Xcode 4 not deleting Hello World project fully

Hi,
I'm very new to Xcode and have been having a go at creating my first app. However I made quite a few mistakes and though it would be easier to delete the project and start fresh. I did this by going into Finder and trashing the folder. When I go back to Xcode and create a new project with the same name my old errors are still in the code, even after the original file has been trashed and the trash emptied.
So my question is how to I fully delete a project so I can start another one with the same name?
I really appreciate the help, I can't find answers anywhere for this one.
Thanks.

Ok I found the files in the Repository. All deleted, not back to developing!

    Welcome to the forum.
As others have said, there is no way to read Aperture 3 Projects or Libraries in Aperture 2. If you want to carry on using the same files on both computers you will have to stay with Aperture 2, or replace the tower with an Intel-based one that will run new software.
As much as we might dislike it, PPC-based Macs are getting left behind in terms of what software they will run.

    Thank you,
    Keshav Ch

    Hi Keshav,
hard to say without seeing your source code. I'd recommend to try it with the Hello World approach that you can find here: http://www.ateam-oracle.com/case-management-in-practice-helloworld/
There you'll find in detail how to create a case mgmt. project and how to test it. If this doesn't work please send some details regarding your environment (Patchset, applied patches, etc.)

  • Gcc not compile hello world in c?

    hi
i wrote a hello world example in c language and  i want compile its.object file is created but not created executed file.please write me what command i need and a little hello world in c to test.
    thanks

A good way to do this is build a simple makefile containing just the following 2 lines:
    CC=gcc
    CFLAGS:=-ggdb -std=c99
The second line is optional and you may have other preferences.  The -ggdb option adds debugging information for the GNU debugger, gdb; and the -std=c99 allows a program that is compliant with the C99 standard to be compiled.  Name this file 'Makefile' and place it in the same directory as your source code file (i.e. hello.c). Then just type
    $ make hello

  • Adobe Drive not connecting to hello world sample launched via Eclipse

I'm trying to get the hello world sample running with Drive SDK 5. I got:

Afterwards, I start Adobe Drive (32bit version). The UI hangs with the message "Adobe Drive is starting. Please wait.". From task manager I can see that not just Adobe Drive was started, but also AD4ServiceManager.exe. I guess, this should not happen, because Adobe Drive should discover the one launched via Eclipse.
So what's going wrong here? How does Adobe Drive discover the one launched via Eclipse? What could block discovery?
Here more details in case that helps debugging the problem. MANIFEST.MF:

Here the Eclipse run configuration settings:

Wow, this seems to help even though it is still a bit shaky. Here the steps I have to do to get it working:
manually launch 64bit version of AD4ServiceManager.exe with parameter -launchedbydrive
launch Eclipse project and wait till ss shows everything as registered (much faster now)
start 64bit version of Drive -> my adapter doesn't show up
    shutdown drive
start 64bit version of Drive again -> my adapter now shows up and works as expected
I find a few things confusing here:
In Eclipse, should I configure the 32bit or 64bit version of AD4ServiceManager as plugin execution environment? Currently, I'm using the 32bit version.
Why isn't the step of manually launching AD4ServiceManager.exe not mentioned in the getting started guide?
I will reboot my machine to see if it is still working or just some special sun radiation making it work currently :-)

  • Xcode - Not Showing Output / Printing To Screen

I created a hello world project & it wont show any output at the bottom of the window and I even can't stop running it (although it didn't show any output). Please help me to solve.
I uninstalled & reinstalled it however the error still persists
As you can see in the screenshot, it says the program is running and i just can't get any output from the debugger area. What's more, I can't stop it by pressing the stop button.

These are the two screens I followed to create the project
I have created new projects, cleaned projects. I have reinstalled Xcode twice & I have even installed Xcode 4.6 & the problem still exists. I used the same Xcode 4.6 dmg file to install it on a friends computer & output can be created on his.
I currently have OS X Mavericks installed. I didnt use Xcode before I had Mavericks so I dont know if the problem existed before I installed Mavericks. Do you think this is creating the bug?

  • Hello World and FSBL don't work with ZC702

    Hi everyone,
I'm very confused about my issue. I've a ZC702 Board and use SDK 2014.4 and Vivado 2014.4 (both 64 bit) on a Windows 7 machine.
I've created a simple design with Vivado. The only element I have is a Zynq processor. I turned on some controller ( like I2C, QSPI, CAN, SD) and, configured the CAN CLK prescaler (see Zynq-7000 AP SoC Technical Reference Manual v1.10, page 581) and that's it.
After I exported the bitstream and launched the SDK, I created a FSBL project and a Hello World project. Nothing spectacular, nothing weird. Everything I used came out of the box.
I used the Xilinx tools to create a boot image and flashed the memory.
The boot sequence works fine till it has to execute the HelloWorld.elf. I get following message :
    Application
    Handoff Address: 0x00000000
    In FsblHookBeforeHandoff function
    No Execution Address JTAG handoff
Here is the thing: If I use the ZC702 pre-defined hard platform, with I can choose in the creation process of a new project, everything works fine. But that's not, what I want and that's not, what I need.
Why does this happen and how can I understand and reconstruct this behavior to configure and fix this kind of problems
    in future by myself?
I'm looking forward to your suggestions
P.S: I've done a lot of googling but I couldn't find anything suitable.

  • Delete CTS Projects not linked to IMG projects anymore?

    Hello all,
I have a few CTS Projects in my Solution Manager system that I am not able to delete because the corresponding IMG projects have already been deleted.  I know these CTS projects exist still, because they are all listed in the "Project" drop-down list in the Transport Organizer Web UI.
Any insights on how to do this?
    Thanks,
    Michele

    hi,
I havent really worked upon this, but has the IMG project been delinked from SOLMAN Project list? Or has it been deleted altogether from the satellite system? Probably you can try and check in the dev system and if it still exists there, then delete the CTS project.

  • Xcode unabled to run any program (even Hello World default)

I've started into programming c++ and java in Osx (come from linux) and i've tried xcode (after trying netbeans, eclipse etc) because i find it the most comfortable IDE to work.
The problem comes when i download xcode on my own laptop, after the large download and installation (and few updates) i tried the basic Hello World program.
What is my surprise when, after building succesfully, i get no output at all outputs sections, but more surprised when i try to stop running the program and xcode doesn't respond.
I get this error with every program, doesnt matter which language.
I also have a crash when quitting xcode (it freezes and colored ballon pointer appears), so i have to force xcode quit.
Have anyone faced this issue before? or known whats the issue related with?
I'll really appreciate any help (as i can't program anything in osx if i want to use xcode)

From my Guest account it works perfectly.
How can I make it works on my Account ? Which preference file should I need to change.

  • I wonder how pro photographers use aperture?I shoot raw and my harddrive is alreay full.I'm not able to import new pictures. Is it ok if i create a vault and delete all my projects in the HD.Can I use an external HD use aperture through the vault??

I wonder how pro photographers use aperture?I shoot raw and my harddrive is alreay full.I'm not able to import new pictures. I don't know what to do. I created a vault. My plan was to create a vault(put all my master files into an external harddrive) and then delete all my projects in my mac pro's harddrive. Is it the correct way to do it ? What should I do if I have thousands of raw files ? How should my workflow be? Can I use an external HD and use aperture through the vault, without keeping the master files on my computer's hard drive?? Or should I shoot raw+jpeg and store raw files in an external backup harddrive and import only jpegs into my aperture library?

There's a bit to learn.  It will slowly make sense.
Aperture is an empty field.  You're given a tractor and a whole bunch of attachments. What you grow, how, and where, is entirely up to you.
Vaults are for back-up and only for back-up.  They have nothing to do with storing your working files.
When your Library outgrows your system drive (and for good performance, you should leave c. 20% of every drive empty), it's time to convert some of your image's Masters from Managed to Referenced.  ("Managed" and "Referenced" refer to Masters, not to Libraries.)
There are hundreds of posts in the forum, and several pages in the User Manual on using Masters.
Many people run Aperture with the Library on their system disk, and most (or all) of their images' Masters on external FW drives.  This is a good set-up.  Note that you will likely have to take steps to back-up the data on your external drives.
If you do the above, there should be no reason to delete any Projects.
The choice of RAW or RAW+JPEG or JPEG depends on the kind of work you are doing.  I capture RAW only -- but I don't do any commercial shoots.  Pros on deadlines report that the RAW+JPEG works well for them.  Capture JPEG if it saves you time.  IMHO, there is not a good reason to shoot JPEG to save space (space is cheap; time expensive).
Short-term solution: buy and use a FW800 external 1 TB drive, formatted "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)", and using Aperture relocate the Masters of all images older than 30 days to that drive.  (Be sure to change your back-up strategy to include this new drive; you may need a second new drive.)
This general post of mine might help you understand more about Aperture.

  • After "Replace with clip" the original clip can not be deleted from the project - why?

After using "replace with clip" to replace clip A in the timeline with a new clip B , clip A can not be deleted from the project anymore.
If you try to delete clip A, you get a warning, that it still has references in one or more sequences.
If you continue and delete clip A, it seems to be deleted - at first!
Unfortunately if you save and reopen the project, clip A is restored to folder "Recovered clips".
It's not possible to really delete it.
I also did not find a way to unlink clip B from A .
The only thing you can do, is to revert the change by "Restore Unrendered" in the clip context menu. But that's obviously not helping
I dont know if this is a bug or a feature. I understand, that it can be useful to undo the "replace clip" function, but why would anyone not want to be able to delete the original clip at all?
help how to fix this problem is greatly appreciated!
    I use Premiere Pro CC 2014.2 (Win7 64bit)

I'm sure it has nothing to to with other sequences.
You can easily reproduce this behaviour:
    1. create a new project
    2. import 2 clips and name them "A" and "B"
    3. put "A" in the timeline
    4. ALT-drag "B" over "A" in the timeline (or right-click "A" in the timeline while selecting "B" in the project files and select "replace with clip ... from bin")
    5. delete "A" from the project files
    6. save and close project
    7. reopen project
=> "A" reappears in "Recovered clips" and can not be deleted.

  • Project Files Not Deleted From Server

Thank you in advance if you can help.
Application: Robohelp6/Server6 and earlier versions. Don't
    know about 7 or 8.
    Output: Webhelp Pro
Background: Whenever I delete a topic from the publisher and
publisher a project to our server, the htm file for that topic is
not deleted. I started calling them "ghost" files because they
should be dead and gone. Some users access these files following a
direct URL hence providing them with outdated information. They
don't normally appear in the application search results but
hyperlinks to them work until the file is removed.
I've tried different publishing options to get them removed.
Check for delete files and republish entire project. The only way I
found to get rid of them is to delete the file from the server
manually. Another option is to delete the project from the server
    and republish everything.
Question: Can anyone explain what is going on and if there is
something I can to make sure they are automatically deleted when
    publishing.

    Welcome to our community, David
I don't believe anything in RoboHelp publishing will actually
ever delete files. It's my experience that any file that needs to
be removed from the server has to be accomplished manually.
So I know this calls into question what exactly does the
option "Check for deleted files" actually DO?" Am I right?
Here's the deal. Upon publishing, a list is created. The
first round takes longest as it is also creating the list. When you
publish again, files are compared to the list.
Need updating? Nope. Skip it and move on.
Need updating? Yes. Copy and replace the file.
The option to check for deleted files slows the process. The
    process then becomes:
Need updating? Nope. Does it still exist on server? Yes. Skip
    it and move on.
Need updating? Yes. Copy and replace the file.
Need updating? Nope. Does it still exist on server? Nope.
Copy the file and move on.
Hopefully that helps you better understand what is happening.
    Cheers... Rick
