To make a long story short, I sent my Zen Touch to the factory to be replaced. It took them long enough to even recognize that they recieved it, but when they did they sent me an e-mail saying your replacement product has been sent. Does that mean that they sent me a new Mp3 player? I find out soon enough, but I was just wondering if anyone else got this e-mail and what was the outcome.

When you send your MP3 player to get fixed they do not "fix" your original product. What they do is send you a refurbed one and keep your original to be refurbed at a later time. If you want u can check what they did if you go to www.creativelabs.com then click on support, on the support page you will find a link that says something like "check your RMA status", After clicking on the link type in your phone number area code frist with no "-" and your RMA number. This will show you your original serial number and the replacement one.
when i sent my zen xtra in it took two weeks or so to get it back in my hands. It was out of waranty and i sent no money. But when my sisters Zen NX had to be sent to them we paid $40 and they sent it back the same day they said it was recieved on their website. Seems like money will make anybody move a little faster.

    I have a horrible time with my new Iphone-4, No SIM card found issues and while i tried to contact customer care with device serial number getting a messgae of "Our records indicate that this product has been replaced.     What step should i take next.

    Where did you get the phone?
    That phone was replaced by Apple or an AASP and was not returned to Apple as it should have been, or it was stolen from Apple or somewhere in the supply chain.
    You can not get support from Apple for that phone.
    Return it to wherever you got it and get your money back.

    I (based Malaysia) got a iphone 3gs 32G as a present from my relative based at UK, she told me that the iphone is factory unlocked. after i got it, i try to insert local carries into iphone and when trying to activate it, I am getting an error from iTunes saying 'The sim card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported'. i then tried to check the status of warranty (IMEI) at Online Service Assistant. when i entered the IMEI number, status shown 'We're sorry, but this is a serial number for a product that has been replaced. Please check your information and re-enter your serial number'. i stunned with this status and i eventually call to UK apple care to inform the issue. they told me that the product has been replace due to original's screen was spoiled and replacement is claimed under warranty. they ask me to provide the receipt in order to confirm the ownership. Unfortunately, my relative has lost the receipt so i am afraid it would hinder the new replacement. I email the apple representative but he seems do not entertain my claim despite i could prove the iphone still in new in box.
    Is that possible apple will produce two different iphone with same IMEI? i just wonder how could my iphone has been replace? any suggestion?

    If relative purchased phone with credit/debit card, issuing bank should be able to provide copy of receipt. If relative is setup to do banking on line, relative may be able to download copy of receipt without contacting bank. If purchase was cash, retailer may be able to search its records if time and date are known; retailer may have no desire to do so and probably is under no obligation to comply. Photograph box showing iPhone serial # & IMEI and email as attachment to Applecare consultant to see if that will help your claim. If all else fails, return iPhone to relative in UK and have her deal with seller.

    First, in regards to iTunes content an iPhone can be synced with an iTunes library on a single computer only, and photos can be transferred from a single computer only. When transferring iTunes content and photos from another computer, all iTunes content and photos transferred from a different computer will be erased from the iPhone first.     All iTunes content on your iPhone - all music, movies, tv shows, and 3rd party apps should be in your iTunes library on your computer. Did you transfer your iTunes library from your old Mac to your new Mac and if so, how was this done?
    If the 3rd party apps on your iPhone are not in your iTunes library on your computer which means you didn't have Sync Apps selected under the Apps tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on your old Mac, first you need to authorize your new Mac with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so. With your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone. This will transfer all iTunes content from your iPhone that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store that is not currently available in your iTunes library on your new Mac. After confirming all apps on your iPhone are in your iTunes library on your new Mac, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab and make sure all apps currently installed on your iPhone are selected below.

    I'm stationed here in S. Korea - I purchased the phone on a military installation. I have had the Itouch for about 2 months then it just shut off randomly one day.     An iPod will not pair to a computer via BT.  The iPod doe not have the necessary profile to support that.  Sorry.  Also see the following:

    It means that the iPhone was returned to Apple because it was defective, and the owner was given or purchased a replacement. That phone can never be used. It was probably stolen in transit to an Apple refurbishing facility.

    My Iphone 4 is telling me the same thing and I believe I figured out what the problem is.  I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges.  Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled."  I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases."  One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things.  It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!.  My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money.  She spent $106.00 buying stuff.  Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes.  I'm hoping this solves the problem.  Here is the link to learn how to disable "in app purchase" on your iphone or ipad.
