (improvement HA). I went to the linksys site and downloaded the new firmware and then configured the process again.
NO CHANGE the light BLINKS and the internet and phone are dead in 10 minutes. THIS wasted my whole weekend and today. I think it is time for me to give up. I am returning the whole stuff tomorrow and say good-bye to T-mobile home.

UPDATE:
i talked to the t-mobile rep.
the blue light blinks because the phone account has message. i dialed 123 from home phone and checked the voice messages and once i checked them, the blue light stipped blinking and it is stable.
I downloaded the firmware upgrade and updated the firmware.
to my surprise Internet and phone are still on and working. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
i will post an update tomorrow.
