XML export option in COID - ECC6

The said option was avl in ECC5 but seems to be missing in ECC6.... any idea how to bring back the same

There is a table SALV_BS_ADMIN ( new in ECC6 not there in ECC5 ) on which we need to maintain for the parameter GUI_ALV_XML_VER the value 02 or 04 or 08 . based on this when the spreadsheet option is clicked in the alv this will take to xls ot xml ot HTML...

CRVS2010 - beta - XML export options

Hello,
I've been testing the xml export option in crvs2010. I can't find the Manage XML Exporting Formats dialog box that is in CR2008 - in this location File - - > Export - - > Manage XML.
Is this dialog box in CRVS2010? If so, where is it? I looked, but can't find it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Tracy,
No need to repost this question. CR Designer has a bunch of functions through menu options that are not available through the API set. They are custom features that are unique only in the Designer and no plans to make then available through code.
As mentioned, you can write your own code to emulate what that function does using your own Export button.

There never was a trial version of FCP7. The application was only ever sold as part of the Final Cut Studio suite of applications. You might still find copies on eBay.

Problems in Limiting Export option in Web Analysis shortcut menu options

Hi everyone,
i'm trying to limit the shortcut menù option in Web Analysis studio following the instructions in the WA 9.3.1 user guide: "Limiting Web Analysis Studio Shortcut Menu Options" page 293. Exactly i would hyde the Export to some users (an user with Viewer and Expoler permissions).
The problem is that the solution does not work.
Resuming:
First, I have created the WAMenu.xml file, with restrictions for the roles: Viewer and Explorer (using the same tags of the Sample XML File in the guide)
Second, I have modified the WebAnalysis.properties file removing the # ahead this two lines:
"WAStudioMenuControl= C:/Hyperion/Analyzer/conf/WAMenu.xml
ModuleName=WebAnalysisStudio"
and modified the path with the correct location of the XML file.
At last, i have restart the services regarding Workspace and Web Analysis.
But, it does not work. The user can still see the export options in the shortcut menu..I don't understand what is wrong..
I really hope that someone can help me!!

Unfortunately it doesn't restrict neither in the workspace nor in the WA studio.
I made a lot of attempts, not only with export but also with other option, and there are no changes!!
Do you remember if you made the same steps descripted above, or there is something that i did not make (or made wrong)??

Crystal Report 2008 SP2 & InfoView: Custom XML Export doesnt work

Hi,
I have created a Crystal Report .rpt and want to use the custom xml export function to output a custom xml file. For that, I created a custom transformation file (xsl) and imported it into the .rpt . On the client machine, if I open the .rpt with Crystal Reports 2008 SP2, and select to export it using the custom xml output, all runs fine. (under SP1, only half the file was created...)
If I upload the .rpt file to Infoview (server-side: BO Enterprise 3.1, SP2 as well) and schedule it, I can select xml, and then my custom xml as output format, but I am getting the error message u201EUngültige Exportoptionen" (="invalid export options"), in the instance history. No output file is created. I use file system as destination. Other output formats like .pdf and .rpt work fine and files are created.
Ideas:
-Are there any more settings needed on the server (e.g.CMC - Crystal Server Jobs, other Processes, ...) so I can schedule the report and successfully create the custom xml format file as output?
-Do I need to upgrade to a specific SP or FP on server-side so everything runs smooth?

Invalid Export Options RAS SDKs

As given in post Re: XML Export - Cannot select format CR2008 SP2 We are using RAS sdks and given sample code but still we are gettting same error i.e. Invalid Export Options.
Is this also scheduled to be fixed in SP3.

Allow XML export of cell style information

The XML formatting using namespace attributes for tables is extremely cool. For importing anyway.
Today I've got a bunch of fairly complex, manually created tables that I'm creating an XML structure for. I need to export the resulting XML as an example for a programmer, who will create a script that will allow me to take external data and wrap it in the 'aid5' namespace table tags. I can then import tons of data and have it autoflow into my document in a format that matches the tables that I've developed manually.
Unfortunately my table structure and data display relies on a bunch of specific cell styles. The XML export works beautifully in providing the overall structure and table dimensions. It can even output the paragraph styles for the data, which is sort of helpful. But it totally omits the crucial cell style data that is necessary for strokes, padding backgrounds, etc. I'm still not sure how I'm going to get that in there.
Hopefully this is not too unusual an application to warrant the option to export cell and table style data.
I'm still using CS3, so pardon me if this has already been addressed. If not though, please consider it, thanks!

Are you trying to export user (SYS and SYSTEM) as well into an XML file? or are you trying to get all of one schema into a XML file?
One possibility:
You could create an interim table which contains the tablenames.
create table interim as select table_name from dba_tables where owner = 'OWNERNAME';
Then in your program read this interimtable into a cursor and loop through it using the variable in place of your hardcoded 'select * from table1' in the DBMS_XMLQuery.newContext
You would then need to append result1 to result1 plus new query context for the clob.

Regarding Pdf to xml export

I have pdf which i created in adobe acrobat pro.by using acrobat pro i was able to export pdf to xml(More form options -->Export Data->SaveAsType-->xml) which i want .but i want to do this in a button click to do the same export option. is it possible in acrobat pro using JavaScript. Premiere export option are grayed, only two options aren't gray, and neither are what i need please help!

i am new to premiere pro, i recently edited a whole short film, effects, music, everything, but it will not give me an option to export. the only export options are: AAF and FINAL CUT PRO XML, can anyone please help me figure out how to fix this? i really dont think i can remake this project! and its due by the end of the week! i need to export as a regular avi/movie file, to upload to youtube and send in an email and burn on a disk. ive tried a few things, including searching online for answers but i havent had any luck on my own. please please help!

XML export root node attriubute?

I need to use XML export extension to generate XML to something like this:

The problem is the root nodes path="images/"
Is there a way to edit the XMLExport.class.php to do that?
I can in DW edit the $xmlExportObj->setRootNode('photos'); to $xmlExportObj->setRootNode('photos path="images/"');
But that gives an error because the end node looks like </photos path="images/">
Hopefully there is an easy fix for this

Acctually I found out a quick way. I edit the XMLExport.class.php
In the bottom just before the headers i just put in:
$document .= '</Photos>';
Instead of:
$document .= '</' . $this->rootNodeName . '>';
Off course this is not so dynamic. And can only be used for the page I want.
Otherwise I think that the Spry export to XML is great.

Discoverer viewer export option

Hi All,
When i am using the export to reports XML format option i am getting error that is due to some cross tab error.
Help me out to overcome this error.

Custom formatting from Disco does not appear in Excel. I always forget whether Disco does not export the formats, or if Excel ignores them (or both).
I think there are a few other threads where people have exported to HTML, imported the HTML into Excel, and had the formatting preserved.

Xml export - registration gift

I read that the xml export extension was one of the options
as an incentive when registering Creative Suite Web Premium,
however when I upgraded (via DW on first launch) I didn't see an
option to download, and haven't received an email. Is this
something that takes awhile, or is it immediate? It's been 2 days
since I registered. Perhaps I'm just to impatient :)

This is the code which is used for ReportViewer 2008 and i need code for ReportViewer 2010. I don't want to change in the reportserver's RSReportSErver.Config
file because same report server we are using for different projects where in some projects we require pdf and some we do not. Below is the code for reportviwer 2008 where the export button is rendered as a dropdown and in reportviwer 2010, Export button is

Elements 11 premium EXPORT option

why can i not use the EXPORT option on elements premium 11 to convert a file to my pc???

The .PREL is the Project file. It is just an XML database with instructions and links to the Imported media Assets - nothing more.
As Neale points out, in PrE 11, one would "export" via the Publish+Share, to create an AV file from the Timeline. No conversion is needed, as that is what PrE does - takes that .PREL file, and creates an AV file per its instructions, through the links to the media Assets. Just follow Neale's instructions.
When you do a Save (or Save_As, etc.), it is ONLY the .PREL file, which is Saved. When you do the Publish+Share, you are "saving" that Timeline, as a discrete AV file, with the specs. of your choice. Some problems with your code:
- checkboxes have a value property, they don't have a selection property;
- you add four checkboxes, but you assign them to the same variable, so the script sees just the last defined instance;
- why do you define the text labels for the checkboxes as arrays? This is not necessary.
- you probably want radiobuttons, not checkboxes -- is that so?
- the check whether strChoice is null is not needed because Checkbox (be it a checkbox or a radiobutton) always has a value;
