Xml file with xsl style sheet reference

I am trying to learn this from a book, I copied the code like
it shows, but the page on the server keeps coming back with an
error starting on line 54 involving the four "End If" quotes. I
have tried everything I can think of and can't get it to work. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
Here's the code:
<%@Language=VBScript%>

Dim nodes
dim mainNodes
dim mainnode
dim attr
dim root
Set domDoc = Server.CreateObject("MSXML.DOMDocument")

if not domDoc.load(afilename) then
Response.Write "Could not load the file " & aFilename
& "<br>"
Response.End
end if
%>
<html>
<head></head>
<body>

Response.Write "<table border='1'>"
Response.Write "<thead>"
For Each attr In node.Attributes

It's possible that the Troubleshooter doesn't work correctly unless IE is your default browser. You could test that possibility by having IE make itself the default and testing the Troubleshooter again.

In a web search I found these suggestions:
(1) Reset your Internet Explorer settings, according to http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie8-windows_7/cannot-view-xml-using-xsl-style-sheet/ccfe80c6-c0db-4594-a7e3-475f9eac0e85

Any luck?

    Hi Suraj,
    That option is not available in FTP mode..
    This option is applicable only for the File adapter. If you enter a value in this field when configuring the sender FTP adapter, it will have no effect.
    Yes, you're right !!
    Are you sure that the message is not getting picked in half-way
    Now, at this time, I can't see the XML data in the CC monitoring because the tool shows only the recent polling execute in the last 10 minutes. If the error recurs, I will check the payload of CC.
    How can I solve the problem with reading incomplete file (FTP mode)?
    ...Meanwhile I will try with Full cache refresh.
    Thanks
    Daniele

  • Transfer 100M XML file with XSL

    Hi,
    I am trying to transfer 100M XML file with XSL. Input.xml is the XML file, format.xsl is the XSL file. I type in the command line as:
    java org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process -IN input.xml -XSL format.xsl -OUT output.xml
    It got "out of memeory" error. My questions are:
    1. Is it possible to transfer such large XML file with XSLT?
    2. The XSL processor used SAX or DOM to parse XML file?
    3. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.
    James

    maybe?
    java -Xmx200m org.apache.xalan.xslt.Process -IN input.xml -XSL format.xsl -OUT output.xml

    What is your machine configuration ?
    The above 2 suggestions would help, but it does depend on how your software is written.

  • Combine several XML files with same structure

    Hello,
    I have several XML files with the same structure and I want to combine them and create a new XML file to be bale to compare that information easily. It does not look very difficult but as I am very new in this I am not bale to get it
    The structure of my actual files would be something simlar to:
    Root->...-> Name->Address, Telephone
    And what I would like to have si something like
    Root->.... ->Address-> Name 1,Name 2....
    Root -> ...->Telephone-> Name 1, Name 2....
    Does anyone know how to do this.
    Thanks

    You could write a XSL transformation file that does this and transform your input file via
         * Transform XML file with a style sheet.
         * <p><b>Example:</b><p>
    <table align="center" bgcolor="#E0E0E0" border=1 cellpadding="10" cellspacing="0"><tr><td><pre style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0">
    XMLTransformer t = new XMLTransformer();

    String xmlFile = "C:/Project/source.xml";
    String styleSheet = "C:/Project/stylesheet.xsl";
    t.transform(xmlFile, styleSheet, fos);
    </pre></td></tr></table>
         * @param xmlfile The XML file to transform.
         * @param style Stylesheet to use for transformation.
         * @param outputStream OutputStream to write the transformed result to.

  • How do you display xml file with xlst sheet in jsp

    I have an xml file with accompanying xslt file (and several images that are used in a single directory. If I doubleclick on the xml file, it displays perfectly in my browser - Formatting, images and all!
              The 100 dollar question - How do I duplicate this behavior in a JSP page in WebLogic 8.1 using the code in the xml and the accompanying xslt (formatting) file? I tried simple embedding the xml code in the jsp, but that didn't seem to work. What is the secret?
              Okay, I need to add a bit more information here. I understand that it is really easy to just redirect to the XML file. The issue is really security. I want the XML to be inside a jsp that will only allow validated users to view it.
              Another way to look at the problem would be, can I add a jsp security tag to the xml file? Or how to I add the xml code inside a jsp and keep the path references to the xslt and graphics.
              Hope the added information helps
              Thanks,

  • Generate report from database using .xsl style sheet

    I am trying to view test result histories for specific uut serial numbers.
    We are logging all test data to the default access database template that was provided with Teststand.
    Is there a method of generating reports from the database that match the format of those generated at runtime?
    I was surprised to find that the default access database did not contain any gui or pre-made reports matching the xsl style sheets chosen in the report options dialog.
    My database skills are weak, I am able to browse the raw data and I see the relationships between some of the tables, but the prospect of recreating one of the xml report formats in access seems daunting. Am I missing something? what is the best way to print a uut report from test data stored in access?

    Hello msears,
    Thank you for posting on the NI Discussion Forums.  Unfortunately there are no tools available in TestStand for directly converting an Access database to a formatted .xsl report.  It is possible to have a step in a sequence that reads the information from the database, and create the .xsl report as if it had been generated at sequence run-time, by writing those values directly to Locals.ResultList.  Admittedly, this would require some knowledge of Microsoft Access, and the ability to write a program that will extract information from the database, in order to include it as a step in the sequence.
    Is there anything stopping you from creating a formatted .xsl report when the sequence is run (instead of trying to create it from previous data stored in an Access database)?

  • How Can I dispaly XML file with CSS?

    hi,all
    There is maybe a simple way to dispaly a XML file with a CSS file in program.But I don't know.Who can tell me?
    Thank you very much!

    Hi,
    XML documents don't have the link or style elements that are used in HTML to connect style information to particular documents. Instead, the W3C has defined a processing instruction that provides that information, based on the model of the HTML link element. To connect a CSS style sheet to your XML document so that the browser can find it, use a processing instruction like
    <?xml-stylesheet type="text/css" href="URI"?>
    where URI is the address of the style sheet. We'll use a style sheet called display1.css for our first test document. The processing instruction can go right after the XML declaration.
    <?xml version="1.0" ?>
    <?xml-stylesheet type="text/css" href="display1.css"?>
    <test>
    Hope this may help you.

  • Adding report header lines using expand.xsl style sheet

    Hello
    I would like to add a few header lines (appears only at the first page of the report) into my XML report that is based on expand.xsl style sheet.
    Since I am not familiar with XML, is there any example or a modified (ready to run) expand.xsl style sheet that implements it?
    Thank you
    Zvika

    Hey Zvika,
    Chek out this website:  http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/4759
    NI doesn't support any changes in the xsl however so if you change it you are on your own.  You can look to this website for help with that: http://www.w3.org/XML/

    David,
    you can modify the Logo in the File DefaultHeader.xml. You can find it under the Web/Themens,
    in the Sample Project as Jeremy said.
    Please include this in your project as Jeremy described.
