XI Receiver Channel - Dynamic Logon Language

Hello,
Is there any way to define dynamically the logon language in XI Receiver Channel?
Our cenario is an ECC -> PI -> ECC integration using XI sender and receiver channel. Depending on a specific element in message payload we want to define the corresponding logon language in receiver system. The goal is to return messages to sender system (synchronous scenario) in a language that each user can understand..
Do you have any ideas about how can we achieve such requirement?
Thanks in advance,
Pedro Leal

OK, right ... As XI adapter does not (seem to) offer ASMA for dynamic logon data management and I don't think you could extend its functionalities with your own custom module neither
And you can't change anything at all in the target system ? Tough mission then ... If you don"t have many languages to handled, you could try to use multiple adapters, one created for each language, and depending on your conditions, route the messages using the appropriate RFC channel ? But I think it's quite a poor design

  • Dynamic Logon language for Travel Expenses WD ABAP iViews

    Hi,
    Scenario:
    We have customized standard Travel & Expenses WD ABAP components (FITV_FPM or so).
    For them, my task is to create custom Portal navigation as follows: -
    Top level nav = ESS
    2nd level nav = Travel & Expenses
    Detailed Navigation =  # My Trips & Expenses
    Create expense report
    I have created above navigation by copying std WDA iViews from 'Cont provided by SAP' folder.
    Task: -
    - Create two roles, one for French users (FR) & other for remaining users (GLOBAL).
    - For FR role, above two iViews & iViews that open on POWL toolbar button clicks,  should be in FR language.
    - For GLOBAL role, above two iViews & iViews that open on POWL toolbar button clicks,  should be in EN language.
    - I have changed 'Logon Language' property for both iViews in both roles accordingly.
    Issue: -
    - Only 1st iView, i.e. My Trips & Expenses and Create expense report open in respecting language (as set in iView property of each role).
    - But all other iViews that open on 'Change, Delete, Copy' POWL toolbar button clicks, shows user's Portal language.
    Any idea why this is happening?
    I guess these POWL actions navigate to some pre-defined Portal location and open those iViews. Is this correct?
    Is there any kind of table for Travel Management package in SAP where these Portal links are maintained?
    Thanks & Regards,

    Good Afteernoon.
    But the system not display the services in the page of area.

  • Issue in Dynamic configuration in SOAP receiver channel

    Hi All,
    My scenario is file to SOAP. At receiver side I want to generate URL dynamically.
    To proceed step by step, I started with passing a constant URL to Dynamic configuration UDF.
    mapping:
    Dynamic conf. UDF
    Channel Configuration:
    From testing, I found that channel always takes the url given in Target URL field and dynamic URL in TserverLocation is been ignored by the channel.
    That is dynamic configuration is not working completely.
    I went through a lot of blogs and also tried a lot of trial and error methods, but none helped. Every thing I configured looks perfect for me, but still not working. I don't understand where I went wrong. Please help me.

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing similar issue,
    URL --> UDF --> @dynamicvariable
    I have created a variable underparent node eg: DESADV-->dynamicvariable
    passed complete URL to UDF, below is the UDF
    & configured SOAP Receiver Channel as well. This is IDOC to IDOC scenario, using IDOC_AAE on sender side and SOAP on receiver in single stack.
    --> Checked ASMA
    --> Checked Variable Transport Binding and given "TServerLocation" without quotes in XHeaderName1
    --> Target URL: http://
    But when I am running this interface, nothing is coming in Dynamic configuration.
    Ref: Message Log:
    MM and OM is also perfect in ESR.
    Any suggestions? Please advice.

  • Does XI Adapter (ABAP Proxy)  allows multiple LogOn Languages??

    Hi ALL,
      I have a doubt like whther we can give multiple logon languages in the XI Receiver Adapter ( ABAP Proxy ).
    For example,
      I am getting data in "English" - EN  , "Russian" - RU , "Japanese" - JA etc. Can I give these all languages as "LogOn Language" while configuring the XI receiver adapter? If so how? else, is there any other option for this.
    Thanks,
    Anudeep.

    hi,
    I don't think it's possible to precise dynamically the logon lanaguage which has to be used in the receiver XI adapter (proxy).
    [Help SAP on XI adapter|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/99/115281baba404890d2561617a78409/frameset.htm]
    Maybe a solution could be in the mapping to have a rule which determines the receiver (EN, RU,JA) that should receive a message or another one, and then for each receiver to specific a unique CC. So in your case to define three CC (one for each langauge): EN + RU + JA.
    Anyway I don't really understand the reason to manage that... The interest of logon language is when we want to write a text. But in SAP you can write a Japan text even if you are log-in in English by specifying the Language Code !
    So maybe the solution of your problem, is to send to your proxy the text but also the ISO language code linked to this text, so to do what SAP does in IDoc and BAPI.

  • Error in file receiver channel "Unknown payload format 0 in the message"

    hello
    there is an errror in my receiver file channel with the status "Unknown payload format "
    my channel is file receiver channel.

    Hi there,
    First of all, what TBDL means - It means that the message was successfully delivered from Integration Server and that the messages are handed over to the Messaging System.
    TBDL occurs when the message is put into the receiving queue of the Messaging System.
    What can be done?
    Go to Messaging System receive servlet:
    http://<Host>:<PORT>/MessagingSystem/receive/<CONNECTION>/<PROTOCOL>
    If this was executed successfully, then the MS returns HTTP 200 to the Integration Server and the status TBDL moves to DELIVERING (check whether you have authorization to go to the above link).
    --> Log-in to SAP using - XIAPPLUSER & XIAFUSER, and check if they are blocked
    --> Check the messages:
    AF
    com.sap.aii.adapterframework.serviceuser.language
    com.sap.aii.adapterframework.serviceuser.name = XIAFUSER
    com.sap.aii.adapterframework.serviceuser.pwd
    AS
    com.sap.aii.applicationsystem.serviceuser.language

  • How to call communication channel dynamically? Please help!

    Hi Experts,
       BizTalk -
    > XI -
    > SAP SYS01
                          XI|----
    >SAP SYS02
       We are integrating Biztalk with SAP via XI. BizTalk send rosattenet PIP via JMS adapter to XI. XI then sends the PIP data to SAP system using RFC adapter.
       In the PIP we have a parameter for plant code. Now if plant code is 'ABC' then we need to send the data to SAP SYS01 else if plant code is 'XYZ' then send the data to SAP SYS02.
      In other words we have RFC communication channel one each for each SAP system.
      This is like calling the communication channel dynamically based on palnt code.
      How can we do this in XI? Please help!
    Thanks & Regards,

    this is a typical case for a XPATH based conditional routing. note that your receiver will have binding with the interface and the communication channel

  • Proxy receiver channel with HTTP destination or URL address?

    Hi Experts,
         I have a scenario as below:
         (Webservice Client)SOAP --> PI --> PROXY(SAP ECC).
         A webservice client calls PI using SOAP. PI then sends the request to SAP ECC using PROXY.
        I am using AAE. Therefore I have ICO.
        In the receiver PROXY channel I have given:
       ADAPTER TYPE: SOAP
       Transport Protocol: HTTP
       Message Protocol: XI3.0.
       Under connection parameters:
       Addressing Type dropdown as 2 entries HTTP destination and URL address.
       In what cases i should use HTTP destination and URL address respectively?
       Which option is preferred?
       Do they work same or differently? How?
       When I select HTTP destination where should I create the corresponding RFC destination? In PI ABAP stack using SM59 or PI NWA?
       If this HTTP destination is created in PI ABAP stack using SM59 then what type it should be? H? or G?
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi Gopal,
    In creating XI receiver communication channel, you have 2 options for Addressing Type:
    1. URL Address - no need to create RFC destination. You just have to specify the XI receiver host name, HTTP port, path (/sap/xi/engine?type=receiver), Authentication data (logon details for SAP Client number of the PI system).
    2. HTTP Destination - create RFC destination in SXMB_ADM and specify the RFC destination name in your receiver communication channel.

  • Issue about IDoc Adapter Receiver Channel's Performance

    Hi Everyone,
    Currently, I am working on a scenario of File -Integration Process - IDoc in XI 3.0 with patch level 16. The scenario works fine when it process one/two/three files in parallel, and the IDocs arrive R/3 system quite fast. But when I try four files in parallel, the whole XI server blocks, I can not do anything even logon Integration Builder, and the IDocs arrive R/3 brokenly, sometime with the invterval to 10 minutes. When the XI comes back, I found all the four integration processes finish successfully and each transaction works fine and fast. What's more, after I change the IDoc Adapter receiver channel to a File Adapter receiver channel, it works fine for even 20 files in parallel. So I think it is some issue about IDoc Adapter receiver channel. Does anyone have the same experience as me? Any comments will be appreciate.
    Regards,
    Nick

    Hi Nick,
    Can you check this Blog-
    /people/sreekanth.babu2/blog/2005/01/05/delayed-xi-message-processing
    May be useful.
    How are you picking the files .. You can try with EOIO options while picking the file.
    But if you use BPM, it is not applicable. It will act as a EO only.
    Check this SAP Note- 833740

  • Set file name with XSLT - receiver channel - elements from XML?

    Dear experts,
    I have an XSLT mapping for a message that is sent via a receiver channel to a customer.
    The customer wants a certain file name which is put toghether by elements from the XML message.
    I have looked at:
    Re: Java Map for writing the file
    The java code and the XSLT work perfectly!
    In the line
    fos = new FileOutputStream(new File("Fixed_" + new Date().getTime() + ".xml"));
    a fixed value, date and time are used for the file name.
    But I need some values from the XML message to create my name. But how do I do that? Can I somehow get values from the XML message through that java function or do I have to adapt the XSLT?
    Can someone please help me!
    Thank you,
    Peter

    Hi Udo, Hello experts,
    Now I do have a problem. I am using this XSL file:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
      xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
      xmlns:map="java:java.util.Map"
      xmlns:dyn="java:com.sap.aii.mapping.api.DynamicConfiguration"
      xmlns:key="java:com.sap.aii.mapping.api.DynamicConfigurationKey">
    <xsl:output indent="no" />
    <xsl:param name="inputparam"/>
    <xsl:template match="/">
        <!-- change dynamic configuration -->
        <xsl:variable name="dynamic-conf"
            select="map:get($inputparam, 'DynamicConfiguration')" />
        <xsl:variable name="dynamic-key"
            select="key:create('http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File', 'FileName')" />
        <xsl:variable name="dummy"
            select="dyn:put($dynamic-conf, $dynamic-key, 'TOOLDATA_.xml')" />
      <xsl:copy-of select="." />
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    But then the output file is only named "TOOLDATA_.xml". So I assume the XSL is working.
    And I am using this Java-file:

                   DynamicConfigurationKey KEY_FILENAME = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
                   int len = 0;
                   byte buf[] = new byte[BUFFER];
                   FileOutputStream fos = null;
                   if (conf != null)
                        fos = new FileOutputStream(new File(conf.get(KEY_FILENAME) + new Date().getTime()) ); //sample only
                   else
                        fos = new FileOutputStream(new File("Fixed_" + new Date().getTime() + ".xml"));
                        while ((len = inputstream.read(buf)) > 0)
                             outputstream.write(buf, 0, len);
                             fos.write(buf, 0, len);
                        fos.close();
              catch(Exception e){ e.printStackTrace();}
         public void transform(TransformationInput arg0, TransformationOutput arg1)

              getTrace().addInfo("JAVA Mapping Called");
         this.execute(arg0.getInputPayload().getInputStream(), arg1
              .getOutputPayload().getOutputStream());
    Could you please help me find the mistake. I tried to test it locally by changing the main-method but I could not get it to work.
    Thank you very much for any ideas!

  • SFTP receiver channel Archive filename isssue

    Hi,
    I am working on SAP SFTP adapter (SAP PI7.4).
    SFTP receiver channel is placing the file with correct filename as generated by dynamic configuration code but sftp channel is adding an extra .txt extension in filename while archiving.
    Example:       Actual Filename: CCBGI.SSEN_TNG.BATCH0000000000000052.sft
                        At archive folder : CCBGI.SSEN_TNG.BATCH0000000000000052.sft.txt
    Please suggest resolution for this.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Nida Fatima

    There is an SAP-note 1817747 on this which tells you: "It's not a bug, it's a feature".
    http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1817747
    Symptom
    At the sender side of SFTP Adapter, the flag "Archive Files on PI Server" is checked and the field "Archive name" is configured to archive the files on PI Server. During message processing, it is noticed, that, files are being archived in the archive directory with ".txt" extension.
    Reason and Prerequisites
    This feature has been added as a part of security so that the files will be saved with ".txt" extension in the archive directory. If it is allowed to be saved with original name on the PI server, then an external attack can manipulate the path where the file has been archived and gain access to OS related path and modify the files. Hence, to avoid such security issues, the file extension is always changed to ".txt".
    Anyway, you might have a look at SAP-note 1815655 as there is an advanced parameter mentioned to add a "default extension" to a file. http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1815655
    Also, an advanced mode parameter "addDefaultFileExtension" has been introduced. If this parameter is set to 'true', then, while archiving the files on SFTP server, the additional check will be performed to check whether the file has ".txt" extension or not. If not, then the ".txt" extension will be added with the file name. Else, normal execution continues i.e. files will be archived on the SFTP server with their original name.
    The default value for the parameter "addDefaultFileExtension" is 'false'.

  • User role for user authentication in a SOAP receiver channel

    Hi,
    What is the role required for a user in a SOAP receiver channel. This user is specified in the User Authentication while configuring the channel.

    Hi,
    User Authentication is not mandatory but If your Web service requires logon data, select the Configure User Authentication checkbox and fill in the corresponding fields.
    If the Web service is outside your system landscape and you need to address a proxy
    server, select the Configure Proxy checkbox.
    The sender SOAP adapter does not require a SOAP action, but you always have
    to apply logon data when using the SOAP adapter. In the central adapter engine
    you can use a service user such as xiappluser; in a non-central adapter
    engine or a PCK you must use one of the user names assigned to security role
    xi_adapter_soap_message for component XISOAPAdapter.

  • Re-using JMS Receiver Channel

    Hi,
    I have scenarios with SAP -> PI -> 2 Different External Parties.
    External Parties use JMS.
    There are some flows which are common for both the parties, like sending Acknowledgement from SAP to JMS.
    Now can I just configure one common Receiver Communication Channel and Send message (Acknowledgement) to any of the two Parties? So I will have two Receiver Agreements using the same Receiver JMS channel.
    Like by using some concept can I populate JMS channel parameters like IP Address or Server Name , JMS Queue
    Thank you,
    Pankaj.

    Hi,
    You need as many receiver channels as you have JMS queues. When you have 60 JMS queues, then you need 60
    channels.
    I have only 6 queues; one each for one Party.
    When you send all messages to same JMS queues and receiver can identify the message type anyhow, then you need
    only one channel for this queue.
    Ok.
    But even when you have only one JMS queue, you might need seperate channels anyway, for example when you use
    FCC for each interface individually.
    So basically if the setting is different then I need to have that number of channels. the way messages are sent is the same in all the cases. Even when we are using Dynamic Configuration it is the same for all the messages to be send to the External Party.
    Thank you,
    Pankaj.

  • Changing HTTP-Parameters for HTTP Receiver Channel

    Dear all,
    we have a partner we send files to using the simple HTTP adapter.
    We have different types of messages (interfaces) we send to the partner.
    Our partner expects the message type as a parameter of the URL. Such as http://xxx:000/xxx?msgtype=outbound
    In turn, the "outbound" could also be "inbound" - depending on the message type.
    I want to avoid using to services with two adapters.
    Thus, my question to you: Do you have an idea how I could manipulate the parameter's value?
    Thanks in advance,
    Helge

    Hi Helge,
    if you have Sp14 and above you can try setting the url
    dynamically in the mapping using Adapter-Specific Message Attributes in the http receiver channel:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/43/64dbb0af9f30b4e10000000a11466f/content.htm
    this way it should be no problem to change it

  • As2 receiver channel, SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error

    Hi,
    There is one scenario in our landscape, its running in production, Proxy to As2. The interface working fine for last 2 weeks, today its showing error in As2 receiver channel saying
    Message processing failed. Cause: javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error # , SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error #
    I have searched in forum, but couldnt get much idea on why this error encounters and how can we resolve it.
    Kindly provide your inputs to help me resolve this.
    Thanks,
    Ruchi

    Hi Ruchi,
    500 means the requested server does not understand the request (the requested service is unknown). The reason is obvisiously outside of PI. You have to contact the 3rd party owner and ask why the system is refusing the request instead of responsing like before.

  • BW Report Language differs EP Logon Language

    Hi,
    I am using a Portal BW Report iview.
    The Portal Logon Language is German ("DE")
    SAPSSO2 is used for Single Sign On.
    The iview BW Report Language is set to
    "sap-language=EN&bsplanguage=EN&..." (BEx Query part)
    But the SAP BW system displays the report in "DE" (German, i.e. all english Texts are missing)
    In the sniffer trace, I can see that the initial http request is done with "sap-language=DE&.."
    Any idea is welcome

    We had an Open SAP Call regarding the same issues.
    Sap Support suggested to us to implement SPS11 on the BI System to get this solved.They will allow to overwrite the language via query string in SP11 (which also means that you can overwrite it via the respective iView property).
    Feedback From SAP Support:
    Please understand that SPS11 is a prerequisite for providing this new functionality and we won't be able to downport it to a lower SPS.
    Hope this helps.
