Z10 Goes Off When It Tries to indenfify network

I have a blackberry z10 and lately, the phone keeps going off, after sevearl attempt at trying to identify what the problem is, I noticed this happens when ever the phone is attempting to connect to the mobile network or identify the network. If I remove my sim or turn of the mobile network all is ok without any problems.
I have reloaded the OS, done a security wipe, used autoloaders, I have even downgraded the OS from 10.2.1 to 10.2.0 and nothing so far seems to have helped.
Any ideas what I can do?

Ahhh...OK...that's additional information not originally provided.
It is completely possible that your device is damaged or defective somehow, in which case formal hardware level support would be needed. If you have warranty, you'd seek that out via that channel. If not, then you'd simply find a local (to you) shop with a qualified BB hardware technician and obtain an evaluation and estimate.

When FT is full screen, camera goes off when swipping to a different app or the desktop. This is frustrating to the other person. We were having a discussion and I said I wouls look it up and when I swipped to Safari, the camera went off. It makes the other person think the connection has been lost. Go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn LED Flas for Alerts to Off.

Backight goes off when unplug charger

Can someone help ?please. A few days ago the backlight of my T61 started to goes off when i unplug the A/C charger. I can still see the computer running fine, it's the screen is very dark. this also happen when i use FN + end key to dim the light but only after the third level. After the screen goes dark i have to shutdown, plug in the charger and turn it back on then the screen is fine.Could this be something is wrong with the THINKVANTAGE PRODUCTIVITY CENTER?? Any help is highly appreciated

in bios changed in battery section - USER DEFINIED.
in OS chose instead of [Ubuntu 9.04 and Fedora 11 ] the new Ubuntu 9.10.

My iphone 3g running ios 4.2.1 goes off when it is idle and i have to reboot it before it starts work.
it does not go off when it plays music..... or plugged into the PC.

It's likely running slow because of iOS4, not because of apps being open. Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
If still a problem restore from your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
You'll most likely need to restore as new to get it running as good as it can. A 3G will never run as good on iOS4 as it did on iOS3.

My display goes off when Battery being charged on Acer E5-511 after upgrading to Windows 10

I upgraded my window 8.1 to Window 10 on Acer E5-511 machine yesterday. I notice that when I switch on power to charge its battery, a beep sounds and display goes off. when power is again switched off the display comes back with a beep again. However, when the machine battery is allowed to charge for some time, either it goes to hibernation mode or stops working since display does not come back even after switching off the power supply. This peculiar problem did not existed when I had used this Notebook with windows 8.1 for past eight months. Can any one help me to solve this problem as i am being forced to charge the battery only when Notebook is not powered on.

MacBook backlight goes off when lid partially closed

My 2yr old MacBook backlight has started turning off when the screen is partially closed. It works fine if the screen is open beyond a certain angle (about 90 degrees), but turns off when the screen is closed beyond that angle. Comparing to another MacBook (newer system): the backlight stays on until the screen/lid is just about closed.
It's definitely the backlight (the logo goes off as well), not the system suspending.
I'm worried this may be an early sign of a general failure.
It's well out of warranty -- any ideas what part should I look at replacing?

I have the mid 2009 MBP - is there a magnet inside the unibody aluminum housing? The lid latch below the track pad is smooth and seems to have some magnetic attraction to the lid itself.

My problem is that the screen does not go off when the lid is closed. The problems described with the SMC reset involve the screen backlight not turning on. It also says to not reset the SMC unnecessarily. WIll that reset affect anything else?
Tried the paper clip - no joy. Will check with a magnet at work.
Is there a time setting for sleep mode on close?

Computer does not turn on, power LED goes off when power button is pressed

My Pavilion 17-e078nr has stopped working, it will not power on. When you push the power button, the power LED next to where the plug is goes off and takes several minutes before it comes back on. I've tried removing the battery and get the same results and with the batter in and AC disconnected the power button does nothing. I've also tried the hard reset with no luck. As far as I know, nothing has happened to the computer since last time it worked. My two theories are either the AC power is bad, or there is a problem internal to the laptop. The AC power is providing the 19.5V, I measured it using a multi meter, I'm just not sure if it's providing the required wattage, or if the connection to the laptop is secure, it feels a little loose, but at the same time the LED comes on, so I know it's getting a connection. Only thing I can think to try is go to a store that sells this type of computer and see if I can use one of their power supplies to power my computer, and/or plug my supply into one of their computers. Don't know how willing any store would be to allow me to do that though. Any one have any additional thoughts or advise?

Hi! I have the exact same problem... the LED on adapter, is very, very dim when connected.
At first I tried connecting my macbook to my roommate's adapter and had the same problem. then tried taking out the battery, and still had the same problem. I did the same thing with my roommate's macbook, but hers did actually turn on! it operated without the battery. Figured out it was problem with mine.
I kept on trying combinations battery, computer and adapter. turns our that my battery (which I thought at first was the problem) charges perfectly on my roommates mac, but wont charge on mine. her adapter won't work either on my computer. What I've been doing is charging my battery on her computer, then placing it on my mac, and it works. only thing that won't work is the adapter.
Went to a mac store, and they told me that the problem was a small cable o wire that went from the Magsafe point into the mac and that the LED was very dim because no energy was being drawn from that spot because of this little wire being broken. they gave me the name of this wire... very technical stuff so, completely forgot cause I didn't have anything near to write on.
I'd like to know if anyone has gone through this same ordeal, and had this wire replaced without any problems. When it comes to opening up my mac, I'm a bit skeptical, since warranty is expired and wouldn't want for a solution to become a bigger problem.

Iphone 4, screen goes off when configuring screen comes on

My iphone 4 keeps blocking after the configuring screen comes on.

My BlackBerry z10 goes off at 70%

Issue came first in the z10 model stl 100 1 when the last release of 10.0 was updated and throughout the 10.1 this issue is present in z10 stl100 1 model. in 10.2 leak although this issue is resolved as now i am using it ....
basically what this error is " your device battery meter goes off sync with the actual battery meter therefore your mobile gives different percentages for the differect battery level " as you said that z10 turning of at 70 % at this time your battery actually is fully discharged but your mobile goes from 100 to 70 % but your battery goes from 100 to 0 % . and when you charge again your mobile starts from 70 % and your battery from 0 %. am i correct ?
there are many things that you can do to correct it this off sync
1. charge your mobile and then with your mobile connect to OEM charger , remove the battery for 1 mint then reinsert it .. do it 2 times a day for fews day it will correct your device meter ... but it do not work for all
2. second as you said at 70 % your mobile goes off and you probably think there is a lot of battery but actually there is not .... mobile flash do not work when the battery voltage is below 3.4 v.... so to check it at 70 % open your camera and on the flash and try to capture the pic many time when your battery goes below 3.4 v you will notice flash is not working anymore ... at this time your mobile giving you false % .... to see it when your mobile goes off pul out the battery for 1 hour and then place the battery in then press power button for 3 sec then leave then for 5 sec then leave then for more than 1 mint then leave now plug the charger and do not press the power button you will notice your mobile start charging and after a while it will start and you will see mobile will be giving the actual % 10 or 20 and charging to 100 % ...

How do you stop all devices from going off when one is being called?

After most recent update for apple, all my devices are going off at the same time when only one is where the call is gong to. I have 2 iPhones, 3 iPads and an iPad mini and one newer iPod. Is there a way to stop this? It is kind of a pain.

Pismo - Color goes OFF when launching Apps!

As an Apple developer for 22 years I thought I'd seen everything, but here's a novel problem:
I've got a Pismo (G3 500) running OS X (10.3.9). When I reboot, the screen comes up in color. It remains in color until I launch an application. Then, for some reason, the dolor disappears! The screen goes monochrome!
For example, I run "KidPix" (OS X version) and now the screen's color goes off.
And, if I run any OS 9 games in Classic mode, and they want to switch to 256 colors, I no longer get any image in any acceptable video format -- but ONLY in the area where that program's window resides!
For example, running one of the OS 9 "Reader Rabbit" titles, the screen immediately turns to distorted, squiggly lines. When the app is quit, I briefly see the FInder return to normal color / resolution, before staying in monochrome black & white.
Anyone ever seen this?

I agree...a most odd problem. No known solution but a few suggestions for troubleshooting.
- Have you checked System Preferences Universal Access? Possibly someone has played around with some settings.
- I would set up a new user account, log out/in to the new account and see how it behaves. If normal, you have a problem with your Home folder. One shotgun approach is to go to your Home folder/Library and drag the Preferences folder to the desktop, restart and test.
- If the hardware behaves normally when booted to 9.x, it should be strictly an OSX issue.
- If you have not done so, run the cron scripts and flush all the caches.
I would be interested in what turns up...

Flash goes off when receiving texts

Another thing I have noticed - sometimes when I receive a text, the camera flash goes off

The LED-on-message is a feature that can be enabled/disabled in Settings/General/Accessibility.
However, if you don't have this feature enabled, there's a bug in your phone...
This is the feature description, taken from the latest iPhone User Guide:
If you can’t hear the sounds that announce incoming calls and other alerts, you can have iPhone flash its LED (next to the camera lens on the back of the iPhone). This works only when iPhone is locked or asleep. Available for iPhone 4 or later.
Turn on LED Flash for Alerts: Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > LED Flash for Alerts.

Ringer going off when in Silent Mode

My ringer is going off at the same volume as my headphones when I am listening to music. I would assume it is supposed to ring in your earphones and not the phone itself. Am I missing something

If the switch is not set to silent, it should ring both on the phone and in the earphones. This is so you won't miss a call if you have a headset plugged into the phone but don't have it in you ears.
