Zero transducer value

I am trying to create a vi to zero a differential pressure transducer reading when a button is pushed. I was thinking about acquiring the data with no pressure applied and then using that as a zero offset. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am working with Labview 6.1.

One thing that springs to mind is that you can't tell what pressure is present before you start. Once you press that button you are committed!
Imagine that it has been a day or so after some one else has set the pressure, then you come to set it.... What was the initial reading.
I would turn the problem on its head a bit.
Make a measurement system that continously displays the reading from the device then add some logic to handle the relative pressure.
The continous pressure measurement can then be fed to graphs for trend analysis such as leak detection or data logged etc.... You then always have a reading of the absolute pressure and can store the offset value. Thus you can also correct for calibration problems should you desire and also monitor the set differential points as well if required.
You get better feedback for the operator and it would also work for calibration, maintenance and debugging.

  • Credit memo request with zero net value

    Hello all,
when we create a credit memo request (VA01, doc type CR) and put a material quantity into the credit memo request that falls below the scale in VK13, the net value for the material will be zero.
We do not want to allow to save the credit memo request with a zero net value, but SAP will just allow us do that.
I was wondering if there is a way to pop up a warning or even an error message that avoids saving the document in case of a zero net value?
    Thanks
    Anne

    Hi,
You can make the condition type (for which $0.00 is not allowed) as mandatory condition type in the pricing procedure. By this way the system will give error and wont allow to proceed any further unless the data is complete. (make sure this is not affecting your regular sales order cycle).
Or if you just want to give a pop-up message then you can use user exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in include MV45AFZZ

  • LabVIEW 6.1 If For Loop count terminal is zero then value going through the loop is not passed on to the output of the loop

Hello, one of our customers just encountered an execution error in a vi running under LabVIEW 6.1, which doesn't exist under LabVIEW 5.1 or 6.01. I have a simple vi that has two encapsulated For Loops. Two string arrays go in, one goes out of the outer loop. Inside the outer loop the first array is indexed. The string which results from this indexing is compared with all other strings from the second string array in the inner loop. If it matches one of the strings of the second array, it is not outputted, otherwise this string goes through the inner For Loop to the output of the inner loop and from there to the output of the outer loop. The count
terminal of the outer/inner loop is connected to the Array Size of the first/second string array. If the second array is empty, that means that the element in test from the first arry cannot match anything from the second array, so the element in test is send to the output of the inner loop and from there to the output of the outer loop. This works fine in LabVIEW 5.1 and 6.01, but NOT in LabVIEW 6.1. In LabVIEW 6.1 the inner loop is never executed if the count value is zero (which is correct), but the data line running through the loop is not executed either, which is different to what LabVIEW 5.1 and 6.01 do. There, the input string is sent to the output of the inner loop correctly even if the loop counter is zero. The solution is easy - I just have to connect the output of the outer loop to the data line BEFORE it enters the inner loop. But: I don't know if this is a LabVIEW 6.1 bug or if it is supposed to be a feature, but it brings some incompatibility in programming between the
    different LabVIEW versions.
    Best regards,
    Gabsi

    Hi,
When a for-loop runs zero times, all outputs are 'undefined' (and should
    be).
Besides, how would LV know what the output of a not executed routine should
    be?
It might be handled differently in LV5 and LV6, which is unfortunate. In
both cases, the result is undefined.
It's not a bug. It's just something that should be avoided in any LV
    version.

    > output of the outer loop to the data line BEFORE it enters the inner
    > loop. But: I don't know if this is a LabVIEW 6.1 bug or if it is
In some cases this does the trick. But if the data is changed in the inner
loop, this will effect the results if the N is not zero.
Technically, I think the output in this construction is also 'undefined'.
But LV handles this as expected / desired.
Another solution is to use a shift register. If N is zero, the input is
directly passed through to the output.
    Regards,
    Wiebe.

  • Hide Zero pay value elements in payslip

I thought this was standard feature under Business Group Information, but cant find it now.
How do you hide the zero pay value (payment/deduction) elements in standadr UK Payslip?
    Thoughts/Ideas?

Do you mean online payslip ? (that is the only one supported :) )
As far as I'm aware, there is no such default behavior.
The only thing which is seeded for a legislation is RR_SPARSE in pay_legislation_rules, which supresses all null/zero values in run_results.
Other than that, the only way I see is have a condition on the RTF template not to pick up zero values.
We've built a custom payslip report based on the seeded function -
    pay_payroll_xml_extract_pkg.generate(
    P_ACTION_CONTEXT_ID => csr_archive_act_rec.action_context_id
    ,P_CUSTOM_XML_PROCEDURE => NULL
    ,P_GENERATE_HEADER_FLAG => 'N'
    ,P_ROOT_TAG => 'PAYSLIP'
    ,P_DOCUMENT_TYPE => 'PAYSLIP'
    ,P_XML => l_xml);
The above constructs XML data from the Archive table - pay_action_inofrmation

  • How to disallow zero net value partial billing??

    Hi everyone,
I've been trying to figure this out for a while to prevent billing document with zero net value to be created.
This just happened when users made a mistake while  they were invoicing partially.
One out of two partial invoices of 1 sales order,  has only a free goods item , so net value of this invoice is zero. F/A people concern about this.
Please advise how to customise the system to prevent this undesireable circumstance.
    Thank you.
    Tikum.

    ํThank you for your advice.
Yes i realize that all items in sales order should be in billing.
My purpose is to give users an alert that they're doing something wrong with billing cuz it should not be zero net value invoice, so they will find out what happens and correct it.
    I did maintain output determination , routine LV61B062 , to return SY-SUBRC = 4  if net value = 0
And I did testing by invoicing with zero net value , debugging this routine, it gave '4' after pass this condition but the zero net value invoice still came out normally in the end. So i didn't work then....
please do me a favor If you have any alternative idea...
    Thank you.

  • Post document in FB01 with Document curr zero and value in local curr

    Hi all,
For uploading data migration transactional data we are using FB01. There are payment transactions with amount in local currency for exchange rate difference, but corresponding zero amount in document currency. But the system is not allowing to post an item with zero value in document currency when it has value in local currency field. I also tried T-code FBB1. Though it allows zero posting, it doesnot allow posting with Vendor item.
(Note: system accepts a value from .01 in document currency field, but doesnot accept 0).
Could you pl share any inputs regarding this.
    Thanks.
    Sri.

The scenario I put was a valid scenario. When we use FB01 to upload automatically posted foreign exchange revaluation transactions it will fail and the workaround used was to post in foreground by changng the 0 value field as .01.

  • Excise invoice posted with Zero duty value

    Hi,
My client has an STO process where they will generate a proforma Invoice with Excise duties,
Initially when proforma was created excise duties were not reflecting since condition records were not maintained, user was not aware of that and created a excise invoice also with 0 Duty value.
After this condition records were maintained and invoice was updated with excise values. But we are unable to update the excise tables through the same excise invoice no. This transaction is a back dated one for which client has already filed excise returns with SAP Excise number series, Can we pass a JV through FI to adjust the entries or any other solution.
    Regards,
    Zehran.

Client has done PGI with ZERO quantity
          also done billing
if i go to cancel that cancel invoice in J1IIN
it is not allowing to cancel
If your copy control is in line with standard settings, first of all you cannot post the goods issue without any quantity and also generation of billing is not possible.
Coming to your second issue, please try in J1IH instead of J1IIN.
    thanks

  • Zero BED value when posted J1IIN excise invoice from billing document

    Hi Guys,
I created VA01, VL01N and VF01. Bed value is showing in VF03 but when I created J1IIN from billing document, BED value is zero. I checked several places like below
    a) Logistics-General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Account Determination > Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction. Here ensure that for DLFC, necessary Account names are maintained.
    b) Similarly, in the next tab, Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction, ensure that for that Excise Group, relevant G/L Accounts are assigned
    c) Finally, in Business Transaction tab, select Outgoing Excise Invoices where you need to ensure that you have assigned billing type to delivery type and also the default Excise Groups and Series Groups are maintained.
I couldn't figure it out where the problem is. Please help me where to check and what should be done for this?
    Thanks,
    Manohar.

I maintained excise defaults for TAXINN, I am maintaining A/R BED % which is coming in billing document but not in J1IIN. When I click on simulate it is giving a popup box saying 'No defaults could be proposed for Excise utilization' and click on continue then it is giving another message saying 'Excise modvat accounts not defined for GRPO transaction and E2 excise group'. Please help me what is it?
    Thanks,
    Manohar.

while in MB5B both Stock and Value are Zero.
now we want to make the valuated stock value of material in TC MC.9 to zero.
    how can we do this.
    plz suggest
    thanks

    Hello,
this issue may be related to incorrect postings of accouting documents, or missing accouting documents (i.e not considered price changes). Best would be to have this analysed by SAP via an OSS message.

  • How to display Zero(0) values in cross tab format in Webi???

    Hi All,
Is there a way to display the zero(0) or null values in cross tab format in
webi. I can able to display in Regular tabular format in Webi as u got an option
in Properties --> Display --> Show all rows/columns, but it is not working when
i am using Cross Tab format for the same data.
    Regards
    Ram

    Hi Sunil,
Happy to see your solution. My requirement is that if you have a data like
    SBU,                   Cadre,                Value
    Chemical Buss,     Manger,                  45
    Crop Buss,            Workmen,               63
    Agri Buss,              Executive,              70
    Chemical Buss,     Executive,              84
    Agri Buss,              Workmen,              -
    Crop Buss,                 -,                        -
So now we need to get the rows or columns that are having blank values. Say like if Crop Buss is not having any values so it wont be displayed, but actually it has to be displayed.

  • ZERO condition Value in pricing

    Hi Gurus,
I have requirement where the condition should allow/accept a zero value when entered in a sales order.
It is necessary to fill at least an amount of 0,01 in. Weu2019d like to fill in the amount of 0,00 so that there is no pricing for the item.
Could you please tell me where I need to change the settings.
    Thank You in advance.
    Regards
    Kumar

    Hi,
In transaction V/08, go to the pricing procedure, which is shown in the sales order. Go to the item pricing condition type and de-select the check mark, under mandatory column.
Also check in transaction code OVA2, incompletion procedure, for the sales document item procedure, the field related to net price must be removed.
    Regards,

  • How to add zero into value prefix??

I have one reuqirement about adding zero prefix into value of Infoobject AAAA. Infoobject AAAA is the attribute of Infoobject BBBB. I need to write a ABAP code in the transfer rule of infoobject BBBB.
The length of infoobject BBBB is 10. That means system will automatically add zero if the length of the value is less than 10 after data loading.
Any body know how to write it

    Hi Dreshof,
    Try this:-
    CONSTANTS: c_zeros(10) TYPE c VALUE '0000000000'.
SHIFT TRANS_STRUCTURE-aaaa RIGHT DELETING TRAILING SPACE.
    OVERLAY TRANS_STRUCTURE-aaaa WITH c_zeros.
    RESULT = TRANS_STRUCTURE-aaaa.
The correct code is as shown below. Please ignore the code above this.
    Hi Again,
    Try this:-
    CONSTANTS: c_zeros(10) TYPE c VALUE '0000000000'.
    DATA: wa_aaaa LIKE TRANS_STRUCTURE-aaaa,
SHIFT wa_aaaa RIGHT DELETING TRAILING SPACE.
    OVERLAY wa_aaaa WITH c_zeros.
    RESULT = wa_aaaa.
    This will work.
Now do a syntax check. If all is ok. Save.
    Hope it helps ,
    Best regards,
    Sunmit.

    Hello SAP Experts,
I have a requirement that the zero value condition type should get populated in the pricing segment of idoc E1EDP05 under E1EDP01.
When we try, this no condition type comes in this segment. Based on this , I have to map certain data in my Ztable.
Request for the guidance to meet this requirement
    Thanks in advance,
    Casimer

    Hi Casimer,
sorry, this won't work without a modification.
The system outputs conditions and taxes in the INVOIC or ORDRSP IDoc
    under the following conditions.
o  The print indicator in the pricing procedure must be set.
For example ('X' for item E1EDP04 and E1EDP05)
                  ('S' for header level E1EDK04 and E1EDK05)
o  The value of the condition must be <> 0.
o  The condition must not be flagged as statistical.
o  The accrual field should be empty.
o  The condition must be active.
