Xcode 4.1 "Loading.."

Hello everyone!
My issue is this, that after I've installed the free Xcode 4.1 everything goes fine.
Excepted until Im gonna start up the the program.
It only comes to the opening screen, then its stays there, "Loading.."
• sudo /Developer/Library/uninstall-devtools –mode=all
• I have tried to uninstall. Repair the disc with that permission thing (sorry my english. From my swedish translation.)
• After that did a restart of my computer.
• Erase the developer folder with platforms, so its clean like a whistle.
• Downloaded a new copy from App store.
But I can't get it to work
Please help..

OK guys!!
I solved it, after a long nights trouble and hard work and a lot of coffee!!
The loading screen was something gone "bad" of some sort, it was looking for something that wasnt there..
Some update im sure they gonna figure out with an update!!
So, if anyone gets this problem, I solved it like this!
Instead of waiting for this loading screen, go new project, chose whatever you like.
After that its gonna make a new project. Then behind this project, you can close the one that doesnt work, that still is "freezing and loading".
And thats it, now its working!
You might think: Oh this guy was to fast to ask for help here!
No, I have had so much problem, so now I am very happy!
Hope this is gonna help some other one if they get stuck with the same problem
Have a great day!

  • XCode won't load more than one application at a time on my iTouch?

I got the latest SDK, installed the latest firmware, re-generated the provisioning profile. Really, everything works exactly as expected, and xCode installs my application normally, but if I, say, try to install two different sample projects, HelloWorld and TheElements, when I "Build and Go" the second application, it deletes the previous application as part of the installation procedure. That is, TheElements will be installed, and HelloWorld will be deleted.
This only happens on the device, not in the emulator, and happens with any application, not just these two. I just can't install more than one app on the device.
According to iTunes, there is plenty of room on the actual iTouch. Also, in Organizer, rather than a checkbox next to the Application, there is an "arrow". When I click the application, I see "Application Data".
What the ****? Is this normal for iTouch? Are only iPhone developers allowed to develop more than one application at a time?

you must create an application ID
(use program portal - App ID) and in provisioning make a profile with the new App ID, and use the
same profile in your 2 applications
In Xcode for your project , (2*click target) section properties, use different names as Identifier, and you can have
more than one of your applications installed on the phone. I use identifieres as
    dk.mochasoft.abc
    and
    dk.mochasoft.xyz
I think when you release the applications to App Store, you will need different Profiles for the applications. The Apple documentation is a little weak on this subject.

  • AIR 15 - iOS Apps Rejected -  XCode 5.1.1 is now required

We've run into an issue with Apple no longer accepting apps compiled with Adobe AIR, due to a new requirement for the XCode version used:
As of September 9th 2014, all apps must be built using XCode 5.1.1 -- though Adobe AIR (including the newest version 15 released on the same date) compiles using XCode 5.0.2.
After submitting an AIR app to iTunes Connect yesterday, we received an email from iTunes stating that "This bundle is invalid" because it's using an older version of XCode that is no longer allowed for uploads.  The full message reads:
    Dear developer,
We have discovered one or more issues with your recent submission for "yourappnamehere". To process your submission, the following issues must be corrected:
This bundle is invalid - New apps and app updates submitted to the App Store must be built with public (GM) versions of Xcode 5.1.1 or higher and iOS 7 SDK. Do not submit apps built with beta software.
Once these issues have been corrected, use Xcode or Application Loader to upload a new binary to iTunes Connect. Choose the new binary on the app’s Details page in My Apps on iTunes Connect, and click Submit for Review.
    Regards,
    The App Store team
After compiling with both AIR 14 and AIR 15, I changed the extension from .ipa to .zip and unzipped the package to see what version it was using.  Within the Info.plist file, it shows that AIR is using XCode 5.0.2 (DTXcode set to 0502, DTXcodeBuild set to 5A2005).  The only version that is now allowed for uploads is XCode 5.1.1 (Build 5B1008).
As it stands now, all AIR-developed apps for iOS will be rejected, and cannot be published on the App Store.  This goes for new apps as well as submitting updates for apps that are already live in the App Store.
I just submitted a report to the Adobe Bugbase about this as well, you can view it or vote on it here:
Bug#3821892 - AIR apps rejected for iOS - Not built using XCode 5.1.1

    Hi,
We have a similar issue. Yesterday, September 24th 2014, I attempted to upload an application update and I received this error:
ERROR ITMS-9000: "Invalid Segment Alignment. This app does not have proper segment alignment and should be rebuilt with the latest version of Xcode. Please contact Developer Technical Support if you need further assistance." - The upload log is only a bit more verbose with "ErrorCode = 1102".
My first upload attempt binary was built with AIR 14.0 and iPhone SDK 7.1. (DTXcode == 0502)
After some Web search, I found this forum post, and also tried theses builds :
    - AIR 15.0.0.274 and iPhone SDK 8.0 (DTXcode == 0600)
    - AIR 14.0 and iPhone SDK 8.0 (DTXcode == 0502)
For all three attempts, I received the same error. I have not tested yet with AIR 15.0.0.274 and iPhone SDK 7.1, but i'm not sure its worth it...
I sent an assistance request to Apple, but I would like to know what is the Adobe status for iOS 8 support... I cannot find much info about this on the AIR 15 SDK page.
If anyone can bring some light on this, thanks in advance,

  • At what stage of the dps process do i need xcode installed?

I am working on a mac pro 10.7.5 and i cant install xcode on this machine. However i got a private laptop that runs on maverick.
I can build a folio on my macpro and view it on my ipad using the adobe viewer.
So i need to become a developer and install xcode on my laptop.
Can i create the folio on my macpro and when the folio is finished publish it from the laptop? (from folio producer)

Martin is correct that you don't need Xcode. You just need Application Loader, which gets installed when you dowload the Xcode SDK. Installing the SDK also takes care of the intermediate certificate required when you're using the Apple iOS developer site to create App iDs and certificates, but you can do that manually as well. Personally, I prefer installing Xcode.
Application Loader used to work on Mac OS X 10.6, but now it requires 10.7 or later. At some point, Apple might require 10.8 or later, so you're probably better off using your computer running Maverick.

  • App Store still searching but never load

i open the apstre to dowload de last xcode but never load any app..

If you're having problems with the App Store you might try this:
1 - enable the Debug menu in App Store:
    open the Terminal application.
copy the command below and paste into the Terminal window:
defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true
    followed by Enter.
    launch App Store, login.
2 - select the Debug ➙ Reset Application option:
    3 - try again.

  • "Invalid Binary" error on app. Apple's reason is "Missing 64-bit support" due to changes from Feb 1st 2015

    Hello
Can anyone help me with an "Invalid Binary" error on my app.
    Apple's response is:
    Dear developer,
We have discovered one or more issues with your recent submission for "DPS Notes". To process your submission, the following issues must be corrected:
Missing 64-bit support - Beginning on February 1, 2015 new iOS apps submitted to the App Store must include 64-bit support and be built with the iOS 8 SDK. Beginning June 1, 2015 app updates will also need to follow the same requirements. To enable 64-bit in your project, we recommend using the default Xcode build setting of “Standard architectures” to build a single binary with both 32-bit and 64-bit code.
Once these issues have been corrected, use Xcode or Application Loader to upload a new binary to iTunes Connect. Choose the new binary on the app’s Details page in My Apps on iTunes Connect, and click Submit for Review.
    Regards,
    The App Store team
Can someone from the Adobe DPS team let me know how I can recreate the .ipa file so that it will meet Apple's requirements.
They seem to have moved the goalposts since I created the original .ipa file in December. I thought I'd submitted it, just went back through iTunes Connect to check info as I hadn't heard anything from them, then hit this brick wall. Any help offered would be much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Rebecca

    Hi
I've Updated App Builder, gone back to the DPS App Builder portal, regenerated new zip and ipa files and downloaded them.
I clicked the Application Loader 3.0 link, downloaded the latest Appication Version, clicked on the "Deliver your App" button, and submitted the newly built App that was built using 32.4.2 version. (All the app icons were listed as "stored on server" so I presume they are all ok). The .zip file appeared to 'deliver' to Apple successfully. I've tried to resubmit it but get ta "Redundant Binary Upload. There already exists a binary upload with build version..." error message, so presume the orginal binary upload was successful. I have no idea how I can get this app from the "prepare for submission", to "in review". The last time I thought I'd submitted this app I got as far as the "waiting for review" status, and no further.
At the moment I don't have a"+" button in the Build section - as mentioned on page 66 of Adobe's Step_by_step_guide_to_dps_se.pdf.
So I can't add the new .zip file to the iTunes Connect > My Apps portal in the Build section of the Versions tab.
I have put a support email into Apple, but don't expect a reply any day soon.
The problem with starting all the way back through the App wizard is that I really want to use all the same App Name, Bundle ID, and details etc.
Do you mean, going back to the Folio Producer Panel, and building a whole new App?
This process certainly isn't for the faint-hearted!

  • ERROR ITMS-9000: Invalid Bundle.

    Hi,
I tried to upload my app to IOS store, but this message comes up each time 'ERROR ITMS-9000: Invalid Bundle.'
    I used
    - AIR 15.0.0.289 beta from adobe lab
    - Xcode 6
    - Application loader 3
    - I built  new certificate and provisioning
what should I do to solve this problem.

    All,
If you are you looking to get the patched Windows AIR SDK and facing the download error (509), try this link: https://t.co/C5G23nMPnq
And what you have to do is copy the /lib/aot/bin/ld64 folder from that version to the same folder on your current AIR build. Doing that, and also adding <key>MinimumOSVersion</key> <string>6.0</string> to your <InfoAdditions> in your XML
    Thanks to @oliver_joyce

  • Just updated app and sent to Apple in advance of iOS8...got this error message...during binary upload...

Is this an issue? If so what should I do to avoid Apple kick back?
Invalid or Non-Increasing CFBundleVersion - The value specified in the bundle's Info.plist file for the key CFBundleVersion must be a string consisting of any number of dot-separated components, where each component is composed only of the digits 0 through 9. For example, any of the following are syntactically valid values for CFBundleVersion: "1.0", "4.2.1", "5545.12", "1.4.0.0.5"; whereas the following are all syntactically invalid: "GX5", "3.4.2b6", "2.6GM", "1.0 (Gold)", "-3.6". Additionally, each updated version of the same application must have a CFBundleVersion that increases relative to that of the previous version that was actually made available for sale on the iTunes Store. For example, if a previously-available version had a CFBundleVersion of "1.4", then any of the following would be acceptable as the next update: "1.4.0.0.0.0.5", "1.4.1", "1.4.332", "1.5"; but all of the following (though syntactically valid) would be unacceptable: "1.4", "1.3", "1.3.99999", "0.9". For more information about the CFBundleVersion key and the Info.plist file, see Apple's Runtime Configuration Guidelines athttp://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/MacOSX/Conceptual/BPRuntimeConfig/ind ex.html
After you’ve corrected the issues, you can use Xcode or Application Loader to upload a new binary to iTunes Connect.

    We received a similar warning:
"ITMS-9000: This bundle is invalid. The value for key CFBundleVersion in the info.plist file must be a period-separated list of at most three non-negative integers. Version Mismatch. Neither CFBundleVersion nor CFBundleShortVersionString in the Info.plist match the version of the app set in iTunes Connect."
Should we also ignore this warning?

  • Last hurdle: Submission to Apple

I've created and packaged my iPad app. I've exported it using a distribution profile. I managed to find out that you can no longer upload binaries via iTunes Connect - instead you now need to use XCode or Application Loader (does this shut the door on submissions via Windows?).
But my actual problem occurs after submission using Application Loader. It gives me the following error:
"This bundle is invalid. When supporting iPad only, the iOS deployment target must be 3.2"
I guess I could wait until iOS 4 is out and this error may go away but why does it happen in the first place? Flash obviously gives no opportunity to choose an iOS version, and when I open up my bundle and check out the info.plist file I see no mention of iOS 4 - all I can see mentioned is 3.2
    Any advice appreciated.
    Stefan

I agree Steve. Personally I can't be bothered to mess around with the plist file, it seems to much of a headache. I'll wait for iOS 4.2 and see if they take my binary then.
    Cheers
    Stefan

    Here is answer from Apple
Apple engineering believes this issue is now resolved. Please attempt to resubmit your app.
If you continue to get this error, regenerate your distribution provisioning profile, as follows:
    1. Go to Apple Developer Member Center <https://developer.apple.com/membercenter/selectTeam.action>
    2. Select “Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles”
    3. Select “Provisioning Profiles”
    4. Find and select your distribution profile. Note if the profile Status is “Managed by Xcode” or not.
    5. Select Edit.
    6. Select “Generate”
    7. Select Download
    8. Double-click the downloaded profile to open it in Xcode.
    9. Build and submit your app as usual.
