Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
If you can sign in to your BIS web account, you can resend your service books. Here are the instructions:
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB02830&slic...
Do that and your email accounts should return.
If you are using the same credentials on the device and on-line, then it is likely that you are just missing some key in the device interface...it's really easy to get wrong. But I tend to only use the web interface anyway...so much easier with a full keyboard!
Cheers!

  • Email disappearing from iPad when I download in iMac

My wife is having the problem that looks like the ISP's (GCI.net) email server is deleting email from my iPad.
With her iMac off, when she is traveling, she can download and read email on her iPad. All the email stays there, unless she intentionally deletes something.
BUT, when she get home from a trip and goes to check email using Apple's Mail on her iMac, which is set to "Remove from server ...," she can WATCH as the email disappears from her iPad -- I have watched this. This has been very frustrating, as I have tried everything I can think of to no avail. My old PowerMac and my older iPod Touch has no problem with GCI email. I have gobs of savedemail on the iPod with the same Mail settings on the PowerMac (I do plan to upgrade to an Intel Mac, this fall, btw).
Searching the web and here inthe Apple forums, I have so far not found anyone with this situation. It acts like the email content on the iPad is only what is on the GCI.net servers. When my iMac removes those, they disappear from the iPad. But, I seen no settings on the iMac or iPad that will fix this. I have tried everything I can think of.
Her Gmail account works fine on her iPad.
The iMac is set up with POP account. (As is my PMG5). The iPad was forced to set up a POP account (as a possible solution) for GCI email because the default IMAP is where we first discovered the issue of the server appearing to delete email from the iPad.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Some of the older 30-pin-to-USB cables have catches on the iPad end. The connector block on them extends further from the iPad than the ones without the catch; they are almost square. You have to squeeze the sides of the connector to disengage the catches.
I'm not sure what being in iTunes has to do with it, though.

I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me.  My messages were in folders for a lawsuit.  It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea.  We are talking thousands of pages!  I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried.  However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part.  THis is not just some little email issue. • Why do my emails disappear from the inbox of my iPad 2

The emails disappear from the inbox of my iPad 2? The only way I can retain them is to move them to the Trash box.

    Hi Venks,
I'm not sure if it's the same issue but have a look at the thread below:
    /discussions/board/message?board.id=communicators&thread.id=56357
My inbox had emptied and the sent/draft/outbox folders had disappeared from the mailbox.
    I hope this helps.

  • Emails disappear from iPhone with exchange

I have gmail set up with exchange and after a period of time the emails disappear from the iPhone, but remain on my computer and gmail account. I have changed the 'days to sync' to no limit, but no change. I have also changed the 'show email' setting to the max (200 messages) but nothing changes.
    Thanks

UPDATE - the emails have not reappeared! It must have taken a moment to re-sync

  • Emails Disappeared from Inbox

Have lost about a years of saved emails from my inbox....I DID NOT delete them.  One day they were there the next they are gone.  I have settings on account and phone set to 'never delete'. Comcast foreign operators are of no help and eventually 'hang up' on me.....Poor service...They say can't get them, too bad, so sad.....Now if I was the NSA I could get them!Any way to find them or some other tech number to bypass the robots on the 800 number???Can't afford to lose anymore important emails, so if cannot be resolved, may look elswhere for a provider.

Most often email disappears from Comcast's "Xfinity Connect" webmail Inbox because an email program (ex: Outlook, Mac Mail) or mobile device (smartphone, tablet) using the POP protocol downloads the mail and removes it from the server.
Check all mobile devices and email programs on all computers. The missing mail may be in the Inbox of one of these. If necessary, change the Comcast password for the affected userID to prevent mail from being removed. You can change your password in "My Account" (https://customer.xfinity.com/Secure/UserSettings/) under "Users & Preferences" / (username) / "Basic Settings" / Username / "Change password". Once you identify the offending device or program, change its settings to "Leave a copy on the server", and make sure that a "Delete after xxx days" or similar setting is not active.
The "Email Deletion Schedule" settings in Xfinity Connect do not protect messages from being removed by email programs or mobile devices.

  • Email messages disappearing from my Blackberry Tour

I currently have my BlackBerry Tour configured for three seperate email accounts. The first two are working just fine. I just noticed this this morning that for the third, messages that I have read appear to be disappearing from the device. I've checked in Options and it appears that I have plenty of available space (101680072 bytes free) unless I am misreading what that number represents.
For example, I've read and responded to probably 10 emails from this account today. The emails that I read early this morning no longer show in the inbox, however the sent item for the response that I sent still does. The only items that still appear in the inbox are items that have arrived in the last 2 - 3 hours, anything prior to that, including ALL emails that I have received since setting up the account a few weeks ago are gone. The only thing that is visible for those dates are my sent items.
I had seen another thread in which someone had stated that rebooting by removing the battery might correct the issue but I tried that and it did not. I've included my settings for the email account in question below. I don't use any type of third party sync application, what the heck is going on here and how do I fix it?
    General Options
    Display Time - Yes
    Display Name - Yes
    Display Order - Name, Subject
Display Message Header on - 2 lines
    Display Message Count - Unread
Display New Message Indicator - Yes
Hide Read Filed Messages - No
SMS and Email Inboxes - Theme Controlled
    Seperators - Stripes
    Actions
Make PIN messages Level 1 - Yes
    Auto More - Yes
    Confirm Delete - Yes
Confirm Mark Prior Opened - Yes
Auto Open Newest Message After Removing Device From Holster - After Sound or Vibration
    Keep Messages - Forever
    Email Settings
    Enable HTML Mail - Yes
    Confirm Delivery - No
    Confirm Read - No
    Send Read Receipts - No
    Email Reconciliation
    Delete on - Prompt
    Wireless Reconcile - Mailbox Wins
    On Conflicts - Mailbox wins

    Yea this is strange.
Some IMAP email servers will reconcile "read" messages, and perhaps mark them as read on your device IF they have been marked as read on the email server, but Outlook doens't normally do this. The reverse is also true, reading the mail on the device can mark the same message as read on the email server. And in some setups, deletes can be reconciled.
    But this sounds different.
The device memory on your BlackBerry should be ok, but let's look anyway, at Options > Status, what is your File Free?

  • All emails in yahoo somehow disappeared from view. Unaware, I made some change.

My yahoo email was normal until the left vertical page bar came into view. I moved it all the way to left hiding inbox outbox, Trash etc.
Trying to correct this, I inadvertently clicked something unknown
that hid all my emails from view. The emails are still there, I just can't figure out what to do to bring them back visibly to my email page. Computer shows that I made a change, but doesn't tell me what change I made.

Most likely the now missing mail files were not in the PCV archive in the first place (for whatever reason).
I do not use MozBackup, but I believe a user can (or has to) choose what items are to be included in the backup.
You may look at the MozBackup support site for anymore details.
    http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/support.php
Unless you still find those missing mail files in another backup I'm afraid they are gone.

  • Filed emails disappearing from folders as well as web? Why? How to fix?

This is the second time this has happened since upgrading to iso5.1. If I access a folder where I have saved emails, for a brief instant I can see the email, but then they vanish. the folders have emptied all the way back to march of this year, for the most part. it only happens when I access the folder, and does NOT affect the inbox, loke some have said. The emails are NOT in the deleted items, nor the archive folder of iCloud. Where are my mesages going? How to stop this??!! i have lost some really important stuff because of this glitch. Oh yeah, they also disappear from the Yahoo folders too....

  • Emails disappearing from my BB Z10!

I have email service through Cox Cable of Hampton Roads. Wireless provider is Verizon Wireless. I have a BB Z10 with OS ver. 10.0.9.422. I can receive and send email with no problems. The emails will disappear from the Hub a short while after opening up Outlook 2007 and downloading the emails to my PC.
Is there something I can do to keep my emails on the Z10? I have had this account for 20 years and would like to keep it. I had an iPhone since 2007, 4 of them to be exact and had no problems with my POP account. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello Digiman63,
    Welcome to the forums.
The reason this is happening is because once you check the email on your computer your are download the message off the mail server and storing them locally on the computer. The BlackBerry is going to reconcile back to the mail server and when it does this it sees that the messages have been remove therefore it removes them from the Hub. To correct this issue you would need to set your email client on your computer to leave copies of the messages on the mail server. The below article will help you do this.
How to leave or remove copies of email messages on the messaging server

  • 6000+ yahoo emails deleted from my itouch

i was deleting a yahoo email from my itouch, then i noticed that the screen blanked out. i got worried, so i checked my trash right away & there was nothing in there. i then went online to check my mails and all my inbox emails are also gone.
everyone knows that only 200 recent messages are the max that can be downloaded on the itouch. if they were deleted, then they should have shown up in the trash area, but no. and if they were completely deleted, only 200 should have been the only ones that were deleted, but no. why were my 6000+ messages deleted?
=i just upgraded to the new software 4.0 version last week of june.
=i've been using my itouch since 09/08 & so far haven't noticed unusual with using its mail app
=i have other email accts in it & no problem also
is there anyone here who has experienced this? any solution? could it be the new software? could it be a bug?

The problem is you need to delete from the server, not for the inbox only.
BlackBerry works pushing all the mail in your mail server to the device, so if you delete the mail in inbox, but the mail is in the server is going to your device.
If I help you with any inquire, thank you for click kudos in my post.
If your issue has been solved, please mark the post was solved.

  • How can I stop my emails disappearing from iphone/ipad once I open them on laptop? This is only happening on my 'other' email address which is through Crazydomains?

I can receive emails to my account (Ive managed to work out how to set them up) but once I then open the email on my laptop through outlook they disappear from my ipad and iphone.  Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance

    Hello mushysun,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
If you did not sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone before creating a new one, then you will need to sign back in with your previous Apple ID and then sign out.  If you do not remember your password and do not have access to the email account, then you can reset your password by using the security questions.
If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
    Have a great weekend,
    Alex H.

  • Emails Disappears from Device

    Hi,
Emails on my 8320 disappears from my device frequently without me deleting it on Outlook or on my device.
Sometimes it happens every few days while other times, it happens in a week or two.
While the emails still remain in Outlook, I would wish that the emails remain on my device until I manually delete it.
Further, the disappearance of my emails happens on a very inconsistent manner where occasionally 1-2 emails still remain after the rest disappears and they are usually those with attachments or are marked with high importance (!).
After each disappearance, I will check my file free status only to realize that my device is not running out of memory.
    Device: 8320, v4.5.0.55, BIS
    Outlook2007
    Thanks,

Is this a POP or an IMAP account? Are you accessing the same account (not just the same server) from more than one device?

  • How can I turn OFF my Yahoo email password from Firefox memory. since it was hacked last week.

Some time ago I let Firefox remember my Yahoo email username and password. Last week someone hacked into my Yahoo email account and used my email address list to send out lots of yucky spam to them. I have changed my Yahoo password, but now, just for safety's sake, I want to have that password blank whenever I sign in. How do I toggle the Firefox memory OFF so that it doesn't remember my new Yahoo name and password? I would prefer to log that name and password in myself from now on.

I'm back on Firefox 13.01 and the webmail and Yahoo Home page appear to be sorted.
From another similar problem, I learned that going into Tool/Options - Network Settings, and changing the proxy setting from AutoDetect Proxy to Use System Proxy, or No Proxy gets rid of the password pop-up problem.
I've been using 13.01 for the last 10 minutes or so, with Yahoo as my home page, and I've ended and started FF five or six times, and each time, my it went straight to my homepage without requesting a password. E-mail looks to be working fine as well.
