XDB Deinstall and install issue in 11gR1 Db and R12.1.2 Apps

We have an issue with UTL_SMTP package. Whenever we are trying to access it through Ora-00600. I got one note 742014.1 and followed that. It worked for us and we are able to use the package without any issue. Now the problem is we have 150 + invalids in Apps schema, not sure how to resolve this. Doc doesn't say anything to do under apps schema.

What is exact ORA-600 error. This error is internal error which mean you should work wiht oracle support for this issue. But first please check below note

A look around the internet and my previous knowledge indicates this is not an issue with firefox, but with how the server that the app is run on is incorrectly configured. To test this, please install an old version of firefox. You can download an older version from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html then try to visit the website again. Please let us know if it turns out that it works with version 3.6

SP2010 Foundation Post Install issues on development workstation - Database and Services

Just recently installed SP2010 Foundation for a development workstation. Platform isWin7 X64 pro, SQL 2008 (Developer edition)
(1) Looks like search has some configuration issues. This is in the Windows event log

when you run the config wizard( you mentioned many times), which option you select from 2nd try to on ward....cannot disconnect this server from farm?
are you using any script to install ?
I would say run the config wizard without disconnecting and this server will host CA option.
from the central admin > manager server in farm...on top you will see farm version and config database name. note it
from the Manage database Upgrade status page note all the db names
now match it on sql and keep those and all other should gone now as a clean process.

What is happening when starting it?
If Windows, where was it installed?
If Windows, do you have admin permissions?

I was trying to activate my CS3 and got help from chat until he said it was an installing issue. The application opens and then closes unexpectedly.

I just got a new mac and I'm trying to download my Adobe CS3 onto it. I was able to download and then I tried to activate it. I entered the CS3 serial number and then asked for the serial number of the older version. I originally bought CS2 on disc and downloaded it onto my old mac and from there bought an upgrade to CS3. I no longer have the discs or box for CS2 and so I do not have the CS2 serial number. I contacted chat support who helped until I reached the point where I could open the application but then it would quit immediately and say "Adobe Update quit unexpectedly." Then he said it was an installing issue and turned me to the forums. Help, please?

JohnEden I would recommend running all available uninstallers to remove the current installation. The uninstallers are located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once you have ran the uninstallers then please also utilize the CC Cleaner Tool for a complete removal. You are allowed to have the software installed and activated on two machines, so you do not need to remove it from the old pc just to install it on the new machine.
If you look in your Adobe account online you might be able to find the serial number.
You can also try contact Adobe support thru chat to see if they can help with the serial number. They might be able to if you can prove ownership of the software.

ILM assistant XDB username and password not working

Hi All,
Hi I'm using ILM 1.3 with Oracle 11g on HP.
I am able to log-in to apex server but not ILM assistant.
http://dblxamd02.vxindia.veritas.com:8080/apex/apex_admin it works with admin/oracle.
But im not able to login to http://dblxamd02.vxindia.veritas.com:8080 when it asks for XDB username and password.
I tried to reset the password using apxxepwd.sql but not luck.
Did anybody observer this issue ? if so can somebody please reply me ASAP ?

There are two wats to install the ILM toolkit:
1) Directly on the server where your instance is located. In this case you do not need to provide a TNS connection name. Therefore, you would execute the script as follows:
@ilma_install.sql pune
2) Remotely from a client. In this case you do need to provide a connection string to your remote database instance. Therefore, you would execute the script as follows:
@ilma_install.sql pune@11
in this scenario the connection details are derived from your TNSNAMES.ORA file. If you have multiple Oracle products installed you have multiple copies of this file and it can be difficult to track down which file is being used. To point to a specific TNSNAMES.ORA I normally set three parameters:
ORACLE_HOME - points to your 11g Client installation directory
PATH - point this to the Oracle home containing SQLPlus, usually this is ORACLE_HOME/bin
TNS_ADMIN = ORACLE_HOME/network/admin
then make sure the TNSNAMES.ORA contains a reference to your identifier "11". You can test the connection by using the TNSPING utility that is part of the 11g client installation. The format for your instance would be:
TNSPING 11
this will tell you if you can connect to your instance. If there are any issues check the connection via the Net Configuration Assistant, or you can edit the TNSNAMES.ORA file directly via Notepad.

I've just updated to lion on my iMac (following a successful install on my MacBook air) - a number of my apps on the iMac now don't work properly and I've checked some user forums and these are known issues I hadn't picked up before. I was quite happy with snow leopard so I just want to deinstall Lion and go back to Snow Leopard. I back up to a time machine and so can restore from that but how do I remove lion and reinstall SL? Thanks

11.1.2.3 install issue

I have just installed 11.1.2.3 Foundation only (so far) and have run through the configuration of SS and deployment to the app server. I am able to start the WebLogic domain and access the WL admin console, but I'm unable to start any of the EPM windows services - they error out after a few seconds and pop up a message box stating "Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified".
When I look at the WL log, I see the following entries towards the end:

The issue seems to be related to networking and address resolution. Has anyone come across this before? I'm a bit baffled as to why it's trying to resolve to IPv6 - I've disabled this via the network adapter's settings as well as via the registry. Do I need to configure a loopback adapter or something?
Here are the steps taken to prep the server pre-install:
Disabled DEP
Disabled UAC
Modified the hosts file to add an entry for hostname and IP and one for the SQL server hostname and IP
Added roles for IIS and Application Server (which installs .NET 3.5.1)
Disabled IPv6 on the network adapter
Added the following registry keys:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Tcpip\Parameters]
"TcpTimedWaitDelay"=dword:0000001e
"MaxUserPort"=dword:0000fffe
"MaxFreeTcbs"=dword:0000186a

Microsoft's guidance on reg key to disable IPv6:
Type any one of the following values in the Value data field to configure the IPv6 protocol to the desired state, and then click OK:
Type 0 to enable all IPv6 components. (Windows default setting)
Type 0xffffffff to disable all IPv6 components except the IPv6 loopback interface. This value also configures Windows to prefer using IPv4 over IPv6 by changing entries in the prefix policy table. For more information, seeSource and Destination Address Selection.
Type 0x20 to prefer IPv4 over IPv6 by changing entries in the prefix policy table.
Type 0x10 to disable IPv6 on all nontunnel interfaces (both LAN and Point-to-Point Protocol [PPP] interfaces).
Type 0x01 to disable IPv6 on all tunnel interfaces. These include Intra-Site Automatic Tunnel Addressing Protocol (ISATAP), 6to4, and Teredo.
Type 0x11 to disable all IPv6 interfaces except for the IPv6 loopback interface.

What exactly means "refuses"?
This is the message which comes up if I try to update (from the Help menu) or re-install my licenced copies of CS6 or Photoshop Elements 9.

When I follow these instructions and try and start up/install or update Photoshop CS6 I get the same messages all over again. This has been going on since Tuesday afternoon and I am anxiuous to resolve the problem. For several years now all this has worked perfectly through your website and I cannot understand what has changed. Once I cancel these messages the products themselves seem to function OK. When I attempt to use Adobe Update Manager I get the same messages as above. You will see that my products are properly licensed and up to date. Have you any solution?

Mac OSX: Flash CS3 Font Install Issues

Hi,
I have a Mac Powerbook G4 with OS X installed and Adobe CS3.
I've installed a font. The font works in Photoshop and Illustrator
but not in Flash CS3. Why? I've put the font in the Library/Fonts
folder and the User/Fonts folder and it still doesn't show up in
Flash. Apparently this is a problem for a number of people see

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
Unfortunately, it looks like something is wrong with the file system and the installer can't see the root drive to install to. A Google search returns numerous results affecting various products and the recurring theme is that something is wrong with the disk. There are many recommendations from various sources, but nothing definitive.

I would try the following options:
Try using the PKG installer. This is used Mac SysAdmins to install Flash Player within their organization and uses a slightly different installer path, which may or may not work.
Some people have had success with disk and permissions repair some have not. You can try running a disk and permissions repair. After the disk and permissions repair is complete, reboot the system and try to install again using either the online installer (get.adobe.com/flashplayer) or the offline installer, posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Mac page in the ‘Still having problems’ section.
If these options do not work, I'd reach out to Apple support to see if they have a suggestion. If you do find a resolution to this, please let me know. I'll be happy to share it with people that encounter the problem in the future.

I installed Firefox sync and then used iphone app called FireFox Home and I can syncronize history, tabs and bookmarks. But I am NOT able to syncronize passwords from Firefox in my Macbook to FireFox Home on iPhone so I am very terrible to input my IDs and Passwords with my hands on FireFox Home when I log into Facebook, Twitter etc... Is it issue or something like that? If you have some solutions to make it clear, can you tell me how to syncronize memorized IDs and Passwords for the webs. Thank you.
