Xterm error on OEL 4 32bit runtime

I am trying to install Oracle 10b DB client in OEL 4 32 bit runtime.
While executing xhost + ipaddress on remote server I am getting this error under root or user:
error: Can't open display: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0.
On remote server xhost + 127.0.0.1 also gives the same error.
I am using SSH putty to connect and, on server the screensaver is getting iniitiated.
the hosts file has the localhost and 127.0.0.1, but still not working.
All other regular commands are working.
Any ideas what I am doing wrong.

I'm assuming you need to get the graphical Oracle installer to run, so it needs to be pointed to an X display. You mention Putty, so are you using Windows on the local machine (the one your keyboard and mouse are attached to)? Are you running an X server on the Windows machine? And you're going to install Oracle on a remote Linux machine, correct? Then you need to log into the remote Linux machine, and set the DISPLAY environment variable to point to the X server running on your Windows box.
Or are you trying to get the installer to display on the console of the Linux machine? Did you login at the graphical console as root? Then just open a terminal window, and type:
# xhost +You'll need to start the installer as the oracle user, so then you do:
# su - oracle
$ DISPLAY=:0
$ export DISPLAY
$ ./runInstaller

32bit Runtime Environment - install after initial oes11 inst

Hi,
I've got an oes11 Server that came "preinstalled". Someone else installed it. During the initial sles11/oes11 install they did not install the "32bit runtime environment" but now I would like to install it. So, yast2 - oes install config and try to add (check the box next to) the 32bit runtime environment. Yast2 accepts it and there is a green check mark next to it. I click accept and it goes straight to the linker / configuration of the oes services. It does not install anything , etc... I tried "installing" it then rebooting the machine, no luck. Everytime I install it and then go back into yast2, it doesn't seem to get installed... Is it not possible to install the 32bit runtime environment after the initial install?

Btw, when in yast2 and looking at patterns in the software manager, on the left hand side "32bit runtime environment" is unchecked but in the details (right window) several pacakges are shown to be installed but not all.... ?? Is my 32bit runtime environment installed or not? I get the impression the it is not "fully" installed. I got no error messages during the install and have since tried to install it without goind through the "OES Install and configuration" option and instead going directly through the Software Management Option. Same Problem, if it even is a problem?

i am working on xml to flatfile interface.when i am trying to test the scenario from ID - > Tools -> Test configuration option i am getting below error.
Receiver Determination <Not found>
Internal Error Http connection to ABAP runtime failed.
Error : 403 for bidden.
I have checked in Receiver determination its been configured properly.
Is it any basis settings problem ?

Hi,
The error is clearly showing there is cache error.
To resolve this..go to SXI_CACHE tcode and do a delta cache refresh or full cache refresh.
That will solve ur problem

Server Error in '/ecp' Application. Runtime Error

Is there any issue while trying to access OWA?
Please take your time to collect some events related to this issue from application logs.
Based on my experience, I saw the same errors after installing CU6 in other similar threads. In that case the scenario is that the OWA related files are not copied correctly. Themes folder "C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\ClientAccess\owa\prem\15.0.995.31\resources\themes"
doesn't exist. That issue solved by the following steps:
Stop all the Exchange related Services
Backup the
15.0.995.31 to a different directory
Copy the files and folders from 15.0.995.29 to 15.0.995.31
Start all the Exchange related services

Error while refreshing the XI runtime cache

Here is what happened.
After PI7.0 install with client 001, I did the BPM scenario and it worked. After the performing the client copy the BPM stopped working with the new client. I did the client copy per note 940309.
The file is getting picked up (set the processing mode to delete).
Getting the following error in SXMB_MONI.
"SXMB_MONI_BPE" doesn't show any info as the file has never made to BPM (I guess).

Can U check the RFC destination INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI.
Check the connection, it should give response code 500.
otherwise check whether U have given the correct URL
in the path prefix.
/dir/CacheRefresh
Check the User has proper authorization.

Are you generating the .NET stored procedure using VS 2003 or VS 2005? If you are using VS 2003 then you should have .NET framework v1.1 (or v2.0) installed in your database server. If it is VS 2005, then you must have .NET framework v2.0.50727 installed in your database server?
Can you please check registry value of ".NETFramework" in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\KEY_<HOMENAME>\ODE where <HOMENAME> is the appropriate Oracle home in the database server.
