Z BO not workin for start events

Hi all,
I have creted a Z BO from the std. BO of BUS2032 (Sales Order) and have added some new attributes, methods to it.
The Z BO works fine in conditions and activities in WF.
BUT the prob. is i have used the Z BO in the Start Events in my WF but then its not workin.
Also i cant see an entry in trace for the start events trigger. when i use the standard BO in start events it works fine.
Can nybody tell me whts the prob.

I created a Z BO with custom attributes and delegated the same to the std. one.
Now i am using the std. BO in WF start events and in Condition step of my WF.
Now when i change my sales order i dont get any mail as such thogh my Start events is activated.
and at the same time i check in SWI3 (WF Log) i see errors such as:
( Error '9' when calling service 'SO_OBJECT_SEND'
Problems occurred when generating a mail
Notification of completion cannot be generated
Error when determining attribute 'NETVALUE' of object instance '[BO.ZZBUS2032.]' )
But at the same time when i execute my WF via SWUS T-code i get a mail wid all relavant information this means that
my binding is right then.. or corect me if i am wrong..
am i missing someting.. inputs needed on the same..

Action Script 3 code not working for start and stop button?

Ok so I have this simple animation I created of a circle that moves from one side of the stage to the other. I have added a new layer and called it buttons. On this layer I have added 2 buttons. One for start and another one for stop. The purpose is to get my circle to move from one side of the stage to the other but be able to use my buttons so that I can start and stop the animations at random times during playback. I fixed all my compiler errors now the problem lies in that everytime I click the start or the stop button I get an output error. I have a 3rd layer in which is titled actions and this is where all my code is posted. I removed that layer and placed my code in the first frame of the buttons layer to see if this would change anything but I still get the same output errors. So I just added back my actions layer. What could I be doing wrong? I have made sure to name all my movie clips and buttons correctly and I even added an instance name to them.
Here is my code and the errors I am getting when I press the play and stop button on test-

ok so my circle is my movie clip and it is titled circle and the instance name is circle. Am I supposed to change MovieClip to circle? I put the code at the top of my actions script but for some reason it did not work. I did change play to stop and it got the movie clip to stop when I do test movie but my buttons still do not work. So I changed stop back to play. Strange.
I did try changing MovieClip to circle but that did not work so I did Circle with a capital C and that did me no good eigther.
I meant to add that I did get an error that said- 1180 Call to a possibly undefined method circle.

Partner profile is not workin for automatic vendor posting

Dear SAP Gurus,
When i am doin the intercompany billing so the RD04 output calls but the status is red and when i see the processing log the system says that EDI: Partner profile not available..and also vendor A/P dont generate..even though i have make all the setting and still its not working...i really dont know that wht i am missing....can any one tell me the setting for the partner profile? that wht setting i have to do for the customer outbound or inbound processing and wht settings for the vendor outbound or inbound processing? i will appreciate for your fast response...

Why we are goin to make for vendor or bank? this is purly the cross company sales scenario.....the thing there is 2 compnay code in one client.....customer comes to company A and ask for the material and company A dont have material.....so company A makes sales order and in the sales order define the plant for the company B......customer goes to compnay B and take the goods....so delivery will from company B....2 invoices will be generated one for the customer from company A and 2nd invoice is generated from compnay B to company A......so now A/P is not genrating from Company A? even though every thing is maintain.....but still is not working......and its saying that partner profile is not avaliable....even though its maintain for the internal customer and the internal vendor.....so please can u help me on that.....

Start events via change documents (BUS2009)

Hi All,
I'm currently working on ECC 6.0 and need help for starting events via change documents.
I want to restart a workflow whenever a cost centre in the PR is changed. So I have created an entry in SWEC with Change doc. object as BANF and triggering event as On Change.
In the field restriction I have entered EBKN-KOSTL. I want trigger two events SIGNIFICANTLYCHANGED to end previously started workflow and RELEASESTEPCREATED to start the new workflow.
But whenever these events are triggered the new workflow starts with an error status and the old one remains as it is. The error for new workflow seems like there is no binding between triggered event object and started workflow.
Please suggest. m i missing something ?

It's the same old bug. I think you have already configured the release strategy which triggers all the necessary events, now when you make entries in SWEC, this also triggers the event and the overlapping takes place resulting in the error you are getting. Either you remove the release strategy or the entries in SWEC. Further make sure you have terminating event "Changed" or "SignificantlyChanged" in the approval task based on your requirement.
For the conditions, you can either control using start conditions or using the release strategy Characteristic FRG_EBAN_KOSTL if you want to stick to release settings.

Event for task not defined as start/end event

Hi all,
We get the following error in our inbox although the event seems to work as intended
Event ZIMEC006 APPROVED_REJECTED for task TS81700130 not defined as start/end event
If I go to the task TS81700130, the event APPROVED_REJECTED is defined as a terminating event(under the tab terminating events) with objecttype BO and object ZIMEC006 and the binding is ok
What could be the problem?

Hi,
The BO your using is a custom one,
If Yes Goto the BO, Release that Event,Save and generate the BO.
other wise, if you created a Subtype of the Std. BO, check that Z-event you created is released and the BO delegated to Std. BO, save and generate the BO.

Event DRAW CHANGED for task TS90000016 not defined as start/end event

Hello,
i have created a workflow with one task, this task is of object type DRAW and the method is CHANGED. and i want to trigger this task when the status of a document changes to completed.
Now when i change the status of a document to completed, the workflow is starting but then throwing an exception. Here is what i am getting, any ideas as to why ?
Event DRAW CHANGED for task TS90000016 not defined as start/end event
Event linkage with errors deactivated
from the swel event trace i am getting the following:
the receiver <task> started correctly,
then i get the following:
Receiver FM SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT_IBF
message: Event DRAW CHANGED for task TS90000016 not defined as start/end event
any ideas as to why this is happening and how i can fix it ?

Hi,
   If you want the task to be executed without any agent intervention follow this:
In the transaction PFTC_DIS OR PFTC_CHG open your standard task and
          see whether you have checked the ' background processing' option in
          execution category.
It seems the "changed" method in Draw object is synchronous - so you
           dont need any terminating events.
   else
check for the bindings in workflow and make sure you dont make any
         container with import parameter as mandatory.
   Hope this will solve the problem.

Process chain Error: This AND process is not waiting for event RSPROCESS

Hi All,
I am facing an error in the process chain in PRD.
Error message: This AND process is not waiting for event RSPROCESS.
We had a process chain which had two sub chains which run parallel and below of this we had AND process type and below of the AND process we had 4 more jobs.
Once the two subchains got successfully loaded, the and process should turn to green and further 4 jobs should start.
It is a daily load , it worked fine from past years,but suddenly the AND processtype is getting failed.The thing is in the two subchains if one got completed, the AND process process is not waiting for 2nd subchain to get completed.The AND process is turning to RED (status: cancelled) . I tried to repeat the AND process once after above 2 subchains loaded, but it didnt worked.
And i removed the existing AND process and created a new one and placed it in same place and activated and schedules again.but still it is getting failed with same error.

Hi,
If you did any transports related to that metachain we face similar kind of issues.
not only the AND process , we need to remove all the process before executing the AND process and create it again.
It helps you, you said your in production So you should take the proper approvals and do it.

The cause: It is now clear what caused this problem. For years I had several “all-day” events in my Outlook calendar (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.). In May 2012 I decided to make some of them one hour events so I could add alerts to remind me of the event. I did this by dragging them in Outlook to the time I wanted and expanding them to the time slot desired and then adding the alarm.
The symptom: Syncing stopped working for the calendar but continued working for contacts and notes. I didn’t realize sync was failing until months later when I missed two very important phone calls, so when I noticed it the cause was not obvious.
The failed attempts: I’m head of a software firm and my calendar sync is a crucial to my business life so I took this on with a vengeance. From a quick look at events in Outlook and the iPhone I could see that the problem started in May 2012. Events before May were in both Outlook and the iPhone but events after May were only one or the other. Unfortunately I had changed several other things at the same time relating to other events so again the cause was not obvious. MANY calls with AppleCare proved them incompetent so my internal IT guys assisted trying many things. We tried a huge number of calendar changes and several versions of iTunes, iPhone OS and Office as well as both iPhone 4 and 5, all without success.
The fix: After 18 months of frustration, MANY hundreds of $ expense and MANY hours of wasted time I saw a blog that had a calendar sync problem and it indicated all day events were related. I changed the display of the Outlook calendar to the list view, added columns so I could see “all day” event check marks as well as times of events, sorted on the “all day” event column to move them to the top, and for all events that were “all day” events AND had a start and end time, I removed recurrence and then added the annual recurrence back…
After I fixed all events that had BOTH “all day” set and had a start/end time, I tried another sync. It synced for the first time in 18 months!

It will recursively remove all '_ModGrp...' folders

How to set a default start and/or end date for New Events based on trigger date.

I'm using the CalendarActivityListener to get current row when clicking on an existing event. As per previous posts this listener gives you access to event detail including Start Date, End Date, etc.
However, what I want to do is to default the start (and end) dates for New Events based on the trigger date.
I've tried the CalendarListener and can grab the Trigger Date from it - however, I can't see a way to pass this directly to the popup/dialog I'm using to create the new event.
At present I'm putting the TriggerDate into the ADFContext session scope e.g. ADFContext.getCurrent().getSessionScope().put("TriggerDate",calendarEvent.getTriggerDate());
Then, I've tried multiple approaches to try and "get" the TriggerDate from session scope to drop it into my new Calendar Event basically, I'm trying to default the InputField(s) associated with the Start Date using the value from the session - I've tried
1. setting the default value for the InputField in the jspx using a binding expression i.e. value="#{sessionScope.TriggerDate}" - this actually sets the value appropriately when the jspx is rendered but, when I go to create I get a NPE and I can't debug. I assumed that it might be a Date type issue - it would appear that CalendarListener provides a date of type java.util.Date and that the StartDate attribute of my VO/EO/table is a DATE and therefore requires oracle.jbo.domain.Date so I tried casting it - to no effect
2. Using a Groovy expression *(StartDate==null?adf.context.sessionScope.TriggerDate:StartDate)* in my calendar's EventVO to default the Start Date to the same result
Any thoughts or ideas?

Urgent - not able to add or change start events in workflow

Hi,
I have added one event as start event for a workflow. Now I want to change the event to some other event.
But it is not allowing me to do any changes to the start events.It is showing a pop up window with 'Client 002 has status 'not modifiable' & 'Choose 'Display object' or 'Cancel'.' But it is allowing me to do changes to my workflow steps.
Where is the problem?
Is there anything I need to check with some customizing? Is it a Basis related issue?

Well it depends on the settings done by basis. But usually this message comes in when you try to modify a workflow/code in CLNT2 but the code was developed in CLNT1. The cause to it is the CTS is specific to the client in which it is created and you can`t add a task (subrequest ) to it in a different client.
Solution: Check the client you are working in . Should help you !!

Event CREATED is not triggered for objects of type USER

Dear all,
I'm currently configuring a workflow, which should be started when new user account is created. I took event CREATE for object type USER as a start event, but the workflow does not start, when I create new user account via transaction code SU01. If I test workflow in SWUS, everything works fine. I checked the event trace, but it shows no records for events triggered when I use SU01 and create a user.
Could you please advise how I can activate triggering of this event without using ABAP-developed event trigger?

One more way to trigger a workflow is by the messages output. I mean when a user account is created successfully then a message will displayed on the screen let say User ABC created Successfully right so, when ever this message is raised then you can start the workflow by using this message. this can be done by using the txn SWUY
1. Open SWUY txn.
2. Click on Continue and in the next screen give the area as the message class name from which the message is getting triggered and its number in the field Message and click on continue.
3. Then it will open the PFTC txn mention the description and click on the workflow builder button and design the workflow as per you requirement.
and once this is done , so when ever the message from the above mentioned message class is raised at that time your workflow will also be started.
In this way I hope you can reduce your development time , searching for the right BADI or User exit and implementing the code and testing..
Here in the above txn all you have to make sure that from which message class the message is getting displayed once the user is created successfully, I suggest you a way is you create a dummy user and once the dummy user is created succeffully system will display the message right?, so just double click on the message at the bottom of the screen this will let you knwo what is the message class and number it is using. and once you know tyr to approach the above steps....

Synchronous start event for a BPM process??

If I trigger a BPM Process from say a BSP Application(Shld be able to do this as all I need is a Service Interface (Start Event) related to the BPM), If for some reason the process fails to start -- Is there a way of having a response that would let the triggering application know that the BPM process instantiation has failed...
What I am trying to understand is :
1)would the Service Interface for the BPM start Event, provide a response ?...??
2)Is it possible to have some kind of logic implementation for this Service Interface(that starts a BPM Process) ??
Eventhough there was a similar message in the forum, I wanted to have a clear picture ....
A detailed reply would be highly appreciated ..Thanks !

I guess you need to distinguish 2 to 3 cases here:
In case you used a snychronous call in the service interface definition assigned to the process start event it will result in a SOAP fault, which says that the process started successfully. Reason for that is explained here: Starting a BPM Process - Where is the Service?
Problems within your process would also not be reflected in the SOAP message (e.g. if there is some issue within the first step after the process has been started). I guess that is somehow obvious as the process has been started after all, but I wanted to state it anyways.
Finally and that's possibly the most important point for you: If there are any problems during the instantiation and in the end no process has been started then this should be reflected in the SOAP result. If not I would consider it as an issue in the implementation and would like to ask you to open a ticket for it on http://service.sap.com/message

Thanks for that suggestion - could not get it to work. However, I did manage a different approach. I finally determined the sequence of events in terms of how the various events and listeners fire (I think).
Basically, the CalendarActivityListener fires, followed by the listener associated with the Calendar object's Create facet, followed finally by the CalendarEventListener - the final is where the TriggerEvent is available and then finally, control is passed to the popup/dialog in the Create facet. So, my approach of trying to set/get the TriggerDate in the user's HTTP session was doomed to failure because it was being get before it had been set :(
