Xml files not available for import

Is there a way to open xml files from fcp 7 in fcp x without purchasing the 3rd party ap 7 to x? I read that some of the past updates were supposed to resolve this issue but it has yet to work for me. I am runnin fcp x 10.0.7 on OS X 10.7.5. The files that I saved to my desktop are not selectable in the import xml option in fcp x. Please help!!

Is there a way to open xml files from fcp 7 in fcp x without purchasing the 3rd party ap 7 to x?
No. FCPX uses a quite different XML structure. You need 7toX.

    Any Ideas?

    Hi,
    please explicitly "make" the project. One reason for this problem could be that the model.cpx isn't created properly. Select the model project and compile the complete project before deploying it. Sometimes it helps to clear the "class" directory of the project on teh file system before re-compiling

    What can i do?
    Thanks, steve

    Adding the dependency in the ViewController fixed this for me.
    I'm using two AppModules in the controller and the second one wasn't being picked up.
    I was able to fix this by:
    Go to the Project Properties, select Dependencies, edit the Dependent Projects and Archives, find the model that's failing and add a tick in the Build Output box.
    The model should now be picked up in the ViewController's DataBindings.cpx source file, though I did have to restart JDev for this to be picked up.

    I found this on Metalink...
    JBO-26001: NoXMLFileException
    Cause: Could not open the named XML file for read.
    The following is from Note 137429.1. Hope this helps.
    Raja.
    JBO-26001: NoXMLFileException
    Cause: Could not open the named XML file for read.
    Action: 1. Make sure that the file is present. In particular, if the file is to be found in a zip/jar file, make sure that the Zip/JAR file is included in the CLASSPATH.
    2. This error is also reported if the name of the XML file does not match the object Name specified in the XML file. If the file system support case insensitive file names (e.g., Windows NT), make sure that the file name matches the object Name in the XML file in case-sensitive fashion.
    3. For a .JPX file, this error is reported if the JPX file is missing the JboProject XML tag. Check the JPX file to make sure that the valid tag is in there.
    4. One XML file may be extending another XML file (specified by the Extends element in this XML file). This error is reported if the base XML file is not found.
    5. When loading the XML file for a package (JboPackage tag), this error is reported if some unexpected error occurs while loading a containee.
    In all of the above cases, a more descriptive message may be printed on Diagnostic. If you are not seeing Diagnostic messages, you can run your application with Diagnostic turned on, as in "java -Djbo.debugoutput=console ...", to see Diagnostic messages.

    Naidu,
    Please try to repeat JavaBean model import when running IDE in console mode (correspondign short-cut should be available in Windows Start menu, otherwise just copy original short-cut, edit it and change in command string "javaw" to java).
    Post here what is shown on console during import.

  • Invalid class: Javabean not available for import

    hi all,
    I have developed a very simple javabean in my WDJ DC in folder src/packages like this:
    package test.beans;
    public class TreeBean {
         private String name;
          * @return
         public String getName() {
              return name;
          * @param string
         public void setName(String string) {
              name = string;
    however when I try to import that into a model in NWDS 7.0.11, I get Invalid class: javabean not available for import.
    When I try to do the same in NWDS7.1SP5 it succeeds.
    What's wrong?
    Thanks for your help

    I must have had an old or defective QuickTime player on my editing system when I loaded Adobe CS4. I do not have a QuickTime option for import. I updated the QuickTime Player and it is now working properly. How do I get Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 to now recognize my MotionLoops MOV files? Hopefully without reloading CS4!

    Bill, that's strange indeed. Can you successfully play the MotionLoops files directly in the QuickTime player?
    Cheers
    Eddie

  • Error JBO-26001: XML File not found for the Container FinancingBillUI.cpx

    error occuring when executing a swing application build from many project's
    project 1 : application with login dialog
    project 2 : bc4j
    project 3 : user interface
    All source file compile sucessfully
    What the problem ?

    Michel:
    Could you post the complete stack trace? From the Subject line, it sounds like your app is not able to locate an XML file (which could mean a problem in CLASSPATH), but a stack trace will help. In fact, turn on diagnostics and post the diag output around the error. Here is an instruction on how to turn on diagnostic:
    1. Select the project.
    2. Do right mouse click and select "Project Settings..."
    3. On the Settings dialog, select Configurations/Runner.
    4. In the righthand side pane, you should see a textbox for "Java
    Options". Please add the following JVM switch:
    -Djbo.debugoutput=console
    Then, rerun. The run command should include
    -Djbo.debugoutput=console as in
    "D:\JDev9i\jdk\bin\javaw.exe" -Djbo.debugoutput=console -classpath ...
    You should now see a lot more output on the IDE's message window.
    Thanks.

  • CS2 Premium files not available for end-of-life download?

    I am reconfiguring my old Mac and reinstalled my Adobe CS2 Premium package from the original discs. It failed activation. I searched and found http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.htm l . I followed the English link, and logged in.
    The install PDF linked from that page says CS2 Premium has 7 files to download:
    CS_2.0_UE_Ret_D1.dmg.bin
    CS_2.0_UE_Ret_D2.dmg.bin
    CS_2.0_UE_Ret_D3.dmg.bin
    CS_2.0_UE_Ret_D4.dmg.bin*
    CS_2.0_UE_Extras_1.dmg.bin
    CS_2.0_UE_Extras_2.dmg.bin*
    CDo_TT_Mac.dmg.bin
    However, the download page has only the following listed under CS2, and there is no heading for CS2 Premium.
    CS2_install_Mac.pdf
    CS_20_IE_NonRet_D1.dmg.bin
    CS_20_IE_NonRet_D2.dmg.bin
    CS_20_IE_NonRet_D3.dmg.bin
    VCS2.dmg
    CS_2.0_IE_Extras_1.dmg.bin
    None of these match the files listed in CS2_install_Mac.pdf.
    Can anyone help me find the CS2 Premium files?
    edit: found a partially related discussion at http://forums.adobe.com/message/4919014#4919014%234919014?sdid=KCHDS

    Hi Jan:
    Today I searched in the SAP Service Marketplace and I got the following result:
    Search Results 1 - 1 of total 1
    000001      SAPJTECHF22_0-10003468.SCA   SP22 for SAP TECH S 7.00 OFFLINE
    Support Package SAP TECH S 7.00 OFFLINE # OS independent
    Maybe your problem has been solved. I recommend you to re-calculate these objects in MOPZ again.
    Kind Regards, Bob

  • Files not available for editing after closing them

    User will close a file, but not In Design itself. No matter how long he waits, he cannot then re-open and edit or re-name that file until he reboots his computer. This happens regardless of whether the file is local or network based. It's also not file-specific, it happens no matter what file he works on. A couple of Dreamweaver users have complained about this too. The In Design user is on CS6 (CC) and the DW users are on CS5. All users on Windows 7 Professional (x64) and x64 version of their respective CS suite. Other than trashing the prefs, any other suggestions? Any help is appreciated.

    I can only toss out something Peter has mentioned from time to time, could be off base.

  • "Preview for Files Not Available" & "Failed to Find a Place for the Imported File"??

    When I export RAW images into LR, some say "Preview for Files Not Available".  Also, it says "Failed to Find a Place for the Imported File".  Why?  What can I do to resolve this

    Hi,
    Tried with this but still the same issue..
    Stop the application services, recompile the JSP files manually, and start the application services. Check the login page then.
    Note: 435550.1 - R12 Login issue on target after cloning , fresh install or upgrade

    Any other area to look into?
    Thanks for your time!
