XI Runtime Cache not updated

Hi,
For my scenario in the XI Runtime cache I am getting an error saying it is not updated though I have activated all the Standard Change lists in the Design and Configuration part of XI.
How do I need to solve this problem?
Need help........
Thank you,
Joslyn.

Hi Joslyn,
First try to run the scenario. and then check SXI_CACHE in XI system
Check this guide-

  • Managed servers cache not updated when we deploy a new EAR....

    Hi All,
    I have the following query :
    Perform the following steps :
    1. Stop the managed servers
    2. Delete and create jms servers
    3. Undeploy existing EARs
    4. Deploy new EARs
    5. Start the managed servers
    If we perform these steps we see that the managed server cache normally get a copy of the new EARs from the admin server.
    However if we modify the above steps as :
    1. Stop the managed servers
    2. Delete and create jms servers
    3. Undeploy existing EARs
    4. Deploy new EARs
    5. Re-do step #2, i.e. delete and create jms servers
    6. Start the managed servers
    This time the managed server's cache is not updated with the new EAR file when it starts up.
    Any idea as to why this behaviour....also the EAR could be a small sample MDB application from weblogic.
    We deploy these app via java weblogic.Deployer command.
    Any thoughts ..would be highly appreciated ....
    Regards,
    Stacey.

    Hi Stacey,
    Did you check the EAR copy cached before doing Setp 5
    ("5. Re-do step #2, i.e. delete and create jms servers")
    Can you confirm once.

    Kal.

  • Cache not updated?

    We have a the following relationship:
    Application <-*> Card -> Status
    The star means that we have a one-to-many relationship where the Application has many cards.
    First we load up the application and display the card (just one for this case) with it's status. Then the database gets new information from a second client (the status relation is updated). We wait a while (not expecting an immediate update of the TopLink cache), but there is still no update on the next read. We wait a long time, and still no update. Restart of the container fixes it.
    What am I missing here? Can something hold on to the objects so it never expires from cache? Is there an easy way to figure out what is holding on?
    I tried to set the cards "Refreshing Cache Options" to "Always Refresh" with "Disable Cache Hits". No go.
    This is kind of urgent, so any pointers or help would be excellent.
    Anders,

    Hello Anders,
    I would never recommend NoIdentityMap, especially when you have object references. The problem is that object identity is not maintained, which with circular references, opens up the possibility for many problems. StackOverflowException is not surprising, since reading an Employee would cause its manager to be read in, and since there is no identityMap, would need the Employee to be re-read causing the manager to be re-read. Indirection on every relationship would pretty much be required, though it would be better if there were no relationships on descriptors using the NoIdentityMap option.
    As for the Session.copyObject() method, I'm not sure what you mean that the results are correct or incorrect. I'm assuming that you are reading an object from the session - this object then will exist in the session cache; and that it is this object you are copying. The copy created is completely detached from TopLink, and so any changes that get merged into the cached object will not be merged into the copy.

  • Cache not updated on Value Mapping Replication  PI 7.1

    Hi,
    I already configure an scenario to do Value Mapping Replication on PI 7.1
    I am sending the xml file thru an HTTP client and it seems to go all the way down. I have a "Processed Successfully" status in the moni but the thing is that I can not see any difference in the Cache at the RWB.
    My receiver agreement uses the ValueMappingReplication interface to a CC of type XI.
    Any ideas on what could be wrong?
    Thanks in advance.
    Luis

    Hi  Udo,
    Your reply pointed me to the right direction.
    In the RWB I found out that my group-id was in the wrong format, so to be sure, I used a function module called /OSP/GET_GUID.  That way I generate a correct 32-bit group-id.
    Now it works.
    Thanks.
    Luis.

  • Interface mapping Object does not exist in runtime cache

    I am getting the following error after importing IR into our test system (PI7.0 SP10).
    Interface mapping Object ID 19C3AC9D13B03787AEEB85169D0B6900 Software Component 8C51B2209F3C11DB94CEEB180DDF0074 does not exist in runtime cache Exception of class CX_XMS_SYSERR_MAPPING
    You want to execute interface mapping Object ID 19C3AC9D13B03787AEEB85169D0B6900 Software Component 8C51B2209F3C11DB94CEEB180DDF0074 .     However,the data of this interface mapping is missing in the runtime cache. Activate the interface mapping in the Integration Repository.
    I cannot change the mapping and reactivate - as this cannot be changed.
    I have run SXI_Cache, Cleared SLD caches on IR and ID and run cacherefresh=full, but no luck!
    The mapping is there and I can test it in the IR.
    Any thoughts?

    I had this problem today, maybe this helps someone when searching about this (at least this is the first hit at a very big search engine when searching for interface mapping does not exist...)
    I have a RFC => PI => File scenario. I was aware that this would need to be asynchronous so I set up the message interface (service interface for PI > 7.0) as asynchronous inbound. This is the file receiver part of the interface.
    Hints on the error: Audit Log in message details of RWB showed a line like this: RFC adapter received sRFC for ZMY_FM from <sender SID>/<sender client>. Attempting to send message synchronously. This of course could not work as file is asynchronous by default.
    Bottom line however was, to make the call of the sender RFC asynchronous by using "in background task" like so:
    CALL FUNCTION 'ZMY_FM'
       IN BACKGROUND TASK
       DESTINATION 'PI_DEST'
       EXPORTING
         t_file = lt_file.
    COMMIT WORK.
    Don't forget the commit work here.
    Hope this helps.
    Cheers
    Jens

  • Integration Process does not appear in ID or Runtime Cache

    I created an Integration process and it has not appeared as an available service in the Integration Directory when createing a receiver determination. It also does not appear in the runtime cache.
    Last week I created a different IP and that exists in both places. Between that time and now we migrated the SLD from one machine to another; I don't know if this will have an affect, but all messages interfaces created today appear in the Integration Directory, so there is a communication path at least.
    Can anybody advise how to proceed?

    Hi
    You should import the IP from IR to ID.
    In ID Goto Objects tab, here expand Service without party, you got the IP, from here you right click mouse>new>give some name and import your created IP in the IR.
    Then you get the IP in the ID.

  • Outlook 2010 shared mailbox in cache mode not updating Inbox automatically

    I have a user who has XP on his desktop, running Outlook 2010, connecting to a Exchange 2010 w/SP2.  I recently added a shared mailbox for him to monitor. I did it the old way by adding additional mailbox to his client (outlook 2010) pc.. I understand
    now  that in 2010 SP1 or greater that you can simply do this from the exchange server by granting full access permissions.  Either way, the user sees the mailbox and gets email in the shared mailbox ONLY when he clicks on the inbox and
    clicks on Update Folder. For some reason it is not auto updating new email. His personal account works fine, meaning when a new email is received it comes in and you see new mail.  The account is in cache mode and I've looked at other shared
    mailboxs that are working fine and the settings look the same? I'm not sure why this shared mailbox is not updating?
    William McConnell

    I can see this is an old thread but I have a relevant question.
    This workaround does indeed work but what else is possible to do? The cashed mode is more or less necessary when working with large shared mailboxes.

    Here you go
    Employees can see their email signatures and disclaimers
    With Exchange 2013, a Microsoft Outlook user can’t see any added email signatures or disclaimers as they are added to an email when it passes through the Exchange server.
    Signature Manager Exchange Edition lets email users see their email signature and corporate disclaimer within the Sent Items of their inbox, giving them visual confirmation of the processed email

    I'm pretty much sure that this problem is related with some version mismatch on their s/w on exchange 2013 which is causing this issue.

  • H:inputText and immediate="true" not updating cached backing bean value

    Hi,
    I am having a problem with h:inputText and immediate="true" when
    returning back to the same page.I looked through the forums but the
    only solution to remove the page from the session works only if I
    don't have to change any button label names in the page I am going back
    to.Unfortunately, I have to change a button name when I go back to the
    same page.The button name change works if i don't remove the page from
    session but then h:inputtext has stale values in it from the backing
    bean.I also need to avoid validation as it is a huge form.
    I have tried looking through the JSF forums but they didn't have any
    answers for a very similar question.
    I am not sure how exactly to use component binding for the input text and update the model values using an actionListener.I have tried puting a binding on an input text field and then used an actionListener instead of immediate="true' in the h:commandLink.But, putting context.renderResponse() in the actionListener method results in the model values not getting updated.
    I have also tried using component.processUpdates(facesContext) as in the UpdateModelValuePhase class -that too doesn't work.
    Thanks for any help,
    Vijay
    Details:
    The <h:inputText ..> does not populate the values back from a backing
    bean when immediate="true" is used when an action is called.
    <h:commandLink id="selectPrincipalId"
    action="#{application.selectPrincipal}" immediate="true">
    Only <h:inputText has the cached values from the first entry.
    <h:inputText id="principalLastName1Id"
    value="#{application.currentPrincipal.lastName}" size="10"/><== this
    has the cached value from the backing bean application.
    <h:outputText gets the new values from the backing bean when the same
    page is reentered.
    <h:outputText value="#{application.currentPrincipal.lastName}"></h:outputText><==
    this refreshes with the new value from the backing bean application.
    Here is the solution to rectify the problem:
    FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    ExternalContext externalContext = facesContext.getExternalContext();
    Map sessionMap = externalContext.getSessionMap();
    sessionMap.remove("/jsp/befg/tc/apply/enterCreditApplication.jsp");
    <== this is the name of the jsf page as defined in the
    faces-config.xml.

    Hi,I have encountered the same problem as you,and I find a solution myself,which is shown as follows,but I don't know if these is any hidden trouble in the code.
    <h:form>
    <h:commandLink action="#{app.action}" immediate="true" actionListener="#{app.update}">xxxx</h:commandLink>
    <h:inputText id="_id" value="#{app.val}" immediate="true"/> //must set immediate="true" else the model will be not updated
    <h:message for="_id"/>
    </h:form>
    public class App{
    public void update(ActionEvent event){
         FacesContext c = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
         UIViewRoot root =c.getViewRoot();
         root.processUpdates(c);//to update model and short-circuit the validators
    in such circumstance,the UIViewRoot's processUpdates method will be called in the actionlistener,and the back bean who titled to immediate(true)'s inputText will be updated, but the one who titled to immdiate(false)'s inputText will not be updated,Why?
    Can anyone tell me way?and how to solve?
    Thanks a lot!

  • HT1229 itunes will not update ipod cache for iPhoto 11

    My itunes does not update my iphone 4s to the latest pictures loaded onto iphoto 11, no updates available. Any clues as to what is wrong, could Pixelmator be the problem?

    Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
    Look there for the iPod Photo Cache.
    Trash it. Start iPhoto and try sync again.

  • Interface Mapping does not exist in runtime cache

    Hi,
    I have a scenario of RFC to SOAP, when I do the test I get the error message "Interface mapping http://sapxi.xxx.co.za/XXXXXX/ InterfaceMapping_Name does not exist in runtime cache"
    Regards
    Scharlotte

    Hi...
    Try to re-create the Interface mapping.
    And also test your Configuration with test tool where you can find the error on which step.
    if the error found in interface mapping.. do re-create the interface determination step and receiver agreement.
    Provide the payload which is taken from sxmb_moni --> Inbound msg --> Payload
    u can follow this blog for how to test configuration part:
    Test Your XI Configuration With The New Test Tool
