    You can set a port for an instance using a script from
    SQL*Plus:
    SQL> start ?/rdbms/admin/catxdbdbca.sql
    You'll be prompted for the port values.
    Regarding the listener issue:
    - check the init.ora parameter "dispatchers":
    It should at least contain
    "(PROTOCOL=TCP)(service=<ORACLE_SID>XDB)"
    in your case
    "(PROTOCOL=TCP)(service=kbetXDB)"
    - the ports for FTP and HTTP are not configured in
    the "listener.ora".
    - Check trace files. Perhaps there is a problem with
    the server processes when you attempt to open a
    connection

    Hi Yatan,
    The definition of elements aaa to ddd does not seem to have any terminatedBy attribute. It could be issue with this forum editor but ensure that you have terminatedBy set for each element in the schema.
    Also ensure that your .CSV file contains appropriate no. of commas irrespective of the null data between them. e.g. *1234, India,,Nee* (note the additional comma).

  • How to send IDOC XML to ftp or other servers using ABAP

    Hi,,,,,,EXPERTS
    I m able to generate IDocs in XML format,
    using the XML port definition in SAP. The XML file is generated in the application server, in the physical directory specified in the port definition.
    The application server in on Windows operating system.
    Now i need the files to be generated on another machine whose ip address and location is known, insted of being generated on the application server.
    Pls can anyone help me in this.
    waiting with lots of hope...dear frnd pls give me a step by step process to get this...
    thx,
    ram.

    Hi Mahesh,
    Thanks for your reply.
    My requirement is bit different. i have to send Open PR data for diffrent materials. In a 3rd party application user will search for few materials which will generate a report that will show the PR related data for those material.
    That means for few selected materials there will be few PR's which may be open, i have to show those in my report.
    Eg: material A, B. are in PR 00001 & material B, C in PR 00002.
    After selecting materials A to C report will show
    Material                 PR No                   Item No                Quantity
    A                           00001                    10                             1
    B                           00001                     20                            3
    B                           00002                     10                            3
    C                           00002                      10                           1
    Same thing i have to do for open PO & open Sales order also.
    Can u please help me to provide the solution how can i proceed for it. U have given the Message type & a bapi how it will help in my issue?
    I got a suggesion from someone that extend message type matmas for PR, PO, SD related data & send the idoc. but i am confused how to pass that much data ina single IDOC.
    Regards,
    Nik

  • SAP ECC Interface w/ IDOC-XML using TCP/IP, HTTP, or FTP to 3rd-Party Syst.

    I am trying to understand if the following interface options can occur (without the use of SAP PI or any other middleware):
    Option 1A: Can I process an SAP ECC outbound IDoc in XML using TCP/IP to a non-SAP 3rd party system?  Can you please explain the reason for why I can or can NOT do this.  If possible, please provide supporting documentation on how-to do this?
    Option 1B: Can I process an SAP ECC inbound XML-IDOC from a non-SAP calling system that used TCP/IP?  Can you please explain the reason for why I can or can NOT do this. If possible, please provide supporting documentation on how-to do this?
    Option 2A: Can I process an SAP ECC outbound IDOC in XML using HTTP to a non-SAP 3rd-party system?  Can you please explain the reason for why I can or can NOT do this. If possible, please provide supporting documentation on how-to do this?

    Hello Kirk  ,
    The answers for your question are:
    Option 1A: Yes you can .you can use TCP/IP but you must have a middleware component for that such as BC/JCO .
    Please see the link : [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/EN/09/c88442a07b0e53e10000000a155106/frameset.htm]
    Option 1B: See the link above.
    Option 2A: You can use ABAP code :
    [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/EN/e5/4d3514c11411d4ad310000e83539c3/frameset.htm]
    Option 2B: [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/EN/90/4f3c2ec3c511d6b2b400508b6b8a93/frameset.htm]
    Option 3A: Only with ABAP code :[Reg: FTP Connection;
    Option 3B: See the link of Option 3A.

  • Conversion of purchasing idoc to xml and sending with FTP to supplier

    Hello,
    I have a question about something i am not very familar with. And i could not find the answer in this forum.
    We have a supplier who wants to receive our orders by EDI.
    The plan is to convert the IDOC to XML and to send this XML by FTP to our supplier.
    Could anyone give me some hints to achieve this.
    usefull help will be rewarded.

    Hi,
    1. Create XML port in WE21.
    2. Configer the partner profile in WE20 for required message type.
    3. Access the file by using transaction AL11.

  • Wrong port in FTP receiver adapter - no errors in message monitoring?

    Hello all
    We're on XI 3.0 SP16 and have created / configured a HTTP XML -> XI -> FTP Server scenario. In the receiver comm. channel (ftp) we had specified a wrong port number and always wondered, why we never got errors in message monitoring. Everything seemed to be processed correctly... but no file arrived on the FTP server (receiver) side!
    After correcting the wrong FTP port number in the receiver FTP comm. channel everything went fine.
    We now encountered a similar problem with a RFC receiver adapter. We're using it in another scenario HTTP XML -> XI -> RFC to SAP R/3 (4.7).
    For some reason it died (red status in adapter monitor) and it was no more possible to do RFC calls from XI to SAP R/3 (normal RFC adapter, NO proxies).
    In XI message monitor everything seemed to be ok but no message arrived till SAP R/3. Nothing in any queue...
    After deactivating and reactivation the RFC receiver comm. channel it worked again BUT ALL PREVIOUSLY SENT messages seem to be lost.
    Is it really the way it works? Does XI integration engine at runtime NOT catch whether or not a RFC or FTP receiver adapter died, thus is not able to tell somewhere in message monitor that a message could not be delivered at all?
    I'm really confused here but hopefully I simply don't understand some easy principles to take into account...
    Our SAP R/3 is on rel. 4.70 with Web AS 6.20. The XI 3.0 plugin is not installed. Do we need to go with server proxies there and use QOS = best effort?!?
    Thanks for some suggestions.
    Best regards,
    Renaud

    Hi Michal
    Thanks... works great for normal XML based messages!
    Now, what if I wanted to pass binary files from one ftp server via BPM to another ftp server in order to enable the transport acknowledgment?
    The files polled from ftp server using the ftp sender adapter are all in binary format (ARJ). No xml data in there. How should the message format look like in BPM for the receiving step? Or: how to make sure not to loose the binary content when passing through BPMs?
    I need this sort of scenario because of the tansport acknowledgment and because I need to have some sort of message splitting (send the binary file over to a second ftp server and additionally send some kind of info message to SAP R/3 regarding thin binary file).
    BTW: in the MessagingSystem/monitor/monitor.jsp I do not see sender / receiver information. Is this normal? It's quite of a bad thing to look inside each message in order to find out what message I'm having in front of me...
    Thanks a lot for your support and patience!
    Kind regards,
    Renaud

  • Using XML to create files through API

    Hi.
    I created a new custom type - a subclass of "Document", with a few private attributes.
    I wrote a small XML file that creates an instance of that type.
    I have no problem using that XML with FTP or with the web interface - it parses the XML automatically and creates my custom file.
    However, when I try to use the java API to do the same, it just copies the XML file into IFS, but doesn't parse it or creates the custom file that is defined in it.
    I am using the IFSFileSystem.createDocument method, with parsing set to true, and "null" for the callback parameter.
    Of course, the XML parser is registered (as I said, it works with FTP and web interface).
    Please help.
    Thanks, Edo.

    Sure .. you can use XML as the data source. If you have DW8,
    you can even
    do it right in the Dreamweaver Interface.

  • Scenario: SOAP message with attached .zip file to FTP ?

    Hi all,
    I've searched SDN etc but got no good hints to my problem.
    My scenario is tht we are receiving an XML message via SOAP adapter and this is a MIME multipart message so it carries also a attached zip-file.
    The XML and the attached zip-file should then be saved over FTP.
    It enters IS correctly and I can see that I have the attachment and it goes to AE. I can see payload and attachment in the statusreport on receiver cc.
    The FTP adapter saves the payload XML correctly but the attachment is not saved anywhere.
    I have not configured any modules, BIC etc in the FTP adapter and I need some input on how to set this up tp put both files on FTP server.
    In the future the FILE adapter will be used and then I wounder if I will get the same problem there?

    I dont think there is a direct way of doing this. I can suggest you a method. In the directory receiver determination use 2 receivers with no condition. You message will get split in to two now. Create the interface determinations and receiver agreements. Complete one of them normally. It will sav the xml t FTP. For the other one, in the adapter use the payloadswapbean. It will swap the attachement to payload. THis one would save your zip on the ftp server.
    Hope its clear..!!

  • FTP Adapter configuration

    Dear all,
    I'm going to use FTP adpater to download and upload file on my FTP server.
    bpeltechadp.pdf document shows me that I must edit file Oracle_
    Home\integration\orabpel\system\appserver\oc4j\j2ee\home\applica
    tion-deployments\default\FtpAdapter\oc4j-ra.xml for FTP connection.
    But I could not find that path on my PC, It has OraBPELPM directory (version 10.1.2.0.2) only.
    I seem to have to install something on my computer, don't I?
    Thank a lot for your help.
    An Le

    Hello An Le,
    Have you installed the SOA server on your system or some other machine?
    This path will be available on the machine on which your SOA server ins installed.
    Replace Oracle_Home with the path of your Oracle_Home.
    Thanks

  • Doing FTP using a Dynamic Port

    Hi,
    I am having an odx with a Receive Shape, expression and Send shape.
    The send shape is connected to a dynamic port:
    There is a message var called ShowPartMessage.
    There is no transformation. This message needs to be received and sent via FTP.
    In the expression shape i have something like:
    SendPortName(Microsoft.XLANGs.BaseTypes.TransportType) = "FTP";
    SendPortName(Microsoft.XLANGs.BaseTypes.Address)= @"FTP://99.99.x.xxx/fold1/ftp/%MessageID%.xml";
    ShowPartMessage(FTP.UserName)= "user";
    ShowPartMessage(FTP.Password)= "pass";
    I get an error message for the last 2 lines saying "message construction must be done
    in a construct block".
    Do i need a construct block just to assign the username and password?
    i based my soln  on the following link here:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa560663.aspx
    Please assist
    regards,

    The difference between static and dynamic ports is only the Message Assignment shape, which is mandatory in a dynamic port to specify the FTP port details.
    Your message assignment shape should have the code like below:
    Msg_DynamicSend(FTP.CommandLogFileName) = "D:\\BiztalkLogs\\FTPLog\\DynamicFTPLog.txt";
    Msg_DynamicSend(FTP.UserName) = "FTPUSER";
    Msg_DynamicSend(FTP.Password) = "Pass1234";
    Msg_DynamicSend(FTP.SpoolingFolder) = "/IN/";
    Msg_DynamicSend(FTP.RepresentationType) = "ASCII";
    DynSendPort(Microsoft.XLANGs.BaseTypes.Address)= "ftp://inhydeshrilata";
    DynSendPort(Microsoft.XLANGs.BaseTypes.TransportType) = "FTP";
    Msg_DynamicSend is the message name set for send port and DynSendPort
    is the port name for dynamic send port.

  • ORA-24247: network access denied by access control list (ACL) using FTP

    What used to work on our 10g server now doesn't work on 11g. We recently migrated to a new server and this FTP download process is the only thing that is giving me problems.
    I have tried using the IP Address and Domain name, opened up the ports 10 to 80 (just in case) and even tried FTPing to a local FTP site and cannot seem to get past the ORA-24247 error. At this point I am not sure what else to try. The FTP process worked great in 10g...

    commit;
    end;
    Edited by: tfrawley on Jan 20, 2011 10:23 AM

    So, I have contacted support to fix my inability to login to Oracle Support. In the meantime I'll just run through this problem one more time:
    I executed the following:
    begin
    dbms_network_acl_admin.create_acl (
    acl => 'cwtoto_acl_file.xml',
    description => 'FTP Access',
    principal => 'CWT_OPERATOR',
    is_grant => TRUE,
    privilege => 'connect',
    start_date => null,
    end_date => null
    dbms_network_acl_admin.assign_acl (
    acl => 'cwtoto_acl_file.xml',
    host => 'ftp.rmpc.org',
    lower_port => 1,
    upper_port => 1000
    commit;
    end;
    This should give me an ACL xml file and permission for CWT_OPERATOR to connect to ftp.rmpc.org on ports 1 through 1000.
    I can look and see if the creation was successful: SELECT host, lower_port, upper_port, acl FROM dba_network_acls t ;
         HOST     LOWER_PORT     UPPER_PORT     ACL
    1     ftp.rmpc.org     1     1000     /sys/acls/cwtoto_acl_file.xml
    Looks good right?
    So I test it using the following:
    DECLARE
    l_conn UTL_TCP.connection;
    BEGIN
    l_conn := ftp.login('ftp.rmpc.org','21','[email protected]','anonymous');
    ftp.logout( l_conn);
    END;
    And get the following errors:
