Anonymous FTP User created by the system lacks the user name

I'm experiencing some problems and inconsistencies in the Mac OS X Server 10.4.7 FTP service.
First I'll report this behaviour to evaluate if it's worth a bug report.
I read in the that the user with user name 'Anonymous FTP User" and short name 'ftp' is created by the system the first time the FTP server is accessed using an anonymous user.
I noticed that the user is indeed created but its user name field is empty. It doesn't have the associated LDAP record, too.
If I try to manually create a user with an empty user name field WGM errors, so could this be considered a bug?

Using NFS u can write the file in XI directories only not on other system
If u want to write in other System (ECC in u r case) u shud use FTP protocol.
NFS ===> xi local path
other path ==> use FTP protocol

  • Unable to see user created in Child system

    Hi There,
    I am facing a peculiar issue with CUA.
    1) A user created in CUA is not appearing in Child system.
    2)When I checked the IDOC status it is Green(03) in both the systems.
    3)When I remove the system in the CUA for that client , it  is fine.
    4)When i again added the system it is fine in IDOCs as well and when I reset the password the status of IDOC in child system  says user does not exist.
    Please let me know if anybody had similar issue and any solutions I could look into

    Just to make things more clear.
    1)logical systems would not be an issue because the idocs would not appear in child system had it been the case.
    2)I tried the option to remove the particular child system from the user profile under systems ,saved and then added the system.
    When I went to child system, the idoc  says user created but again when I reset the password in the CUA for  that system   and check the idoc in child systems it fails saying user does not exist.

    All of a sudden I noticed that most of the folders on my computer were no longer using the folder icon, but the generic document icon. I had to manually change back the icon being used by opening Get Info for each folder and copying and pasting the generic folder icon from some folders that remained unchanged. Now whenever I create a New Folder (right click -> "New Folder"), the icon that shows up is the generic document icon (white page with top right corner turned down). And I have to manually change it so it shows up as a folder in Finder or on my desktop. I don't know why or how this switch happened. All of the folders now on my computer look ok, but I need to change the default so when I create a New Folder it uses the correct icon.
    I have also Forced Relaunch of my Finder and rebooted the system. I downloaded Candybar but am not sure what will fix anything, so I haven't proceeded.
    Anyone know how I can do this? Thanks.

    According to your description, your snapshot replication job fails and you come across the error related to TCP Provider. Based on my research, the issue could occur as the following two situations.
    1. OS runs out of memory for TCP buffers. When people use the two switch: the /PAE switch in the c:\boot.ini file and the /3gb switch in the boot.ini file. If the applications require many OS resources, such as by opening many TCP connections, this can cause
    the OS to run out of memory for resources like TCP buffers.
    2.OS runs out of available TCP “ephemeral” ports. When the client machine is opening many TCP connections and is running Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or any earlier version of Windows, it may run out of TCP “ephemeral” ports.
    To work around the issue, please follow the two solutions as below.
    1.Remove the /3gb switch from c:\boot.ini. The root problem in this case is memory pressure on the OS, so removing the /3gb switch will give more memory to the OS and will alleviate this problem.
    2.Make more ephemeral ports available following the steps in the article:

  • Creating a Business system in the SLD

    I am receiving an error message when trying to create a business system in the SLD. The error is "The selected client has an associated logical system nae that is already  used for another business system. Select a different client."
    Here is my issue. The business system that I am creating is for our R/3 4.6C production system. I currently have a business system for our R/3 4.6C quality system. Our prodution and quality R/3 systems do have the same logical system name and client number. This is because we recreate our qaulity R/3 system from our production system.
    So, the question is, How do I create a business system in the SLD for my production R/3 system when the logical system name is used assoicated with and business system.
    I should add that all my R/3 systems have been created as technical systems without any problems.

    It is recommended to have all ALE names unique.
    If it is not possible the following workaround can be used.
    Create one system in SLD (business system/technical system) which contains the ALE name. Proposal: The production system
    Create the other systems(dev/QA) without the ALE name
    During configuration the production system will be configured as usual.
    For Dev/QA systems: Define in the receiver agreement the header mapping and use The Receiver service to reference the production system. Because you reference the production system the ALE name of the production system will be used to fill the idoc.

    IT 0185 can be used for India payroll. This is for pan no, gratuity.
    This will not affect payroll.

    We maintain subtypes in table v_t591a. Goto tcode sm30 --> v_t591a --> select maintain
    OR
    Check his Infotype 105 and see if there is a valid record for the employee.

    After logging in when we click on the shop link , it is taking us to the new screen and getting message saying "You are already logged on to the system in the following sessions"

    You can enable multiple login in two ways.
    goto SICF and open service.
    1.Navigate to default_host->sap->bc->bsp->sap->srm(double click on srm service)
    2.Open Error Pages tab and clcik on Configuration button.
    3.Check whether check for multiple logon is enabled.

    goto RZ10
    To allow the user to have multiple login in SAP R/3, one have to set the Profile Parameters u201CLogin/disable_multi_gui_loginu201D OR u201CLogin/multi_login_usersu201D.
    1. Login/disable_multi_gui_login
    Controls whether multiple logins are enabled or disabled. 0 = enable 1 = disable
    2. Login/multi_login_users
    Here a list [user IDs] can be deposited that would allow users a multiple login even though the multi login is generally disabled. The multiple login information are stored in the table URSR41_MLD.
    Note: Select extented administration and clcik display. this is the place to maintain parameters.

Can Apple fix this bug to make it user friendly as if you were using Office or a Word Document?

    It’s only fair that if Apple is going to integrate Mail into Mac PCs, it would be nice if the system does it for you like Office or perhaps Outlook. I just don’t to use Outlook although I have it installed and ready to use, but instead use Mail which comes with Mac OS already.
    I hope to make some sense here.

  • Stop and start the system via the SAP GUI

    ........ although I don't know the answer!
    We have SAP running on an iSeries/DB2 format.
    And we of course have stopped and started our SAP systems many times before via an iSeries screen.
    One thing we have never had to do, is stop and start the system via the SAP GUI.
    Is this possible? If so, how is it done?
    Surprisingly difficult to find a solution online.

    You can also do a soft shutdown, which waits till the active users/sessions are logged out (Draing out the sesstions) and no more new users are allowed to login during that time.
    Goto SM51, select the instace/server you want to stop then menu --> Goto --> Server Name --> Administration --> Shut Down Server (soft).
    Here you can also select a hard shutdown if the situation demands by following the same menu path.
    Even though your question is answered but I still wanted to update you the options to select.

    You cannot use the cluster name for Java. You can only change the explicit machine name to another cluster member.     If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    through OBD4 (G/L Account Group - change field status) i have suppressed the Commitment item field status as well as in OBC4 (Field status variants) suppressed the commitment item field status.
    but when i tried to post accounting doc to other expense account which has the suppressed commitment item settings, system still asking for commitment item.
    the error message is "No commitment item entered in item 00001 xxxx xxxxxxxx"
    using FMDERIVE and maintain the account accordingly, no more error comes.
    question:
    - does it mean the commitment item (CI) check control designed at Company / Controlling area level?
    - is it possible to tell the system asking the CI entry for particular account only?

    thanks for the input.
    with PSM-FM is activated along with its relevant settings, the posting to accounting transaction requires commitment item.
    hence, for non-budget relevant account i created separate commitment item (non budget purpose) with suitable Comm. Item Category & Finance Trans. and maintain the derivation.
    it gave me the expected result for checking budget in particular account.

    You did turned in Settings > General > Usage > Battery Percentage: ON?
    Try a
    Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data

    Dear Paul, thank you very much for your time and answer, I followed those steps, somehow it helped the performance of my Imac, is faster now, but the screen issue about the very High contrast colours is still there. Since I am a photographer I am very depending on the screen calibration. I am worried that I came to damage the video card when I shut down the computer from the swicth when It was frozed.
