Zen Micro - Does Creative care about making their product work or can someone help
My patience for Creative has just about run out. I am hoping someone can help me because obviously Creative cannot. I bought this Zen Micro in 2005. From the very first day I had problems. I bought it for use with Napster (which I have never had any problems with).
Back then, I had free telephone support, which I no longer have. I guess Creative realized how long they'd be on the phone with everyone since their products need constant technical support. Anyway, they told me that their software was only BETA for Napster. I never would have purchased it if I had known this. My original problems were that if I shut off the player, I would lose everything I had transferred to it. I believe that updates since then have fixed it. I also learned how to avoid this - I locked the device and let it go into idle shutdown. This would allow the device to start up normally next time.
My problems now are as follows. It STILL (two years later) is freezing if I try to transfer more than 5 or 6 tracks. Freezes with no way to fix it unless you unplug it while it's docked. I had to pull out the battery to get it to restart. Now it's lost all my playlists (although the songs are still there) and if I play a song, all the information is gone. You can hear the song but the screen just says something about going to play mode to play a song - while the song is playing. Also, my computer is now not recognizing that the player is connected so I can't get it to connect to Napster to even try to re-start my transfers. I've rebooted the computer and the player. Now I have no idea what to do. I tried to update the driver from Creative but if the computer isn't noticing it's connected, now can I get it to update?
I will never, ever buy a Creative again. But for now, can anyone help me?

The main problem is that after part of the firmware has been loaded the micro hangs and the computer wants me to install a driver so it can communicate with the micro via the USB port, that same port it was using just prior to do the firmware download. Now the micro can not connect via the USB port in this computer or any other computer I try.
How can I get this situation resolved? I have read other posts and tried the suggested actions but none worked with my first micro and I don't want to put this one in the same locked out state.

Does creative care about it customers
It would appear that Creative does not care that most customers do not have any idea about the firmware to player issue. No referance material or software is included with the Zen micro. The website has little if any instruction. I have spent, to date, 8hrs. searching and reinstalling firmware, updates, drivers to come to the conclusion that Creative, who at this time are not able to be contacted because it's the weekend, either does not care about it's customers or does not know how to support thier products properly.
I have other things to do than sit at the computer. This Creative Zen micro was to be enjoyed but I'm not enjoying it at all.

My Ipod touch does not work properly.When i charge it,it only works for 5 min.n gets discharge.I showed it to the apple store in banglore n the person told me its fine n It is working properly.Bt its not working properly.Can someone help
If after you charge it for about three hours and it only last about five minutes the battery is probably dead or there could be another hardware problem. I would go back to the Apple store and ask them specifically how can it be OK if the fully charged battery only lasts five minutes.

On your iPad go to the App Store icon, Tap on the Purchased Tab.
It will show you all the Apps that have been bought with the Apple Id currently in use by the iPad.
Assuming its the same one being used on the iPhone, you should be able to find the App there.
To further help you find it you can tap on the "Not on this iPad" button to limit the results to just Apps not currenlty installed on your iPad. -

The Nano has a 1 year warranty. Contact Apple or point of purchase for instructions for warranty service, assuming it is still covered. -
Creative Zen Micro with a ! on its side: not work
I had the Zen Micro installed in my computer but it stopped working. If I now connect the portable device nothing appears, and it tells me that I have to install the drivers. I put the cd in, but at some point it gives me back an error message saying that the .inf files refers to a service that doesn't work. What am I supposed to do?Does it have anything to do with a usb problem?

Does Lightroom care about camera color space settings?
I am using a NEX 7. Color space options on the camera are sRGB and AdobeRGB. Does Lightroom care about the camera color space settings when it sees RAW files?
Colorspace is used in-camera for creating the jpeg preview embedded in the raw file (and/or jpeg sidecar).
The colorspace is embedded in the jpeg sidecar, and so Lightroom will respect it.
The colorspace is *usually* NOT embedded in the raw preview (although in my opinion it should be). Its in the raw file as proprietary metadata.
All camera manufacturer softwares respect the colorspace for initial raw preview, but Lightroom does not.
(Lightroom doesn't attend to any proprietary metadata, except white balance).

My disc drive on my imac does not appear to be working. It takes the disc in but then spits it out without reading it. I have thought about purchasing an external disc drive, can someone advise me please?
Try the following:
In Finder, select the problematic volume and then press command-I.
Expand the Sharing & permissions section if it's collapsed.
If the section is locked, then unlock it by pressing the padlock button and then authenticating as directed.
Tick/check Ignore ownership on this volume. -

If it is itunes on your computer - stop people from connecting their phones to your computer, do not connect to others.

What does the product developer say about system requirements? If it needs to be run from within Internet Explorer then you'll need to find a way to run Internet Explorer. Boot Camp or VM installation of Windows would be two options.
But first check the product requirements. -
While watching an iTunes movie from my Apple TV, why does my movie stop playing at the 1 hour mark? I'm assuming I have a setting causing this to happen, but I have no idea what setting needs to be changed. Can someone help me?
It's right at an hour (consistently), but the computer goes to sleep prior to that. It's as if iTunes goes to sleep. Also, it wasn't always this way. Originally, the movies played through without interruption. At some point, I guess a setting was changed, and now I only get an hour. Also. My energy settings are set to go to sleep at 10 minutes.

iPhone 3G is Old technology. When it was launched it had iOS 2.0. Currently, the highest it can go is iOS 4.2.1 and therefore can not handle many newer applications. As you have recorded, it is giving good service for which it has been designed.
Needless to say, if you want to use applications as stated, you must have at least 3GS, whose current is iOS 6.1.2. On the lighter side; Rather than updating iOS they are asking you to update iPhone (Technology). Cheers -

You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.
