Xml incorrectly passing validation

Question

Hi,
I have some xml that is incorrectly passing a schema validation. In particular, it is when a certain field has a length greater than the maxLength specified in the xsd. In my example below it is column G (colg) that is passing the validation when it shouldn't. I have run through xmlspy and everything looks fine. Strange thing is when I get rid of columns coli-colo from xsd etc it gives me the correct error (that colg exceeds maxLength of 3). Anything obvious or any suggestions? thanks
