Xml To Java class generation

Hi ,
I want to get the java source file from my xml file dynamically ..Will any body guide me for that and provide the codes ..

Hello,
Are you looking to programmatically run something like the JAXB schema to Java compiler? If so you can leverage the main method on the following class:
com.sun.tools.xjc.XJCFacade
This of course assumes that you have an XML schema for your XML. If not you would need to find a way to dynamically create an XML schema from your XML document.

    Jinyu,
    I guess the next release will need to be waited for as I have
    not been able to get you to respond to my questions.
    In the meantime, I'll have to use Sun's JAXB as I know it will
    generate the classes I want.

    need to move forward.

  • Is there any way to prevent web.xml from any change like java class?

    hi all,
    Is there any way to prevent web.xml from any change after making EAR(WAR)?
    One can easily make a change in web.xml and redeploy the application to get the result. Now we want to restrict the web.xml as java class for any change after making EAR(or WAR).
    Could some one help me to do this?
    thanks,

    hi,
    Not at development level. We want it after deploying the application on server .
    We want to create it (web.xml) at tomcat startup (or in any other web/app server ) before loading any context.
    Is there any way to run a simple java class(not servlet) on tomcat startup(before initializing the contexts)?

  • JAVA Object to XML to JAVA to XML

    I have to achieve below in java:-
    -Create input XMLs from Java class (that resides in a jar).
    -Take input from user then store that data to Java object and submit for processing.
    -After processing print response java object again in XML.
    What is the best API to achieve this. Will be helpful if any example is available.

    Thanks for the Reply =)
    I have a Java Object that have some fileds like arraylist<Class> I want to take care of these fields as well.
    If that arrayList<Class> have another fields that can be normal fileds or arraylist of another class, need to take care of all fields during XML generation
    Example:-
    Root Class have below fields
    private int ArCt;
    private ArrayList<ClassChild1> Ar;
    Setters
    Getters
    ClassChild1.class
    private int PlnCd;
    private int cArCt;
    private ArrayList cAr<ClassChild2> cAr;
    ClassChild2.class
    private String PlNm
    XML Needed - Example from above object
    <root>
    <ArCt>1</ArCt>
    <Ar>
    <ClassChild1>
    <PlnCd>S</PlnCd>
    <cArCt>2</<cArCt>
    <cAr>
    <ClassChild2>
    <PlNm>Plan1</PlNm>
    </ClassChild2>
    <ClassChild2>
    <PlNm>Plan2</PlNm>
    </ClassChild2>
    </cAr>
    </ClassChild1>

  • Converting XML to Java Objects...possible?

    Hi, Am a newbie to JAXB. As far as I read, JAXB has facility to convert "XSD" (not XML) to Java "classes" (not objects). This can be done using xjc compiler. Can XML files (i.e. ones with data) be converted to Java objects (retaining the data from XML files)? If yes, please throw some light on how it can be done. If no, then is there some java technology to do such a thing?
    Thanks.

  • Generation of java classes from XML Schema.

    Hi All,
    I am working with JWSDP-2.0 but got stucked.:
    To generate Java classes from an XML Schema with the JAXB ,I need to have following jar file in thils location with this JWSDP-2.0
    <JWSDP>/jaxb/lib/jaxb-api.jar
    <JWSDP>/jaxb/lib/jaxb-impl.jar
    <JWSDP>/jaxb/lib/jaxb-libs.jar
    <JWSDP>/jaxb/lib/jaxb-xjc.jar
    <JWSDP>/jwsdp-shared/lib/namespace.jar
    <JWSDP>/jwsdp-shared/lib/jax-qname.jar
    <JWSDP>/jwsdp-shared/lib/relaxngDatatype.jar
    And here I m not finding as jaxb-libs.jar,namespace.jar and jax-qname.jar on respective location.
    If I m putting these left jar file from another place it is not generating all the classes as at least in number it should be 45 but it is generating merely 5 classes.
    Can any one help me regarding this.
    Regards.
    Shelly.

    These JAXB JAR files are for JAXB 1.0.
    For JAXB 2.0 the following JAR files are required.
    C:\Sun\jwsdp-2.0\jaxb\lib\jaxb-api.jar
    C:\Sun\jwsdp-2.0\jaxb\lib\jaxb-impl.jar
    C:\Sun\jwsdp-2.0\jaxb\lib\jaxb-xjc.jar

  • Generation of custom syncbo java classes does not work.

    Hello
    we created some new syncbo's for MAM 3.0 in the middleware and download it's correspond meRepMeta.xml.
    Now i will generate in the NetWeaver Developer Studio the manager and syncbo classes for our new custom syncbo's. I had create a new SmartSync-Project and deliver the meRepMeta.xml file, edit the package and some other things and start the project creation process. But after this, i have only an simple MI project with web.xml, meRepMeta.xml and so on, but no generated, custom syncbo's. In the documentation i couldn't find a detailed description for the generation of syncbo java classes.
    Can anybody help me, what i do wrong.
    Tanks a lot.
    Greetings
    Andreas

    Hi Kai,
    Just note these points..
    1)Smart Sync MI Applications (JSP Runtime) generated using SP 09v of Developer Studio is MCD specific.It is generating MCD specific files.This architecture makes the applications too complex during migration.
    2)In SP 09v applications, the developers don't have to code in Smart Sync API level as most of the codes are generated by default.
    3)Applications in SP 09v of Developer Studio is following the exact MVC Architecture(We can see the seperation of models, views and controllers here).
    4)Corresponding to the mapped fields (in SyncBo level), in the BO Wrapper classes we can see implementations of corresponding getter() and setter(..) methods.The names of this methods are totally dependent upon the names of fields mapped.So if there is change in the names of fields , in the case of already generated projects , we have to explicitly rename the getter() and setter(..) methods appropriately inorder to make the changes to take effect.
    5)For adding new JSP pages, we have to add references in many files(*.view). (we have to explicitly create the corresponding controller class file , map the relationship between the controller and the corresponding JSP file).
    refer this blog also..
    /people/kishor.gopinathan/blog/2006/05/29/smart-sync-application-development-using-sp-09v-of-developer-studio
    <<
    have to write the acces classes, mentioned in the MDK, manually for every new SyncBO I want to use?
    >>
         For that , we can write a generic method in such a way that , we only have to pass the syncbo name as the parameter for that method, so that it would retrieve the records corresponding to the syncbo given.
       Since the getter nd setter method names are closely related to the names of the mapped fields, this would create problems when we change the names of fields used in the table parameter or import parameter of the BAPI Wrapper used for syncbo creation.
    So using SP 11 , we can create generic applications, which can be migrated using the higher versions of NWD Studio. I think , SAP might not change this infrastructure anymore..

  • Generate XML Schema from Java classes?

    Hi,
    Considering an XML Mapping, i would like to generate a default XML Schema from my Java class.
    Is there a tool in toplink (10.1.3) to do that or does anyone have an easy way to generate this XML schema?
    Thanks,
    Ludovic

    Hi Ludovic,
    We don't have support for schema generation from Java classes in TopLink 10.1.3. It's required for JAXB 2.0 so it will be available in a future release.

    Sorry Charlie, but this isn't a "mail me the codez" forum. Either use Google, or try to share your problem and their solutions in the forum. Besides, a little Googling will find you a solution.

  • How to represent XML inline tags in a Java class

    Dear all,
    I am currently dealing with the issue of how to transform an XML document into a Java representation. As far as the strucural elements are concerned, I'd represent them each one of them as a Java class. However, the XML structure also allows for inline tags, i.e. elements which specify formatting information for the text. I am looking for good ideas for how to best represent these in my Java class(es).
    Let's use an example. Suppose I have something like this:
    <root>
       <structure>A piece of text</structure>
       <moreStructure>A piece of <b>bold</b> text</moreStructure>
       <finalStructure>A piece of <inlineTag att="value"> more text!</inlineTag>   </finalStructure>
    </root>I this case I would build four classes for the strucural elements. But how do I represent <b> and <inlineTag>? In my XML documents I have several such inline tags, each of which may also have a bunch of attributes. I am sure this has been solved cleverly before. Any help greatly appreciated.
    Best regards,
    N.

    The XML term for "containing tags and text" is "mixed content". And XML designers generally don't care much for mixed content. You're finding out one of the reasons for that right now. They aren't elegant or clever, just inconvenient.
    However sometimes you have to deal with ugly structures. This is one of them. I would represent mixed content as a list, just as you already thought of. The elements in this list would be either text or elements. So in this example:<moreStructure>A piece of <b>bold</b> text</moreStructure>you would have three entries:
    1. Text "A piece of "
    2. A <b> element
    3. Text " text"
    And when retrieving from that list you would have to use "instanceof" to see if you had a String or an element of some kind.
    And if "standalone tags" versus "paired tags" is a complication, then you're looking at it wrong. XML doesn't care much about tags. Tags only exist to delimit an element, and you should be looking at elements.
    I'm guessing at your non-standard terminology here: a "standalone tag" is an empty element like
    , right? And "paired tags" means a non-empty element like <this>that</this>? They're all elements. The first is a "br" element and the second is a "this" element.

  • Using Custom Java Class - WorkflowRegistry.xml

    I am using a custom java class in workflow. While executing I am getting errot -
    com.waveset.util.WavesetException: Class com.LdapGroupMod is not a WorkflowApplication
    It seems from documentation that I need to add this in workflowregistry.xml file. I added the same like given below -
    <WorkflowApplication name='Workflow Name'
    class='com.LdapGroupMod'>
    <Comments>Nothing Here</Comments>
    </WorkflowApplication>Even tried restaring the application server but I am still getting same error. Any idea what needs to be done here? or I am missing smething?

    Well the first thing would be to read the workflowRegistry.xml file. The header talks about internal and external applications and so on. The crucial part is that any application registered must implement the WorkflowApplication interface (which I guess your class dont do)
    I gave up. I am totally baffled by the documentation. I admit it.
    What I did was to create an Script action in an Activity where the script used Xpress to invoke my class. It seems to work.

  • Mapping java classes to XML files

    Hi Friends !!
    Please I need your help.
    Does somebody out there know any framework or API that helps me to map Java classes to XML files.
    Something like:
    public class Test {
        public int x;
        public int y;
        public int sum(){}
    }to something like:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <class>
    <className>Test</className>
    bla
    bla
    bla
    </class>
    Any tips?
    Thanks in advance
    Cleverson

    JAXB will create classes from an XML schema, SAX is a parser library and JAXP is a library of XML a bunch of XML tools.
    I don't care for JAXB too much. I would skip it and go right to the JAX-RPC spec (WebServices).

  • Ignore some fields while saving a Java class into XML

    Hi!
    I've seen in this forum that there is an easy way of saving Java classes to XML files using Castor. I want to save some Java classes into XML, but not all the fields of the class. For example, I want to ignore all lists. Is there any easy way to do something like this:
    class Java2XML{

                        for all fields in object
                                  if field extends List, ignore
                                  else, include field in XML
    }Thanks in advance!

    You can add a managed bean by:
    - manually adding a definition in the faces config source tab.
    - creating a bean in the overview tab of the faces-config editor.
    So yes, you can edit the faces-config manually.
    I hope this answer your question,
