When we start integration builder/ repository it runs for a while(2-4 hrs) and dies...
we tried restarting server and its of no use...
We tried running tcode sldcheck that is also taking ages ... it shows message as retrieving data from the sld server...
    What could be the reason....
    Help us out...
    Regards,
    Viren.

    1. The problem might be with the JWS which verions you have installed there better install JDK_1.4.2*
Uninstall the current JWS andinstall this version...
    2. The server might be slow as well check the console....

  • Problem with Integration Builder Logon

    Hi all,
we get the following error message when logging on  to the Integration Builder:
"Authorization error.  Unknown user name or incorrect passwords."
We installed the SDK versions 1.4.2_03 and 1.4.2_05 on our computer and have local Admin rights.
Has anyone already a similar problem and can us further help.
    Thanks.
    Niko

    Hi Niko,
The userid/password must be created and be valid on the ABAP side of the XI server (via SU01), with the correct XI developer roles.
After creating the userid in SU01, it will take a few minutes before it is migrated to the J2EE side so that you can use it to logon to the Integration Builder.
    Regards,
    Bill

  • Custom directories for export/import for Integration Builder

    Hi,
XI uses default directories for exporting and importing Integration Builder objects, and there is no option to change the directory or to pick up objects from another directory.
Does anybody know of any way we can change the default directory that XI uses? Maybe some system setting hidden somewhere deep?
    Thanks and Regards
    Manish

    Hi Manish,
    when there's no way there's always an <b>XI way</b>:)
you can help your basis team using XI
set you file adapter to monitor export directory
and try sending your xi export files to a different server/location
you can have a look how Felix did similar scenario:
    /people/sap.user72/blog/2005/07/15/copy-a-file-with-same-filename-using-xi
    isn't this a good way ?

  • PC Requirements for Integration Builder

    Hi
can someone please to be telling me what the PC requirements are for the Integration Builder ?.
    min CPU
    min RAM
    JDK and JVM version
    etc.
Also I think the PC needs to allow for the installed of Java components when connecting.  Would the PC  then need to have adminstration rights ?
    cheers.

Are you asking for the requirement so that you will be open to IR/ ID properly?
If you have the choice i will suggest process should be Core2Duo, RAM --> 2GB, JRE > 1.5 (for PI7.1).
Admin access will be required to update the host file (will be at C:\SYSROOT\system32\drivers\etc) and to update the SAP GUI with the appropriate SAP system.
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • Create user for integration builder

  • Login problem for gateway

    hi
I installed gateway and portal server on seperate machine. The gateway machine has 2 network card, the network card A is connected to the subnet 129.158.*.*, and the other network card B is connected the subnet 192.168.*.*. the portal server is also with the subnet 192.168.*.* .
After I installed the gateway and portal server successfully, I access the gateway with the url, https://gateway;443, the the AM server login page appears, then I input the correct username and password. But after I input them and submit, the AM server login page appears again. I checked the AM log file, and it said login successfully.
do you have some related experience ?
    regards
    Eric

Are you using an FQDN to access the gateway? Can you check with liveHTTPHeaders plugin for Firefox that the SSOToken (cookie) is sent to the gateway?
If this is the case, check the amSDK debug logs of the gateway to check wether the gateway can verify the SSOToken of the user.

  • EPCM problem for integrating dojo tree

    Hi,
I added a dijit tree of dojo in a iview, if set its isolation method to "URL", the tree can work, but if set it to "Embeded", the tree will not show. I found it is influenced by EPCM framework,  as if the EPCM re-defined the tree, and the tree miss some events. I need use the embedded iview for it, so how to solve it?
    Thanks

    Hi frank,
    Thank you for being interested.
This web app works like an ERP (enterprise resource planning). Around 50 persons should use it. Depending on their roles they have rights for view, create, modify data in different modules (business development, human resources, instrument maintenance, etc). Each module contains many pages (customer creation and edition, quotation management, etc).
The tree displays each module and some pages of each represented by hyperlinks. Depending on the user who is logged in the tree displays less or more possible navigations. It should enable to navigate quickly from one page to another by these links. User can choose to hide it. So if user well know the application he doesn't need really to use the tree (there is other way to navigate), but for beginners it should display in a simple way all the tasks they can perform depending on their role.
I hope this explanation is more clear. In my last tries, i'm putting it in the menu3 facet of my pages, but i've problem to target the window. When i put _parent display is correct but the browser address bar display "http...myTree.jsp" and not the called page address. I'm working on, so i very appreciate all tips, advices you can give to me
    Thanks and regards,
    Tif

  • Install and login problem for APEX2.2

Hi, I have installed Oracle APEX2.2 on my oracle10.2.0 windows server with oracle 10http. I have followed all the instruction of Installation manual. However I run into problem when I tried to access the login page.
    1. I couldn't see any image from the webpage.
I have copied all the images from installation directary into ....\Apache\Apache\images, and put this as alias in marve.conf.
    2. after I put in 'admin' and password from "application Express administration services" page, I click login button. however nothing happen, I only can say "error on page" from status bar.
Does anyone have similar problem? Does anyone know the problem?
    Any help is appreciated.

    Danield,
I think your may have to double check with your marvel.conf (Oracle10HTTP). Deponse on what you have put your Location section there, you will see different responds.
    e.g.in my marvel.conf:
    <Location /pls/apex>
    Order deny,allow
    PlsqlDocumentPath docs
    AllowOverride None
    PlsqlDocumentProcedure wwv_flow_file_manager.process_download
    PlsqlDatabaseConnectString XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX ServiceNameFormat
    PlsqlNLSlanguage XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXx
    PlsqlAuthenticationMode XXXXXXXXXXXX
    Sethandler XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    PlsqlDocumentTablename XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    PlsqlDatabaseUsername XXXXXXXXXXXX
    PlsqlDefaultPage apex
    PlsqlDatabasePassword xxxxxxxx
    Allow from all
    </Location>
    Hope this will help.
